She Could Do Much Better
Fast-rising Pretty Newbie (PN), whose name is becoming famous, has not been spared from her secrets being spilled in the grapevine. It seems that PN has succumbed to the temptation that hovers around beautiful and attractive personalities. Allegedly, PN has fallen for the charms of Non-Showbiz Businessman (SB), who happens to be very rich and well connected to a few showbiz personalities.
Given the mixed heritage of PN, she naturally makes heads turn, and immediately, people know she has potential to make it big in the entertainment industry. Under the management of an influential group, PN has been presented opportunities to gain exposure by appearing in high profile projects that have been aired in major stations and the cinema.
Yet, potential seems insufficient and circumstances have led to looking at temptation straight in the eye. The meeting of PN and SB was facilitated by Versatile Starlet (VS). Having been in the business ahead of PN, VS is more familiar with the ins and outs of such transactions. At one point, VS had to hook up with an industry insider to assure her of work, as she has been waging a battle with her weight that has made her lose some jobs. Initially, VS was interested in SB, but given her reputation, SB was not. Thus, he shifted his attention to the younger and fresher PN.
Although she is already an adult, PN is still considered young, and being seen alone with SB would definitely raise eyebrows. Hence, VS is supportive enough to join them whenever they have dates. A group date would never raise suspicion that something else is happening. Besides, PN has much potential in her career and a story relating to her alleged relationship with an older man would definitely put everything to a halt. Thus, they have to be very careful, but the two have managed to travel abroad allegedly. These past months, PN seems to be gaining momentum, but having a connection with SB might put her career in jeopardy. Perhaps, PN could be reminded of her priorities before she gets deeply involved in a choice that she might regret later.

Comedienne Melai Cantiveros wants to fix her marriage with husband Jason Francisco, who surprised many Tuesday night when he announced on Instagram that their fan-favorite relationship has reached an end.
A source told ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe that Cantiveros is hoping to iron out their marital problems, which stems, according to Francisco, from her accepting her role in "We Will Survive."
Francisco, in a series of posts, explained that he and Cantiveros had an initial agreement that she won't have a partner in the series and that she will only have a leading man for the pilot week.
Cantiveros, who married Francisco on December 2013, has yet to speak up about their split.
The source further reported that Cantiveros broke down during a taping for an upcoming episode of her morning talk show "Magandang Buhay" when the topic of "forever" was brought up.
No other details were revealed.
Francisco was not immediately available for comment as he is with his family in Mindoro, Felipe said.

Must Keep Her Befitting Lifestyle
Given that FP only had showbiz as his main source of income, his money was dependent on the projects that came his way. Then, as a supporting actor, his projects were irregular and thus, he was deemed financially incapable of supporting the lifestyle PS wanted. At that point, FP could not do much, as NL was quite powerful.
Over the years, PS lived life comfortably. She had a home, steady support from NL, and space to do what she wants. However, there were restrictions as she was just second in the life of NL, who happened to be a married man. Nonetheless, PS lived like the Joneses.
Then, one day, NL and his family made a decision, which was for him to try to reclaim what was once his. Thus, the resources were channeled to make sure NL would reach his goal. The investment was made in the hope that the returns would come quick and be bigger. The stars did not shine on NL, as his gamble did not pay off. The understanding is that his families should scrimp a bit given that the money lost would be returned. Did PS even bother to follow?
Unmindful of reality, PS continued with her lifestyle, and made sure that she continued to live well. Not thinking of her budget, PS booked a vacation at a popular destination and treated her entourage like there was no tomorrow. The place was expensive, but worth it.
When the bill came, PS did not flinch even though her budget was only a third of the cost of their spending. After paying a third of the bill, PS said that she would use her connections to make sure the place gets all the publicity it could get. In short, she was offering to do PR work for the place. Naturally, she was turned down. PS then promised to send the balance.
After sometime, PS half the balance, which meant that she had paid two-thirds of the bill. After some more bargaining, PS and the place agreed that the remaining six-figure balance could be paid via service. The place agreed to take on the proposal of PS, which was for her to do PR work to pay off the balance. Now, months have passed and the place noticed that PS has yet to fulfill her proposal to do PR for the place. The question is if PS will be true to her word or will she just brush off the issue. Meanwhile, FP is making sure that he gets to help the family of PS in his own little way, e.g., dropping a few good words here and there.
