Make the Most of Every Opportunity

The skeletons in Young Discovery’s (YD) closet are slowly inching their way out, as people who allegedly know her well are revealing details about her pre-showbiz life. Such is the price to pay for someone who sought fame and is getting that much attention.

Prior to joining the industry, YD was an ordinary private citizen who had dreams of breaking into a field whereby success means easy money. Some young people would rather forego education for a shot at showbiz and would not mind relegating studying as their lesser priority. Thus, when a network provided the opportunity for a career, YD was among the members of the pack, and because of her showing, she emerged as leader.

One great concern for any upcoming celebrity is the image that will be created around YD. As she started out being cute and funny, the network is focusing on light projects for her and her potential loveteam partner. Along with this image is the need for her wholesomeness to appeal to the younger crowd and to the older generation, as well. After all, YD could serve as an inspiration for others who dream of making a career.

However, YD might not be the wholesome role model that her present status seems to project. She already had three boyfriends, which is quite a fete considering that she is barely out of her teens. Then, while all eyes have been focused on her and her loveteam partner, she has a boyfriend, which makes him the fourth of her relationships. Further, sleepovers seemed to be a normal thing for YD and her former partners.

While the alleged behavior of YD leaves much to be desired, especially for people who are looking for someone to look up to, the presence of parents is partly to blame. Growing up, YD might not have had a complete family, as her parent worked abroad. Moreover, YD had no proper guidance and the ideal family setup. Hence, her desire for attention and a showbiz career is rooted deeply.

The image that is being molded for YD will cover up layers of her previous questionable choices. As her fame meter rises, so would the intrigues, and YD should be ready to face any issue thrown at her. She needs to make better choices, as one failed project can immediately be a setback in her career. Her personal life should be checked as well and her handlers should make sure all her actions conform to her image. After all, netizens are quick at finding information that can clip her wings or make her soar high.

Is There a Rift Between Marjorie and Dani Barretto?

Is all not well between Marjorie Barretto and eldest daughter Dani?

Dani Barretto has been seen spending time and staying with the family of her estranged father Kier Legaspi. Photos show her with family members, including her grandmother and cousins, Mavy and Cassy. Rumors indicated that Marjorie did not like the idea of Dani’s allegedly coming home late several times. This issue could have caused a rift between mother and daughter, and Dani has decided to seek comfort with the family of her biological father.

Marjorie was in her late teens when she gave birth to Dani. Her relationship with Legaspi did not work out, and Marjorie was later on married to and separated from Dennis Padilla, with whom she had Julia, Claudia, and Leon. While Julia and Claudia are pursuing careers in showbiz, Dani has opted to stay away from the limelight. She started blogging and attempted to establish a career as a fashion expert.

Fanning the flame to the alleged rift between mother and daughter is the absence of Dani in the photo of Marjorie Barretto celebrating her birthday. Only her children with Padilla were with her in the said photos.

A Closed Liaison

Ever since she has been involved with boys in her life, Denial Talent (DT) has been refuting any claims that she and Problematic Celebrity (PC) are together. Although they have developed closeness over the years as proverbial partners in movies and television shows, both refuse to admit they are together.

While their fans have hoped that they are already together, their statements usually evade from confirming anything of that sort. The fans of DT have wished for her to find the man with whom she would be able to spend her life with. After her relationship with Cute Boy (CB), which she had denied, was over, the behavior of DT made them worried. She was obviously heartbroken and probably had grown tired from trying to make CB lessen his partying and seeing other girls at that time.

The timing was right when PC entered the picture. PC provided the distraction from the heartbreak and the fans of DT were elated. The network, too, was ecstatic, as the loveteam of DT and PC were adored by fans. However, not everything was smooth-sailing for their loveteam, as PC had personality problems that had turned off many insiders in the network. For his career-damaging transgressions, the network was quick to do damage control.

As years passed, the two matured together and fans still hoped for the day when the two would admit their formal commitment. Well, that will never happen, as the grapevine is abuzz with rumors that the two are over. No wonder, both have been pursuing projects and vacations away from each other. Usually, the two would be together in out of town trips, but this time, they are not. DT is somewhere up in the mountains, while PC has been posting one-liners insinuating something ended.

Strengthening the break up rumor is the lack of interest shown by PC when their fandom sponsored block screenings for his movie. He missed out on attending three screenings and allegedly reasoned out that he and DT are over anyway. Of course, this attitude of PC is consistent with rudeness that has irked many people. PC could have just at least shown he appreciated the effort of their fans in trying to add to the box-office receipts of his movie.
