A talented but relatively Newbie Actor NA is getting respect for his acting skills. It is not often that showbiz gets to have stars like NA who is so comfortable and effortless in his craft. This early, he has been recognized for his talent.

But just like the others, NA was not spared of rumors about his preference. Some people say he is gay, some say he is straight. Still others say he is bisexual. But why do these people talk about his gender?

Reportedly, NA is in a relationship with one Heartthrob Actor HA who is also in the same network with him. The two have done a few acting projects in the past and kind of hit it off. Does this explain their kind of relationship that is now being questioned? It may be recalled that HA is also rumored to be the favorite among gays in showbizlandia.

But to be fair, NA has likewise expressed his crush on some female stars even hinting at his girl preferences. Yet, his rumored going out with HA somehow contradicts his pronouncements. Some observers say that NA is a magnet for intrigues like this owing to his soft features, just like an effeminate. Certainly, it will be difficult for him to wean away from such label.

Still others believe that NA's penchant for some weird habits kind of give him away, albeit they were merely tongue-in-cheek stuff, but enough to spark such rumors. Indeed, what gives? If all those gay rumors against him are to be proven to be true, does it confirm the long-held belief that showbiz industry is more and more going to be ruled by the pink power?

At any rate, observers believe that NA should just do as he pleases. In the end, he stands to gain from all their talk. Remember, people will always believe what they want - hook, line and sinker.

Somewhat Arrogant

From the very start, Television Host TH is said to have a big attitude and that being "prima donna" is not a new label thrown at her. The tag is what TH gets from people she constantly has negative brushes with.

Reportedly, once when TH was featuring an important event overseas, she displayed so much arrogance and threw her weight around, to the disgust of the others covering the big event. How TH was hated for it.

It was when she was doing a story on the election of the an important position overseas, TH reportedly wanted her story to be exclusive, as in none of those hangers on to disrupt her view. She displayed so much arrogance and wanted solo frame on the camera whenever she would do her story.

She was complaining to the guards, demanding for something as impossible as controlling the crowd, as if the guards had the magic powers to make the huge number of them disappear for TH's convenience. Talk about entitlement.

At the same event were other foreign organizations, with much bigger personalities covering the event than TH, but they never ever made any demands of such magnitude – but TH? Shouldn’t she be acting like what the Romans do, literally and figuratively?

Horror stories one after another for this TH, indeed!

At one book launching of a well-known personality, where TH was a one among the invited guests along with her husband, a Fan and her Family FF allegedly approached TH to have a photo taken with her and her husband. FF waited until the couple were finished talking to some people. When asked if FF can have a photo with them, TH did not hide how irritated she looked. Her hubby noticed the annoyance of TH, but he more than made up for it by being accommodating and even teased the FF to feel at ease and to move closer to him so everyone was covered .

Through the years, TH has been diminished by her character, when she should be growing into her job. For someone so privileged by association, shouldn’t she be more humbled by her status?

PARIS - French shoppers bared the cold and themselves as they stripped down to their underwear in a bid to win free clothes.

Spanish brand Desigual was offering a free outfit to the first 100 scantily-clad customers through its doors - as the winter sale season kicked off in France.

"Everything is really expensive here so the fact it's free is amazing. Students don't have any money," Estelle, one of the shoppers, said.

Naked or not, shoppers were out in force in Paris.

Reductions of up to 50 percent enticing cash-strapped consumers hungry for a bargain.

As the French economy stalls, and unemployment soars, demand this sale season is expected to be high.

"The economic crisis makes people savvy with their spending. That means when spending power is under pressure you can't just spend freely so people try to optimise the use of their spending power. You have people who play for time, who save, who put off necessary purchases to be able to spend during the sales," said retail analyst Philippe Moati.

There were fears that internet deals and pre-christmas promotions would take the shine off the annual rush.

But according to polls, the average shopper will spend 225 euros this year - a similar figure to 2013.

The winter sales are big business in France - and not just for customers, but retailers too.

"When the season hasn't been very good, even if the end of the year was about right for the clothing industry, but globally the tendency is for a recoil of the market, that's an important moment because you're hoping to get rid of unsold stock and maybe save the whole year," Moati said.

Sales are tightly controlled in France. The start and end dates are set by the government.

Against an increasingly gloomy economic backdrop, many see it as their one chance to splurge. Many retailers may see that as something which should perhaps be changed.
