    1. Nakita mo ba yung total? Mas marami yung medals natin overall kaya lang mas marami yung gold nila. So bat nakakaawa?

    4. Hence, we showed our neighboring countries that we can't be belittled. We fought FAIR AND SQUARE. That's what matters and we have a lot of potential. MAS MARAMI PARING MEDALS ANG PINAS SA SG. 2 GOLD MEDALS LANG LAMANG.

    1. the ranking only glorifies gold medals. philippines is actually 4th if totals medals including silver and bronze. Its a good achievement. all podium finish should be celebrated.

    2. ganyan naman talaga kahit saan even sa Olympics at sa World Cup, yes podium finish ang bronze na nakapadami ng medals but no athlete plays to win a bronze, gold naman talaga ang goal. Yes okay na marami tayong medals but it also shows na kailangan pa talaga nating taasan ang standards at hindi makuntento na hanggang bronze na lang.

    3. Of course that is the goal. Gold is the highest achievement. But does that mean that we get to invalidate their success? From what I heard, there was a lot of cheating in this SEA games. The fact that our representatives still finished 3rd in some of the events is worth celebrating. But it is what it is. Wala na tayong magagawa. We should still give them their flowers because they deserve it. They worked hard for it. So pag bronze ba, di na natin i-recognize?

  4. Whats wrong with 6th?

    1. Sorry I will gave to disagree. Yung ganyang thinking is why yung funding bunubuhos sa basketball and other sports are underfunded. If napondohan mas maraming sports from the grassroots level, sure mas marami tayong medal and mas mataas na rank.

    2. totoo yan, kaya ang hirap maging competitive ng Pilipinas sa sports kasi masyadong naka focus sa basketball when we can excel in so many other sports.

  7. 4th place, if based on the total number of medals.

  10. We are actually at the bottom of those who make the effort to send delegates. What I notice is when the going gets tough we usually lose. We are usually there, just not at the top. I do believe we can still improve on the standings. Sana maanalyze at maayos ng PH Sports committee for the right training.
