Unguarded Behavior

SA started out as a promising young talent and his efforts were often noticed by critics. SA would receive accolades and his seniors would praise him. The industry saw potential and SA was supposed to be on the road to becoming one of the better actors of his generation. That was not the case. Personal matters started to affect SA, as he realized that he cannot use his acting skills to face reality. He had vices that were typical for his age and his indulgences got the better of him.
On the one hand, the industry can be kind to its players and present all opportunities. On the other hand, the same industry can be united in dismissing a former toast of the town. SA fell in the second category. However, love for his art prevailed and SA was given another chance, as he promised to live for the better. Everyone loves a person who turns over a leaf.
While SA seems to be the good boy these days, he might not be mindful enough to ensure that he behaves properly in public. During a town event, SA was allegedly spotted in a bar drinking with women. People who saw SA found his behavior quite unbecoming, as it seemed opposite the image he wanted the public to believe in. What was sad is that SA was in town for a personal matter, which does not call for such behavior.
Despite his rollercoaster personal experiences, SA has continued to strive and not lose faith in life. Still, some habits seem to be hard to shrug off.

Then, happy days are over. One flop at the box-office or failure to rate is all that is needed to put a celebrity’s financial situation in jeopardy. Although many celebrities are smart when it comes to investing, many are not. Worse, when a talent or someone close to him/her has an attitude, getting that next project for the income might be difficult.
When former Popular Personality (PP) was moving up the career ladder, he was in demand left and right. His shows came one after the other. He was adored locally and overseas fans loved him as well. However, his star waned, which could be due to followers falling out and new trends rising. Then, PP fell in love with an alleged High Maintenance woman (HM).
PP knew HM was his forever and he mellowed down with his bachelor lifestyle. Nonetheless. PP has been warned that HM keeps a certain lifestyle that involves her family. Hence, being together implied that PP will support HM and her family. PP did not mind that rumor and went on with his life with HM.
Unfortunately, PP no longer had that many gigs as before and this situation might have affected his finances. Rumors have it that PP was forced to surrender a property investment in a highly popular location. His cheques were allegedly bouncing. The inability to pay the monthly dues led the developer to take back the said unit of PP.
These days, PP is more visible as before and hopefully, his projects would enable him to maintain a lifestyle fit for him and HM along with opportunities to spend his money wisely.

ABS-CBN artists emerged as big winners at the PMPC Star Awards for Music held at the SM North Skydome in Quezon City on Thursday night.
"Asia's Songbird" Regine Velasquez led the awardees as she was honored with the Pilita Corrales Lifetime Achievement Award.
She dedicated her win to her father Gerardo "Mang Gerry" Velasquez, who passed away in 2014.
"Nagpapasalamat po ako sa Panginoon dahil ako po ay binigyan ng pagkakataon na gawin ang pinakagusto kong gawin sa buhay ko, that is to entertain all of you. So maraming, maraming salamat, Lord, for this wonderful gift. Naiiyak ako," Velasquez said in her acceptance speech.
"I'd also like to say thank you to my whole family," she added. "Inaalay ko ang award na ito kay Mang Gerry."
The Levi Celerio Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Jose Mari Chan.
JK Labajo's "Buwan" won the Song of the Year award, while Jaya's "Queen of Soul" was named Album of the Year.
Meanwhile, Moira dela Torre bagged the Female Recording Artist of the Year award, with Jed Madela and Christian Bautista tied as Male Recording Artist of the Year.
