Secret Selves

One factor that can make or break one’s career is the admission of one’s true sexual identity. While for some, that factor is obvious, most artists will not admit that they are attracted to the same sex and even have a relationship with a fellow male or female. As the country is still considered conservative, an admission is risky. Fans seem to hold an ideal, heterosexual image of their idols. Consequently, if this image is tarnished, fans can move away and discriminatory statements coming from moralists alike might affect the popularity of a celebrity. Thus, for some, admission of their truth means the end of their careers, and keeping things quiet and denials are better options.
The dilemma of Creative Performer (CP) is such that she could/should not reveal her true nature. As one of the most important talents of a network, CP is playing according to the rules set by the management, that is, work according to the plan set for her career. CP is obedient, as she also has her goals to succeed. Such rumors of her sexuality were crushed when she and Male Talent (MT) publicly admitted they were in a relationship. The match was perfect, as both were into the craft and talented. The fans and management loved the idea that the two were inseparable.
However, all good things must come to an end. In the case of CP and MT, the end came too soon. Rumors have it that the two fell out of love, but another angle is that MT gave in to his true nature as well, that is, finding solace in having affairs with the same sex. MT allegedly felt the coldness in their relationship, which motivated him to pursue his old path. Meanwhile, CP had set her own path, too.
Allegedly, CP has her own constant affair with someone from her past. This Female Friend (FF) is her constant bedmate and source of strength, so to speak. However, their relationship is purely physical, with no strings attached. For now, CP is working on shaping her body and flaunting the results in social media. As to whether such posts are meant to attract the same sex or not, CP would, of course, not tell. For now, she is busy with her career, as far as the public image is concerned.

Inireklamo ng isang real state broker ang isang aktor ng ABS-CBN at ang kasama nitong foreigner matapos umano siyang pagtulungang bugbugin sa loob ng isang resto bar sa Quezon City, Martes ng gabi.
Kinilala ni P/Capt. Juan Mortel ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit ng Quezon City Police District ang biktima na si Pitt Norman Zafra, 35, binata, real state broker at residente ng Saint Mary St., Brgy. E. Rodriguez, Cubao, QC.
Pinaghahanap naman ng mga awtoridad ang mga nakatakas na suspek na nakilalang si JM de Guzman at kasama nitong isang foreign national.
Batay sa inisyal na imbestigasyon, dakong alas-8:45 ng gabi ng Mayo 7 naganap ang insidente sa loob ng Flying House Resto Bar na matatagpuan sa No. 10-B Malingap St., Brgy. Teachers Village West.
Batay sa mga nakasaksing kostumer sa resto bar, nakita umano nilang tumayo at pinuntahan ng foreigner na kasama ni JM ang biktima sa table nito at sa hindi malamang dahilan ay sinuntok ito sa harap ng live-in partner na nakilalang si Madel Bermudez.
Sumunod na lumapit ang aktor sa table ng biktima subalit sa halip na awatin ang kaniyang kasamang foreigner ay sinipa pa umano nito sa likuran si Zafra at pagkatapos ay sabay na lumabas ng resto bar ang dalawa.
Dinala naman ni Bermudez ang biktima sa East Avenue Medical Center upang ipagamot ang mga tinamo nitong mga sugat at pasa sa katawan.
Hinahanting pa ng mga awtoridad ang tumakas na aktor at ang kasamang foreigner habang iniimbestigahan kung ano ang sanhi nang pambubugbog ng mga ito sa real state broker.
Nabatid na si De Guzman o Juan Miguel Gob de Guzman sa tunay na buhay, ay isang mixed martial artist, model at singer at exclusive talent ng Star Magic.

Choosing Honesty

The on-off relationship of Gutsy Talent (GT) and Male Figure (MF) made their followers believe that something was happening between them beyond the friendship that they showed on and off cam. Seeing GT and MF together excited fans who saw their chemistry together and the management realized the potential of the two for projects. While MF tried to be professional, GT had a different agenda in mind.
As MF is appealing, it did not take long for GT to nurture his soft spot. Eventually, they became cozy and comfortable in their private moments, which have been often denied when the two are confronted about the status of their relationship. At first, MF was enjoying their moments, as GT would initialize their intimacy. However, MF soon realized that GT was putting her heart at stake, which he was not at all ready to be responsible for.
Nonetheless, MF played along for the sake of their careers and friendship. Whenever they would travel with friends, GT would book a room for them with two beds, so it would not be too obvious. Amidst the scenery, their encounters would happen. Realizing the monotony of their overseas travels, MF would end up disappointed with the attitude of GT, who only wants to stay in bed with him and forego the sights of the location. Even if MF would like to explore the area, GT would prefer to have him stay in bed with her. Allegedly, MF thought that GT might be a bit sick, as she only wants to do it most of the time.
MF realized that things were not to his liking and so he started to keep his distance from GT. When GT sensed such coldness from MF, she would resort to social media to air certain gripes, which are sometimes interpreted by fans. As the cycle went on, MF started to realize that he seems to have been caught in a web that trapped his career with GT. In short, he felt he was being used to spice up her career and social media.
Soon enough, MF risked everything by doing a no-no in the entertainment industry. He revealed his personal life, which did not have any signs of GT in the picture. That move put a stop to whatever plan GT had in mind. For now, their reel and real partnership is over, and MF seems to have no plans of even becoming friends with GT.
