Daniel Padilla humbly responded to the heated tirades posted by “Paminsan-Minsan” singer Richard Reynoso on his Facebook account a few days ago.

In a phone interview with Ambet Nabus and Gretchen Fullido on their DZMM radio program Chismax on Sunday evening, Daniel, who is currently in Hong Kong with Kathryn Bernardo for a series of screenings of their film Can’t Help Falling In Love, addressed the latest issue hurled at him.

"Ewan ko. Pasensya na siguro. Mali siguro ako,” he began.

The singer-actor was criticized for his performance in the recently-concluded Binibining Pilipinas 2017 coronation night.

“Hayaan nyo na may opinyon naman ang lahat ng tao. Kung ‘yun ang opinion niya wala naman tayong magagawa," said Daniel.

The “Hindi Ko Kaya” singer lambasted the way the La Luna Sangre star serenaded the candidates of the pageant.

He likewise complained about Daniel’s supposed “off-key performance” of the song “The Way You Look Tonight.”

Kathryn, during her turn for the interview, thanked the fans who have supported their summer movie and shared that they are set to get back into training for their upcoming fantaserye La Luna Sangre soon as they return to the country.

Just Face the Reality

The lack of a divorce law and the difficulty of obtaining an annulment can often hold back the moving on of people whose marriages were not as what they had expected. Sadly, even if parties have amicably gone their separate ways, the lack of an annulment prevents them from marrying the person with whom they would want to spend the rest of their lives with.

Even if annulment is granted on certain grounds by the local courts, the time and the cost spent can be taxing. For some celebrities, filing an annulment case is their way of finally putting a stop to a hurtful relationship and their way of liberating themselves. Moreover, having a previous marriage annulled would give such celebrities the opportunity to raise a family with a new person, who will eventually be his/her ‘forever.’

When Award-winning Actress (AA) and Waiting Celebrity (WC) admitted their relationship, they were welcomed with positive reactions rather than condemnation. Although both are single parents, with AA being separated from a legal relationship and WC having a child during his teen years, they hit it off and soon, even fans were supportive of their possible settling down together.

Prior to their committing to each other, their respective partners have already moved on as well. In AA’s case, her Ex-Husband (EH) had already found a new love and both are raising a family. Meanwhile, the mother of the child of WC has moved away as well and living her own life with a new partner. While things seemed easy for AA and WC to take the plunge, certain legal matters are impeding their decision.

A favorable decision has yet to be reached by the courts for AA and EH. In fact, the initial outcome was not positive, and both had no choice but to accept the decision. However, this decision no longer affected their present relationships. Both AA and WC continued with their professions despite having moments of taking time off from each other. One moment, they would be reported to have separated, but in the next, they would be seen together in gatherings behaving like a couple.

Similarly, EH and his New Love (NL) are waiting for the court decision. In their case, both have to deal with such decision. NL took the plunge thinking that her long-time boyfriend was the one for her. This relationship reached a toxic point that brought out the worst out of NL. Even if related incidents almost cost her a career, NL moved on until she found EH.

Times are positive, however. Despite having to wait for courts to decide their future, both couples have become close friends to the point that their kids have bonding moments. The road to their legal freedom is still long and complicated by the needed documents, among others. Of course, patience and love are requires as well. Particularly, in the case of WC, his patience must be as deep as a well as the legal freedom of AA seems to take forever.
