It seems you don't want me to stay quiet and your trolls want to keep perpetuating lies about me. My friend JC Buendia & my sister Viel both showed me this paulit ulit na FB post. The necklaces supposedly belonged to Mrs Marcos & I was brazen enough to wear them for the APEC DINNER. Duh? The necklace I wore was made from cubic zirconia & silver- hindi po DIAMONDS, in other words fake sila although Bottega Veneta naman.😂 ENOUGH! And the TRUTH is on my side- including credit card receipts. 💳 P.S. I have a long standing event for #ARIEL on Tuesday, even if my necklaces aren't appropriate for showing how you can remove more than 100 different types of stains- what the heck, isusuot ko na sila, after all I paid for them w/ hard earned, tax paid income, and hindi ko na problema kung yung pagnanakaw ng iba trip nilang ibintang/pagtakpan using me- and to be perfectly clear, I'm not referring to Mrs. Marcos. So this is FAIR WARNING- stop lying about me if you don't want your rotting skeletons unearthed. #IAMBACK

Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella on Sunday, October 9, responded to actress Agot Isidro's criticism against President Rodrigo Duterte.

In a statement, Abella said: "While she (Isidro) is entitled to her own opinion, it also reveals the kind of attitude that the President is addressing – dependency on foreign aid. He wants the Filipino people to gain true independence, economically, mentally and socially."

In a Facebook post last Friday, October 7, Isidro said: "Unang-una, walang umaaway sa iyo. As a matter of fact, ikaw ang nang-aaway.

(First of all, no one's fighting with you. As a matter of fact, you're the one picking fights with others.)

"Pangalawa, yung bansa kung saan ka inuluklok ng 16 million out of 100+million people ay Third World. Kung makapagsalita ka parang superpower [ang] Pilipinas eh. At excuse me, ayaw namin magutom. Mag-isa ka na lang. Wag ka mangdamay. Hindi na nga nakakain ang nakakarami, gugutumin mo pa lalo.

(Second, this country, where 16 million out of 100+ million voted for you, is a Third World [country]. The way you talk, it's as if the Philippines were a superpower. And excuse me, none of us want to go hungry. Just be by yourself. Don't drag other people into it. A lot of people are already starving, you'll make them starve more.)

"Pangatlo, may kilala ako psychiatrist. Patingin ka, hindi ka bipolar. You are a psychopath."

(Third, I know a psychiatrist. Why don't you have a check-up? You're not bipolar. You are a psychopath.)

Isidro, who is part of the show Ang Probinsyano, seemed to be reacting to Duterte's remarks that he would not beg for assistance from the United States and the European Union – as her Facebook post included a link to the story on that topic.

"Maski magkahirap dito (Even if we face hardships), we will survive. I'll be the first one to go hungry, I'll be the first one to die of hunger, huwag kayo mag-alala (don't worry). But we will never, never compromise our dignity as Filipinos," said Duterte at a police camp in Butuan City last Thursday, October 6.

The Lucky Guy

Sometime ago, Talented Personality (TP) was the toast of the town. TP was being recognized in his field and was given various projects that tested his talents in hosting, acting, and performing. TP seemed to have the makings of one of the pillars of his network, as he was well received by the audience and colleagues. However, his fame did not materialize as expected when the reality hit that the viewership was fickle-minded. Thus, TP had to be repackaged given that he was more mature, older, and had moved on from the end of a high-profile relationship.

While his appearance in the major channels became less, as younger talents emerged, his network did not let him down. He still had projects with the network, but not as frequent as before. However, unlike other talents, TP remained loyal and did not move to any other station.

Just as when TP was going to be relegated in the backdrop, he suddenly got a call from a production arm of the network. TP was the choice of the Cute Host (CH) of an upcoming show. Although excited, TP was not surprised because he was introduced to CH at a private gathering a few weeks back. During the said event, TP was introduced to CH. When one is introduced to CH, one does not flinch, one gets mesmerized. Naturally, TP entertained CH, and they talked as if they were the best of friends.

During a similar event, the two met again, and this time, they decided to have dinner. The bond got stronger.

Now, when the production team learned that CH did not like the idea of having a wacky female co-host, they could not understand where he was coming from until he suggested he wanted TP to be his partner. Of course, the production team could not risk losing CH and besides, TP is competent when it comes to the theme of the said program.

As the program required an out of town trip, the production team further understood where CH was coming from. CH had a request, which was hard to turn down, as it had budget implications. CH said that it was okay for him to share a room with TP. Originally, the team had already planned for separate rooms for the two.

After the shoot, CH and TP decided to explore the place further and even went clubbing after. The next day, the crew had to extend patience as the two were hours late for the call time. When TP and CH arrived, the crew could only look at each other, as they had suspicions of what could have transpired the night before. What CH wants, CH gets. Besides, TP could have reminded him of an alleged former lover, who has since distanced himself from CH. In case, TP manages to get back to doing major roles in the network, no one would wonder why he suddenly would become more visible than ever. After all, CH could be very influential if he decides to do so.
