Cute Hunk (CH) has been in the entertainment industry long enough to know the ins and outs of one’s career. When he started, he was a typical newcomer who relied on breaks given by his management. He was not spared from comments that he only had looks. Time honed his talent and soon, he proved he could act. Subsequently, CH landed challenging roles and was recognized by critics as well.
Not only is CH valuable as a talent in front of the cameras, as he knows his worth behind the scenes as well. According to the grapevine, CH is much in demand in the circles for proposals, indecent or otherwise. CH is attractive, which accounts for his undeniable attraction. One time, a Non-showbiz Executive (NE) took the chance of proposing a deal to CH. NE thought he had the resources that would not make CH resist him. CH was smart as well and he knew how much he was wanted. Thus, he raised the bar high. He allegedly asked NE for a unit in exchange for a night with him. If NE took the deal, well, he would have quite a story to brag among his peers, and CH a home richer.

At the height of her workload, Lovable Celebrity (LC) was very generous, not only to her family, but to members of the media. After a press meeting, Media Personality 1 and 2 (MP1, MP2) used their charms on LC. MP1 and MP2 are respected practitioners, who use their talents to uplift many celebrities in publicity writeups.
MP1 said he was going on a trip, while MP2 said he was moving. LC gave MP1 a substantial amount, much higher than MP2’s. Then LC said that they should come up with positive posts about her or else time would come when she would ask to be paid back. At that time, everyone thought she was kidding.
The pandemic greatly affected the income of LC. Although she had savings, her expenses piled up and besides, she extended support to her partner, whose projects were limited due to production restrictions. Moreover, positive, nice write ups lessened, as social media readers preferred controversial stories. Consequently, LC contacted MP1 and asked to be paid.
MP1 was shocked as he thought the money was a gift, not a loan. MP1 could not argue his case, as LC reminded him that she said the day will come when she will ask to be repaid. The day arrived. However, MP1 said that he could only afford to return half of the amount. He then asked LC if she’s in financial trouble. MP1 broached the idea of writing about her situation. Of course, LC denied the thought. She then agreed on just getting the half back and the remaining half would just be for MP1 to keep quiet.

Friendly Celebrity (FC) invited Male Visitor (MV) to stay with him and His Benefactor (HB). MV was touched by the generosity of FC and thus, accepted the offer. There was no need to hide their true selves, as both have kept each other’s secrets during their careers. Moreover, MV just wanted to unwind and break away from locked-in tapings.
One time, FC asked MV to have a drink with him and HB. When MV was tipsy, FC and HB led him to the bedroom. MV felt he had no choice and went in. The three had a grand time with each other. Come morning, FC told MV that if he needed bookings, he had contacts who could pay well. MV laughed at the idea but still took the work opportunity. After earning more than enough from his bookings, MV bid farewell to FC. FC was surprised, but MV had his reasons, which he did not disclose.
MV was tired, as HB wanted intimacy daily. HB even said that he preferred him over FC. The thought made MV fearful, as FC might not like that idea and get mad. MV feared that FC might suddenly out him, something he’s not prepared for. Moreover, MV did not like the booking lifestyle. Leaving the couple was his best option. The timing was right, as no controversy has happened among the three of them.

No career is forever is the reality that many talents face. While others have learned that lesson the hard way, many have taken the smart path of venturing into ways of earning. Several talents have used their social media as a tool for selling or endorsing services and goods. Other showbiz personalities have turned to vlogging to augment their visibility and income.
Testimonies on income are diverse. On the one hand, influencers admit to earning more than enough to live comfortably. On the other hand, celebrities still rely on their appearances in mainstream media. What binds these income sources is the legitimate way of earning.
Sometime ago, Male Celebrity (MC) revealed his relationship with His Partner (HP). MC and HP have been separately involved in past controversies. Both overcame those issues, and time was crucial for fans to accept them as a couple. Sadly, the grapevine is abuzz on a new issue involving MC and HP. Non-showbiz customers are shocked and disappointed at how the couple left them empty-handed.
MC and HP allegedly ventured into selling. Given their showbiz status, customers all over the world gravitated. Now, some of those customers are crying foul. After they have paid, customers do not receive the goods to complete the transaction. Nothing is shipped out. Even a family member of MC has been ‘scammed’ by the couple’s alleged dealings. Rumors claimed that substantial amounts might be involved.
