Must Stay On
When things finally seemed settled, trouble is hounding the relationship of Patient Figure (PF) and Dependent Celebrity (DC). Ever since PF admitted he likes DC, her camp immediately took their usual positions and made her life harder. Yet, PF persevered to prove his sincere intentions and to teach DC a thing or two about life outside her sheltered environment. However, recent observations are making their followers wonder if everything is okay between PF and DC.
When PF had to go out of the city for his engagements lately, fans were pleasantly surprised to see DC in the audience or nearby. DC seemed to be alone and without any chaperone, which is a big achievement for her given her situation. However, in an event that featured DC, the audience waited for PF to show up, but not even his shadow showed up. Hence, their supporters are in a quandary as to why PF was absent.
According to the grapevine, the decision for PF not to be present was based on a mutual agreement between the two. Worse, PF seems to be having second thoughts because Influential Relative (IR) is starting to interfere in their relationship again. When DC went out of her way to support PF, IR reprimanded her like a six-year old child. PF is at a loss as to why IR suddenly changed his attitude towards him, when everything seems to be fine earlier.
Adding to the alleged waning of interest of PF is that DC continues to live a life that is totally dependent on IR. Even her finances are not within her control, as IR is the one who allegedly collects her fees and DC cannot even access those deposits. Despite the fact that DC was the sole source of finances, she could hardly enjoy the fruits of her labor and even the recognition that she is old enough to make sound decisions seems to have been taken away from her.
Given this mess that PF tried to fix for DC, things seemed to be back to square one. He has been attempting to teach her to stand on her own and to decide independently, which she seems afraid to do. Despite the frustration he is already feeling, PF is still hanging on. Then, someone already told PF of the alleged very personal incident involving DC. While any partner could have immediately made a big deal out of this knowledge, PF has refused to confront DC even though his instinct is telling him otherwise. Could this incident be the reason why IR started being strict again? Nonetheless, while the couple seems to be hitting some snag, everyone wants them to overcome their issues and end up with each other for good.

Just a Bad Selection
Sometime ago, NT1 was in limbo, as she seemed to be beset with controversy that had affected her reputation and her following. While her projects for her network were promising, the revenues were disappointing. Unfortunately, her network is one that values the return on investment of each project. If a talent delivers the desired ROI, then that talent will definitely have a follow-up project immediately. By contrast, talents who fail have to wait until the network remembers him/her.
In the case of NT1, her lucky star shone brightly on the day Network Talent 2 (NT2) made a crucial decision. NT2 was offered several projects, but the problem was that all these projects had one main goal and NT2 was not greedy to say yes to all these offers. Thus, the choice of NT2 left a door for NT1 to enter. Finally, the network remembered that once upon a time, NT1 was a bigger star than NT2, and thus, she was chosen for a project that was allegedly meant for the latter.
Meanwhile, the results of decisions started to become real. The project that NT2 turned down seems to show more promise than the project she opted to do, which failed to reach its aim. On hindsight, NT1 has always been allegedly insecure of NT2. Unlike NT1, NT2 has the talent as well as versatility, which made her land among the top talents of the network. On the one hand, except for a few controversies, NT2 has kept her life private. NT1, on the other hand, has tried to draw the line between her public and private affairs to no avail. Hence, public perception is different when it comes to NT1 and NT2 facing off.
However, NT2 might also have a mean streak. She was allegedly overheard telling a close friend that she hopes the project of NT1 would be a flop. For NT1 to fail would appease her disappointment at not having chosen that project.
