Not only rich Italian boys Teddy, ever watched Diners, Drive Ins and Dives on Food Network? Lots of Italian cooks (who aren't rich) don't have an accent either. Mejo stereotypical if you were trying to be funny.
That's the problem with us Filipinos. We Cannot accept constructive criticisms. Napaka-balat sibuyas! Kaya nadadala sa mga pa-contest sa TV eh, yung mga judges very safe mag-comment kasi once they say something negative, sandamakmak na bashing ang makukuha. Matuto nga tayo tumanggap ng pagkakamali to be better, pwede?

I think Teddy Locsin just speaks his mind out regardless if its good or bad. But I loved that he loves Dolce, Liza, Quen and Matteo speaking Italian (not the Italian speaking English with a heavy accent)! What more not to love in this show. Their acting were all on point! LizQuen is rocking it!
I tend to disagree that rich italian boys dont have the accent..if they grew uobin italy then they have the accent even f they immigrated to the US..not only ordinary pizza italian guys have the accent..not true...... pls educate yourself mr locsin on this issue because you are totally wrong..

Mahina kaya tatapusin na agad ang kalaban at number 1 sa Iwantv with more page views than PSY and OTWOL in their premiere months and always higher than 30% ang ratings and laging doble ng kalaban (yes sa Kantar hindi sa AGB dahil kung reliable ang AGB I don't think tatapusin na agad nila ang TMA na yan since panalo daw sa AGB)
Agree naman ako dun sa comments niya on Liza. But I don't like the Tenten character YET (too much of a wuss). I don't know too many Italians in person to gauge Giancarlo's accent, but his character "cried" yesterday and it was bad - constipated crying.

What's wrong if Gian Carlo has that kind of accent and mannerisms? What if that is his characterization? Italian people are not cut outs from the same mold. Every single Filipino have differences too. Just accept his character presentation, this Gian Carlo. OMG Teddy Boy go build a bridge and get over it. Ha ha ha
