Questionable Choice

After the recasting of a project was announced, cast members and production staff were surprised at the choice of the management. Reliable actresses from the network expressed their interest and were among the ones left wondering why they were snubbed.

Initially, an actress was approached for the role, but she refused at being the second choice. Besides, she did not want to be in lockdown for the shoot. Meanwhile, Another Actress (AA) was confident to be chosen, as other female possibilities had just completed work or were dealing with personal matters. AA was confident she would get the role.

Sadly, AA was disappointed as the role was given to Female Talent (FT), who does not have as much acting experience as she has. Tongues started wagging at the choice of FT for the plum role in the project. Even the lead cast members wondered when FT was named. One lead even approached the production head and expressed his apprehension. He was assured that FT would be able to pull it through.

What then was the reason for FT’s choice? Rumors indicated that Influential Personality (IP) pushed for FT to get the role. As IP is among the trusted and dependable production heads of the network, his expression of support for FT was given weight. Now, alleged stories of IP and FT being seen in a car in the network’s parking lot are spreading. What is puzzling to those who have seen IP and FT together is that he is rumored to be in a relationship with a female celebrity.

Talents these days have to be extra careful with their words and actions, as walls have ears and talk easily reaches people who are not supposed to know their thoughts. Haughty Talent (HT) and Unsettled Female (UF) were already prepared and ready to leave for a stay-in shoot. After many months of between jobs, they finally had a project. Then, at the last minute, they were informed that they were no longer part of the cast. The reason given to them was unclear and ‘management decision’ was said. Even their handlers were clueless why the cast was changed.

Apparently, HT and UF were talking about moving to other management teams while they were waiting for a meeting with what could have been their project. UF was worried that her career was going nowhere and that her talent fee had been slashed, as her exposure has not been maximized. UF felt she has not been visible to her fans outside of Luzon, where her following is plenty. Similarly, HT shared that he wanted to move, as he had offers before. UF said that he should take her as well. Further, they agreed that they would move after they complete their project.

What HT and UF did not know was that a Production Executive (PE) was listening to their discussion. PE was not pleased and believed that the two were out to get money and exposure. Commitment to the network seemed unimportant. Subsequently, PE told higher management about HT and UF. Hence, the two were booted out. For now, the future of the two are hanging, as no management teams are interested.

When celebrity couple started hanging out a few years ago, many fans of Female Celebrity (FC) expressed doubt and disappointment in her partner, Male Talent (MT). FC is highly esteemed by her group and by contrast, MT was not a good choice for them. FC did not listen, as love prevailed. Soon, schedules had to be worked out to keep their relationship strong. FC had to make the most adjustment.

Despite the length of their relationship, MT started to look elsewhere. Rumors emerged that MT would entertain his pretty female fans and even spent time with an ex-girlfriend. When stories reached FC, she confronted MT. Predictably, he denied the accusations and the two worked out their issues.

Unfortunately, MT is a hot guy. Once he was caught pleasing himself while on location. Then, in another project, he allegedly gave in to the advances of a closeted actor. He was seen by a staff who had ties with FC. FC asked MT about the incident, which he again belied. However, FC’s source was reliable and thus, she stopped speaking to MT.

Subsequently, MT became depressed and turned to an old habit. Allegedly, his Said Supplier (SS) would demand sex before giving the product to her cute clients. Incidentally, SS’s rule almost caused popular couple to break up, but they managed to patch up things. Meanwhile, MT gave in to SS. The incident reached FC and that was the last straw. She called the breakup for good.

A Wise Spender

Customer data are usually confidential and delivery services are expected not to talk about their recipient lists. However, such is far from reality, especially among riders who find themselves hanging around the same restaurant locations. Thus, certain names would come up given that they patronize the same food services. One customer that surprised several riders is Wise Celebrity (WC).

On cam, WC developed a generous reputation. Whenever WC has the opportunity to donate cash or give away prizes, WC will do so to delight the audience, who assumed that WC is the same when away from the spotlight. The delivery riders thought similarly as well, but they were disappointed.

Whenever WC orders for food delivery, true character shows, and the riders are shocked. For instance, WC pestered a rider to deliver immediately the huge amount of food ordered even if the weather was so bad at zero visibility. The threat even led to cancellation, which the rider dreaded. Hence, the rider had to brave the waters to reach WC's home.

Then, no allotment of tips was considered. A helper would hand the exact amount, down to the centavo to the rider. One rider suspected that the helper might be keeping the extra amount, but after talking with other riders who had delivered to WC, he was wrong. WC was not the generous personality that WC had projected on camera. Apparently, WC is stingy given the experiences of the riders.

Friend’s Secret

Sometime ago, Showbiz Scion (SS) took his Handsome Brother (HB) to meet his gay friends. His friends welcomed HB. One of the people in the group, Noted Personality (NP) was attracted to HB. SS thought everything was going to be fine.

SS never liked the limelight despite coming from a family with showbiz connections. Thus, SS has a good reach when it comes to having friends in showbiz. As people know which clan SS belongs, friends are easy to make. Nonetheless, SS knows that if he enters showbiz, intrigue will rip apart his family once he flaunts his sexuality.

By contrast, NP has a career in the entertainment industry and his preferences are out in the open. The fans have accepted NP for who he is and seem not to be bothered by his choices. Although he is a friend, NP has kept a secret from SS.

NP has had his taste of HB without SS knowing. He’s been pleasuring HB and SS has no idea of what was happening behind his back. Moreover, NP is enjoying HB without giving anything in return. It’s all just charm and beauty.
