In front of the cameras, celebrities create an image that could either make the audience love or hate them. What is powerful is the way these celebrities frame answers to questions raised in ambush interviews. The spontaneous responses show one’s wit and soundness of answers. Those unrehearsed interviews can make or break a career.
Aspiring Public Servant (PS) PS came from the entertainment industry and after sometime she heeded the call to see what she could do for her community. As a private citizen, PS was known for being a business woman, who gave work to people. In addition, PS came from a family of politicians, and thus helping was in her blood.
One time, PS was invited to speak toa private group about a topic that was close to her heart. The organizers expected PS to be cordial prior to giving her talk. True to her image, PS was soft-spoken and sounded kind. Initially, PS lived to their expectations until the staff noticed that PS was a bit demanding. The way she made requests was close to making orders already. So as not to express their views at the attitude of PS at the event, the staff kept quiet and followed her commands. However, the experience with PS turned them off and further convinced them that PS was indeed more of an ‘artista.’
