Feeling Arrogant

When Talented Personality (TP) and Attractive Actress (AA) became an item, the talk was about how he had the guts to face her knowing about her interesting past. Talks centered around him wanting a share of her money and reputation. However, looking at the background of TP, money was the least of his concerns. What could have made them gravitate toward each other is the passion for acting.
Over the years, TP and AA grew in their acting career. AA started to take on various roles in several teleseryes. Her controversial past was forgotten and showbiz was kind to her. Similarly, TP continued to work on his various talents. He did break many hearts when he admitted his love for AA.
When the two are together, the public sees a power couple. Together, TP and AA evoke a sense of class and of high living despite working in the local entertainment industry, which is often looked down upon by the higher society. Nonetheless, the two loved their career and the breaks kept coming. In public, they do project a certain simplicity and an impression of humility.
However, when TP and AA return to their private routine, their non-showbiz circle is often surprised by the attitude of the two. It seems that TP and AA indeed look down at people who are not within their social class. Even in gatherings, the two would sometimes ignore and refuse to talk to people with whom they are expected to interact. As staunch believers in faith, people are surprised why the two have such attitude. Snubbing is common, but, of course, the two would not dare such in public. One time, they decided to put up a show, but failed in getting support from their friends, who knew the truth behind their smiles.

Sa Cebu City na naka-base ngayon ang aktor na si Baron Geisler. Ayon sa kanya nang makausap namin siya sa telepono, isang taon na rin siyang nasa Cebu at doon nagnenegosyo.
Sa Cebu na rin nakilala ni Baron ang girlfriend na si Jamie Marie Evangelista na balak na rin niyang pakasalan anytime soon.
“Tapos na kami sa engagement part. Three months ago pa yon,” balita niya sa amin.
Naging opisyal daw ang relasyon nila ni Jamie noong September 2018 kaya bale eight months na silang mag-on.
Kuwento pa ni Baron sa PUSH tungkol sa girlfriend niya, “Psychologist si Jamie. She works sa rehab, freelance psycho therapist siya. She teaches college students also. Kinukuha siya ng mga rehab center para tumulong sa mga addict at alcoholic.”
Ibinahagi rin ni Baron sa amin kung ano ang mga nagustuhan niya sa girlfriend.
“She’s very patient sa akin. Alam niya kung paano ako templahin. Super happy ako kasi maalaga siya.
“When I had nothing, wala pa yung barber shop ko, nung walang-wala ako she supported me. Kasi ang buong pag-aakala ko wala na akong babalikan sa showbiz, kaya nagtayo na lang ako ng business,” sambit pa niya.
Isang barber shop ang itinayo ni Baron sa Cebu – ang Gents Barber – na matatagpuan sa 2nd level ng Gaisano Country Mall.
“Ginamit kong puhunan yung konti kong namana at ibinenta ko yung Fortuner ko para makapagsimula. Kakabukas lang nung barber shop ko and so far it’s doing good naman,” pagmamalaki pa ng aktor.
Eh, bakit nga ba nagdesisyon na siyang magpakasal?
“Pagod na ako sa laro, sa pag-party. Gusto ko na ring magkaroon ng sariling pamilya,” sagot niya sa aming tanong.
Kelan naman ang kasal nila ni Jamie?
“Pinaplano na namin yung tungkol diyan, pero wala pang date. May mga kailangan kaming bayaran, and then, baka it’s either next year or sooner. Bahala na si God, but we want it as much as possible.
“Ang sa akin kasi, ayokong mag-premarital sex, we want to do it right,” rason pa niya.
Nagkaroon na ng comeback sa pag-arte si Baron at mapapanood nang muli sa TV bilang Dante sa Ang Probinsyano.
