Wise Partner (WP) wanted so much to join Hardworking Husband (HH) on his trip overseas for work. As WP has no more ties with HH’s company, she could only join him if she funds her own trip. For some couples, that condition should not be a problem, especially if they have the money. However, for WP and HH, their thinking is if they can find an ex-deal, then why should they even use their own money for their own pleasure.
Used to getting ex-deals, which apparently was the main support for her wedding, WP went to action and started using her network. She used her influence to get on the good side of a fanbase in the area where she and HH were going. Being a celebrity herself, the fans know her because of her projects and visibility in social media. When WP asked if someone could help them out, the response was overwhelming.
Some offered to take them to lunch and dinner and even sponsor their accommodations. For the most well-off fan in the area, WP requested for her airline ticket. Fans were very generous, as they know how expensive it is to go around their country.
However, these fans are not even the fans of WP or HH. These people who volunteered to sponsor the expenses of WP and HH are loyal fans of a celebrity couple. Allegedly, WP promised her sponsors items from the Female Partner (FP) of the said celebrity couple.
After finalizing the itinerary, WP invited FP for dinner and informed her of the overseas trip and how the fans of FP were raring to have a souvenir from her. Touched by the ‘thoughtfulness’ of WP, FP signed the items, such as caps and t-shirts, that WP brought. Sadly, FP had no idea that the stuff she signed were the ex-deal items WP would be giving to fans who would be spending for her and HH.
