Actor Husband (AH) and Actress Wife (AW) both started in showbiz at a time when the industry needed fresh faces to be built up as teen stars. At that time, AH was not interested in AW, who was busy with building her career as a top dramatic teen actress. Years passed and circumstances allowed them to meet and fall in love with each other. AH and AW eventually had kids and the public started admiring them and praising the couple for such a lovely family.
This positive perception of their family was key to several endorsements, which added to the family income. While the kids seem to be uninterested in pursuing showbiz careers, they still manage to gain attention and admiration, as AH and AW have slowly introduced them to the public via endorsements and social media posts.
With everything seemingly perfect, their friends cannot understand why they often ask for referrals for a driver. Something smelled fishy given that no driver has lasted long with the family. Allegedly, AH and AW are the least ideal employers when it comes to treating their drivers. Imagine the daily grind of having to drive the kids to school early in the morning, then return to the house to pick up and drop off AH, and return again to get AW and bring her to work. By that time, the driver would then have to pick up the kids from school, and then AH and then AW.
As if the driving were not enough, the poor driver has no meal allowance and only gets whatever lunchpack the helpers send him. There is no time to rest as well because there are errands between trips. Give the traffic, the driver gets a piece of AH’s mind when he is picked up a bit late. Of course, one could probably last a bit longer if compensation were fair. Unfortunately, the salary does not match the effort the driver has to exert just to please AH and AW.
Just how bad is the reputation of AH and AW when it comes to treating help? Well, the agency has refused to send drivers and their friends change topics whenever they ask for assistance in finding a new driver. Perhaps, AH and AW should reflect on how they are treating common helpers. They are too blessed to become inconsiderate unkind.
