Not Her Locale

Young Celebrity (YC) learned a painful lesson, literally, when she realized that she cannot get away with her status. Despite her achievements and projects with a network, her face could only lead her to the gate of the studio, where she wanted to visit the performers. As soon as the Security Personnel (SP) saw YC approaching, awkwardness was already anticipated. However, SP stood by the rules and YC had no choice but to follow.
YC entered the compound in slippers and shorts. Walking quite a distance from the main gate to the said studio, YC thought everything would be fine and she would enter the studio without hassle. That thought soon turned into much discomfort. SP did not allow YC entry because she did not follow the dress code, which prohibited the wearing of shorts and slippers. SC told YC to return to the main gate. Instead of making a scene, SP followed.
As soon as she got to her car, YC was surprised to see that all she had were shoes with heels. Even if she recalled the distance that she needed to walk again to reach the studio, she wore her heels and started walking. Already following the dress code, SC allowed YC to enter the studio and visit whom she wanted.
When YC reached the dressing room, she was tired and her feet hurt as well. Unfortunately, the person she wanted to see was out for a meal. Wanting to relieve herself from her crazy and unexpected experience, YC shared her story and the listeners could only sympathize with her, knowing the drudgery she went through. In her defense, YC said she had no idea that such a dress code was strictly implemented in the studio premises. Now that she knows, she’ll definitely be a rule-abiding talent. More importantly, YC acted professionally without insisting on entry unlike certain celebrities who use their status to circumvent rules.

Major Letdown

Popular Singer (PS) seems to be getting into a bad habit when it comes to her performances outside her studio. As PS has a mass following, invitations for provincial events are plenty. As the saying goes, strike while the iron is hot, and thus, PS would accept shows left and right. Given the right price, PS would show up but is her presence worth the expenses on the part of the organizers?
PS was scheduled for a show somewhere north of the city. As expected, PS arrived two hours late. She was expected to perform four songs. During her numbers, she let the audience sing along for half the songs. She got someone from the audience to sing with her. While the audience was thrilled at being able to sing with PS, the organizers were not impressed. In short, PS was unable to sing her songs in full. Worse, her voice was so bad that it sounded like whispers. However, the organizers could not do anything, as the magic of PS was working on their townsfolk.
The organizer asked the assistant of PS as to why PS seems to be performing below par. The assistant said that PS had a taping for her show that lasted until morning. PS has also been feeling more lethargic these days, as she is busy with her commitments in mainstream media. Hence, PS was unable to vocalize. The organizer got the impression that PS was unprepared for the show. The organizer said that it was their first time to invite PS and they were disappointed and it even be her last. Nonetheless, the organizer gave the payment as agreed upon.
As soon as the show was over, PS rushed to her vehicle. She did even spare a minute for photos or even talk to some guests. The assistant said that PS still had a show in a neighboring town. The organizer laughed and said that with condition, PS still had the guts to perform in another town.
