Will You Believe or Doubt These Allegations?

One of the most welcome treats after working really hard is a couple of hours of massage. These days, options abound as to where massages could be availed. Others prefer to go to a spa, which assures that facilities, and sometimes even buffet, would be available for related services. Besides, going to the spa would be of less hassle, as the client would only have to show up and not bother with cleaning up after.

The risky part of going to a spa is the potential lack of privacy. Therefore, unless a celebrity is willing to risk being spotted, he or she might opt for home services. With just a phone call, anyone could avail of massages for a certain fee and a certain experience if one could afford it. Nonetheless, sources of juicy stories would be therapists who might be unable to contain their encounters with famous celebrities.

For example, one therapist said that she knows for a fact that a Male Celebrity (MC) is well endowed. Although she did not elaborate on details, showbiz stories circulated that his family jewels are indeed one reason why his Present Girlfriend (PG) will not even think of breaking up with him. MC and PG are both alums of a reality show, but whose careers have not really shot up since they started. Unlike MC, however, PG is known for trying to reinvent her image and until recently, no more change in her image has been heard of.

Another story involved the preference of Pretty Actress (PA). When a customer called for massage services, the therapist thought the requirement was just the usual. Then the customer, which would later turn out to be PA, said that she would be willing to pay an extra amount, which is actually almost twice the cost of the usual service, for a yoni massage experience. The therapist was shocked, but the amount was just too much to resist.

For the uninitiated, a yoni massage refers to a therapeutic rite of inserting a finger into her private part. “Yoni” is the Sanskrit word for the ‘sacred cave’ or female genitalia. Hence, a yoni massage could be a pleasant experience of done by an expert. As any sacred ritual, sex is not part of the rite.

Two things came to mind when the request was given. The first notion is if PA was merely seeking a new form of relaxation and knew of the advantages of such special treatment. The second notion is if PA was just seeking pleasure because at that time, she was in between relationships. Incidentally, the second notion was often the idea that came to the mind of those who heard the story of the therapist. Coincidentally, PA has been known to swing both ways.

Enchong Dee has confirmed that he and model Samantha Lewis have broken up.

In an interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda on Tuesday, May 24, Enchong said: "Yeah, We're just friends now."

According to Enchong, he texted Sam even before he went on air to say that he would probably be asked about it. Sam told him that it was okay.

"I texted Sam, 'Sam this is going to happen, this is the topic, this is the headline.' And then she said, 'Okay lang, walang problema (No problem),'" he explained.

"I mean, ang dami na naming pinagdaanan (we've been through a lot) together and this is just one of those. But, yeah, we're just friends now," he said.

Boy Abunda said that he himself was not really comfortable about asking such questions. Enchong assured the host that he has so much respect for him, but he was just not sure how to respond without offending anyone.

When asked how he coped after the breakup, Enchong said, "I love her. Bibihira ako makahanap ng ganoong klaseng babae. (It is rare for me to find a girl like her)."

"But I think there’s just a certain point, 'di ba (isn't it), where you just [have] to say, 'Stop.'"

For now, Enchong said that he is focused on promoting his new album and doing his movie and soap.

Samantha and Enchong appeared together at the 2014 Star Magic Ball. Enchong admitted in an interview that he had a girlfriend but tried to keep Sam's identity private back then.

Julia Barretto maintains that she no longer feels pressured when she gets compared to other young actresses like Kathryn Bernardo and Liza Soberano.

“Hindi na. Actually never, I don’t want to question God’s plans for me. Kanya-kanyang paths, destiny,” she told ABS-CBN News in an interview at the sidelines of the Star Magic Games last Sunday.

“Might as well focus on your path, your dreams, tapos kapag naabot mo, masaya ka. It’s not the same for everyone. It’s very different,” she said.

Barretto is optimistic that she will also have her own time -- just like Bernardo and Soberano.

“I really don’t want to question God’s timing. Timing lang 'yan. We all have our own time. I’m just waiting for mine. There’s no need to rush. I’m glad that I’m able to learn slowly so that when I get there, I’m ready. I want to be ready,” she said.

Barretto’s last project with ABS-CBN was the afternoon series “And I Love You So,” which concluded early this year.

Her next project is another TV series where she will be working with Bea Alonzo, Iza Calzado, Ian Veneracion and Enchong Dee.

“Sobrang excited ako kasi it’s a dream to work with the people that I’m gonna be working with next, next month. I’m thankful to ABS for giving me this chance,” she said.

“When you enter [showbiz], pangarap mo lang makatrabaho sila tapos ngayon nangyayari na. I’m very thankful,” she said.

Now that her career is in full swing, Barretto said she does not mind not having a love life.

“I feel like I’m so young. I don’t want to sound cheesy but then, you’ll get to a point in your life you’ll realize you’re so young and there’s so much time to learn to love yourself more, to know yourself more, to know your worth, your value so that kapag na-meet mo na 'yung man na 'yun, ipapakita mo sa kanya na alam mo yung worth mo kaya kailangan mabigay niya iyon,” she said.

When the right time comes, would she prefer to be in a relationship with someone also from showbiz?

“Ayaw ko magsalita ng patapos pero sana non-showbiz. Pero we can’t tell naman eh,” she said

Money Was in His Heart After All

Seasoned Performer (SP) has always been in demand for engagements inside and outside of showbiz. Having SP in corporate shows means that the company could afford his fees and prefer him to any other performer. Thus, there is a certain sense of pride when a company hires SP for a show.

At a corporate event attended by various employees and officials, SP sang all out to please the audience. After all, the company is one of the biggest in its industry. The audience laughed at his spiels, clapped at his singing, and in their heads, sang-along with SP. Being very pleased, the audience began asking for more and chanted for SP to continue performing. Without hesitation, SP sang more songs. The crowd was impressed and pleased.

Once SP got off the stage, he started looking for the organizers and demanded to be paid for the extra songs he sang. Given that his contract and professional fee only covered a certain number of songs, he stated that he should be paid for performing the extra songs. After all, SP merely gave in to the needs of company employees.

The organizers were indeed shocked at the demand of SP. Lucky for SP, the organizers were not in the mood to debate nor bargains with him. Hence, they gave the payment to avoid any discussion with SP. During the evaluation of the show, the big bosses said that they wanted SP to be invited again and for him to perform in their shows. As a large manufacturing company, the company could pay for the cost.

However, the big bosses, who included top management of sister companies, changed their minds when they learned of the attitude of SP. Onstage, he was like an angel, who was ready to please the clamor of the crowd, but after the show, SP was materialistic and too talkative. Hence, instead of gaining more opportunities, SP lost a very lucrative chance, which would definitely have been more than the amount he demanded for performing the encore.

Looking at the short-term goal obviously negated any plans of the said company that would involve SP. Who knows, SP might have even be considered as a product endorser. However, with his attitude, much opportunity was lost and SP might not even be considered to perform in any show with the conglomerate again. Given that SP has been lamenting on his future with a network, he should have been wiser in dealing with the organizers.
