Remaining Faithful to Her Quest for Love
After her first show folded up, VP found her way as a talent of a major production. Young and naïve, she fell for the charms of the then-sought Manly Actor (MA). At that time, showing skin and daring scenes were the norm and MA was among those fit for such roles. However, VP seemed to be too young for MA. Besides, MA was already a father to a number of children then.
As years passed, her film outfit gave her the break and soon, VP had a string of hit shows as well as movies. The audience gravitated towards her light disposition and her antics. While her image risked encouraging people to believe that she was showing her true self, VP had to ride on, as money was good. Soon, she was able to transcend the daring trend to become a more wholesome performer. Then, as one is only as good as the last project, VP succumbed to slowly falling from the peak of her career.
During the time when VP settled for a particular medium, rumors were rife that she was having a relationship with Someone from a Powerful Family (SF). Their relationship was kept like an open secret because SF was a married man and his kin could not risk any scandal. VP kept quiet, although she did reveal that she had at one point, met the family of SF. Then, VP even hinted at settling down, but did not at all reveal the identity of the one. Thus, the assumption was that VP was pining for SF. When SF lost his foothold and was facing a bigger controversy, VP panicked in a way. Not only did love fail her, certain sectors were hinting at linking VP to the troubles of SF. Again, VP lost at love.
Every so often, VP would hint that she had found the one and was about to settle down. Short of being a female version of the ‘boy who cried wolf,’ VP never gave up. She hooked up with a foreign boyfriend, whom she thought was her forever. Then, a colleague was even rumored to be a beau. Finally, the public was tired at her failed relationships, but VP was of a different mode. After addressing her own issues, VP finally found her Unconditional Love (UL).
However, similar to her treatment of her past relationships, VP gave the public a glimpse of UL. Then, to prove that this relationship was serious, VP continued to make known their plans for their future. Moreover, VP has even allegedly been selling her collection to make sure they have enough funds. Then, just as things seemed to be in place for their big day, a rumor that VP might already be in the interesting stage emerged. Now, kibitzers are saying that instead of spending for the big day, the couple might opt to make things simpler and focus their finances on the alleged little one. At last, VP could finally realize her dream.

Is Kris Aquino Leaving ABS-CBN and Transferring to GMA?

Early this year, the contract of Ms. Kris Aquino with ABS-CBN expired and negotiations were then underway. After all, the years of service and dedication Aquino gave to the station were immeasurable and the idea of Kris no longer a ‘Kapamilya’ seemed unthinkable. However, Aquino opted to use the time to rest and attend to personal obligations that included her presence during the campaign for certain candidates. After the elections, Aquino extended her vacation and her fans expressed that she was sorely missed. Her social media postings became less frequent, but she would manage to post on certain days to update her followers.
The announcement of whether Aquino will remain with the station was still up in the air. While several talents were already signing their renewals with the network, Aquino was glaringly missing. A few days ago, a picture of Aquino meeting with Tony Tuviera, the big man of APT, Entertainment, Inc., raised a lot of speculations. First, rumors have it that she might be the leading lady of Vic Sotto in the next ‘Enteng Kabisote’ movie. Second, the meeting was an indication that Aquino was about to make a big move.
According to a reliable source, the state of Aquino’s career with her former network is faced with an offer that any talent would find hard to refuse. Not only is the value rewarding, career management and endorsements are part of the APT contract as well. Rumors have it that Aquino has been offered to do a daily show with a yet-to-be-named talent of APT, a weekly gameshow, and an entertainment-oriented program.
Allegedly, the offer that her former network could put on the table is merely a fraction of what APT had presented to her. The contract had lesser amount and a shorter duration. However, nothing is still final, as the big bosses of ABS-CBN will still be meeting on the matter. Meanwhile, Aquino appeals to her fans for respect concerning her career decisions. She stressed that she needs her fans more than ever.
If indeed Aquino will be returning to GMA, it will be a homecoming of sorts. After all, Aquino was one of the hosts of GMA Supershow as well as Startalk before she moved to ABS-CBN.
The public will have to wait for the conclusion of this developing story that could create impact in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Actor James Reid is one of the showbiz personalities who see nothing wrong with the administration's war against illegal drugs.
"I guess it's all for the better, so I don't see any problem with that," Reid told ABS-CBN News and selected members of the entertainment media in an interview on Friday during the launch of his newest endorsement, Fujifilm.
Reid went on to say that he "has nothing to be afraid of."
"Me? I love going to festivals, I love partying. I guess I have nothing to be afraid of if I don't do anything wrong," he added.
When asked if he is willing to undergo a drug test, he replied: "Of course, definitely."
Meanwhile, Reid shared his excitement over his newest series with his girlfriend, Nadine Lustre.
"Till I Met You" will debut on August 29, replacing "Dolce Amore."

Spotted: Pregnant Georgina Wilson Burnand Poses with Fans
After the weddings of Solenn Heussaff to Nico Bolzico and Georgina Wilson to Arthur Burnand in May, the next most awaited moment is the arrival of their babies. When asked about their plans for having the little one, Solenn expressed that they might have their first child in a couple of years, before she reaches her mid-30s. Meanwhile, Arthur is said to want to have children right away, and it seems that the couple might indeed be awaiting the birth of their baby.
