Understanding a Brat

Showbiz can change a person overnight. From being a humble hopeful, a break, even just a small role, can magnify and transform the hopeful into a brat or difficult co-worker. Even celebrities who have good families and parents who are always present for supervision are not spared from such character change. Thus, good role models and people who can hone character are much needed these days.

Sadly, many young celebrities are growing up without the right adult supervision. Although, they can be sweetest in front of the camera or in posts in their social media, their behaviors behind the cameras matter. Imagine the pressure of growing up bereft of familial authority. Developing good-natured character can be challenging.

Considered as one of the important talents of her generation, Cranky Girl (CG) has been the subject of many entertainment stories on her personal and professional choices. Over the years, her management saw her potential to become a bankable star given her talent and looks. CG delivered and soon, critics saw her worth as well. CG was charming in front of the camera and followers thought her character was consistent.

Unfortunately, between scenes, witnesses have talked about observations that contrast the image of CG. During her project, the team has set a fixed location for most of her scenes. Although the location was a business area, the cast was accommodated and shooting went on smoothly. Fans of CG would come over to try to watch their idol or at least say ‘Hi!’ to her.

Meanwhile, the staff of the location setup were also curious at the celebrities who were now using their area. That was when they realized the difference in the way CG was in front of the public eye and behind the scenes when very few were around. Allegedly, CG was not amiable and friendly. She kept to herself and her aura was that of someone who seemed consistently irked at the slightest misalignment. By contrast, the rest of the cast and crew were friendly and would smile at them every so often.
