  3. Ouch! I just turned 30 so I guess I'm a Sheng Nu. Buti nalang walang "marriage market" sa atin. I hate attending reunions kasi ang laging tanong "kelan ka mag-aasawa?".

    1. Naku baks wait til ur 34...every time makikita ka yung lovelife uungkatin sayo. As if naman yun lang nag dedefine sa pagkatao ng isang babae

    2. Mga baks ganun din ako! Lagi sinasabi "mawawala ka na sa kalendaryo, dapat mag-asawa ka na". Ang saya saya kaya ng walang asawa! At least pwede ako lagi maglakwatsa.

    3. And that only happens in the Philippines. When reaching 30 becomes pressure for women who are still single. But outside the Philippines, they don't care about age. They won't even ask about it or why you're still single.

    4. We are in the same dilemma. Ramdam na ramdam ko kayo.

  4. Thank you so much FP for this. All the more reason why I always here in your blog. Indeed a moving story. Married or single women should not be treated as leftover.

    1. Nobody should be treated as leftover.
Why are they still pressuring women to get married in China? They're over populated there

  5. Iba naman story ko. Im married for almost 20 years but childless. ang laging tanong is kelan namin planong mag ka anak. Nakaka offend din kung minsan

  6. In my experience in the phils, they always make fun of your age. Medyo discriminating sa age unlike in other countries.

  8. Im turning 31 this year
    Matagala ng walang boyfriend
    And zero suitors
Bakit nga ganun may work naman ako,im helping may family
Pero parang kulang pa rin kasi wala pa rin akong pamilya or asawa
Parang iyon ba ang definition ng pagkatao ko
Im planning to study law pero sabi nila lalong di daw ako makapag asawa.
Sino ba excited maging double slave
Utusan ka na sa opisina,(unless business owner ka) tapos pagdating sa bahay ganun din
Pero sa lalaki di expected yan.unfair

    1. wag ka ma-pressure teh. we were born single, we die and meet our Creator as singles. this world is over populated, not all are called for marriage, kun di swak sa personality mu ang lifestyle of longlife servitude, you are given a choice. being single gives you more opportunity to do what you want, study, learn and travel more, and also more opportunity to do good. just be a good person, in the eyes of God, all is fair.
