Usually, when celebrities go to malls or other public places, they try to go incognito and others even go to the extreme of walking around in disguise. On the one hand, some celebrities walk around with bodyguards and thus call attention to themselves. On the other hand, other celebrities are just being themselves and walk around malls with no makeup.
Most often, the presence of celebrities would cause heads to turn and even stalking for some. The most common reaction is to ask for a selfie from such celebrity and risk the embarrassment of getting turned down. Others can ignore fan requests and walk away.
In the case of Lady Singer (LS), mallgoers were surprised at her attitude. LS was spotted walking with a friend in a mall. Looking simple in her jeans and shirt, LS and her friend chose to dine in a small restaurant. The moment they entered, they were led to a cramped table, as the place was already full. LS and her fried sat down, looked at the menu, and ordered a few dishes after a few minutes.
Customers would glance at LS and her friend who enjoyed their meal. Even the waiters were subtly looking over their table. As LS and her friend were almost done, a fan bravely approached their table and asked if she could have a photo with LS. Not only did LS oblige, her friend took the photo himself. When the fan left, LS and her friend resumed their eating.
When she was done eating, LS stepped out of the restaurant and stretched her legs. At this point, the staff came over and asked if they could have a photo with her. While most celebrities would deny such request, LS gamely posed for photos. Instead of having one group photo, LS posed with each one without a fuss. She kept her smile and the staff felt she was sincere. They were very pleased with the openness of LS despite her being a big-name celebrity. She was cool and did not even show any diva-like attitude.
While LS has been bombarded with stories about her questionable attitude, that moment indicated that she was not like the diva that such stories pictured her to be. Not only did LS win over the staff, she also managed to capture the attention of other customers because of her positive attitude toward ordinary people.
