Valid Reason Not to Keep Him

When one acts on something even though such action is perceived wrong, it becomes a habit if repeated. The habit worsens because the doer gains more courage when he/she is not caught every time. As always, the cliché, ‘old habits never die,’ will continue as long as the culprit is not caught. Thus, lies can be transformed into denials, and doubts can be used as blackmail on trust issues.

Cheating in a relationship can come in many forms. In current society, the line becomes muddled because of social media. Some argue that cheating has to have physical contact, whereas others think that cheating can occur in the intellectual and/or virtual realm. Regardless of the definition of cheating, Well-loved Celebrity (WC) is in a quandary over breaking up or not with Startling Personality (SP).

Over the years of exposure in the media, WC has developed a reputation for clean living, which is needed in her profession. Thus, she is seen as a positive role model for hopeful youths, and potential endorser of various wholesome products. As WC and SP admitted their relationship, people admired their commitment to each other despite working hard to make sure they stay one top. However, one major blunder on the part of SP might soon wreck the beautiful partnership they have.

Immediately after the blunder was revealed, family, friends, and fans bombarded WC with accusations that SP has cheated on her and that she does not deserve someone like him. Worse, other transgressions of SP started to emerge, which relegated the blunder to the backseat. Alleged making out with fans, one night stands, and even a tryst with a teammate soon surfaced. The stories were too much to bear, and the family of WC told her to distance herself from SP. After all, her reputation could be dragged down if she opts to stay with him. However, WC is in love, and thus, any decision would have to be thought out well.

Meanwhile, despite damage control, a couple of endorsements have allegedly backed out of the idea of getting SP endorse their brand. Endorsement contracts can sometimes have clauses that require the endorser to have an unblemished name as long as the contract is live. Endorsers are expected to avoid engaging in any scandalous activity and must maintain a moral reputation. Thus, rather than be sued, the camp of SP is planning on revoking his contract and paying the compensation.

With all the shenanigans between them, WC has allegedly stopped talking with SP, and is seriously considering breaking up with him. Will the breakup happen anytime soon? Wait and see.
