On Purpose or a Miscue?

In a number with a female entertainer (FE), a female singer (FS) went ahead of her entrance cue. The original cue was for FS to step out only when it was her turn for the duet, which was about a minute after the part of FE. FE had to establish her moment first. 

However, FS showed herself just as FE was only about to begin her song. As fans were already screaming, the lights had to brighten more to accommodate both of them. Focus then shifted to FS even if FE was still singing. 

As to why FS came out too early, she probably did not want to miss a thing unless she did it on purpose just to remind everyone who the true concert princess is from the very start.

Cruel in Real Life

As is common knowledge in showbiz - screen villains are mostly good and nice people in real life. Well, it holds true to some extent. But not to this senior actress (SA) who's reel persona isn't that far from the real one.

SA is a regular customer of a big garden shop in an upscale community. She would drop by there regularly to buy some plants for her garden needs. She's a hard bargainer, too. In fact, her bargaining stance is always coupled with brash treatment she gives people who attend to her at the shop.

The staff/gardeners at the shop are already used to her not-so-pleasant treatment of them, as if they were her own househelp. She would demand arrogantly how she would want her plants handled, as if the trained staff are ignorant on what to do.

In one of her visits, a familiar man at the shop volunteered to attend to her...for the first time. And as expected, SA was her usual annoying self, throwing her weight around. Luck must be smiling on her as the guy remained obedient and unaffected, or was he just blessed with the patience?

But hold on. SA's comeuppance would come a little later. As the guy was carrying her goods to her waiting vehicle, she ordered him in an abrupt tone, "Hurry up! Watch out, do not ruin my plants!"

The poor guy dutifully obeyed. At which instance, SA asked him, "Hey, what's your name and what do you do here?" The maligned guy, softly answered, " I own this shop, Madam."

The host/actress/singer (HAS) staged her own scene upon her arrival at the backstage of an event. Immediately, she demanded the make-up artist, hair stylist, etc. attend to her. Then, she instructed her PA to get her hand lotion. The onlookers were stunned when the PA applied and rubbed the lotion on the arms of HAS as if on cue. Some of them said it was as though HAS had no hands to do such a task herself.

Did she lose track of time such that she was in a hurried behavior that day? Or was she stressed out as she might have already discovered the questionable photos of her boyfriend?

HAS is well-loved on camera because of her talent and wit. Her candid response sometime ago unwittingly fanned the flames of a controversy. That was a rare moment as she was at a loss for words when the audience and the other hosts laughed at what she said.

Another blunder to the saying not to judge a book by it's pretty cover. A good-looking showbiz reporter (SR) from a major network is an example. This lady's public demeanor was a big let-down.

She was just done covering a contract-signing event of a big management agency. As she headed out with her crew, while waiting for her turn at the elevator, she seemed to be calling attention to herself by talking a lot to a gay companion about everything gossip.

While already inside that packed elevator, people thought she'd calm down and zip her mouth. But that wasn't so. For she continued her gossip, this time gloatingly. The topic? The most-talked about Girlfriend in town. As if bragging to one and all the latest update that time -- about how this certain office strongly admonished GF's manager for granting too much media interviews concerning her relationship.

Contradicting her sophisticated facade, SR's déclassé demeanor drew a lot of sneers from elevator passengers.

Not the Greatest of All Time

Radio Personality (RP) met Stunning Actress (SA) twice and got two different reactions from her. In the first incident, SA smiled at RP as he was stepping out of his mini-cooper. RP approached SA and took advantage of the opportunity to chat with her. RP has a reputation of being a smooth talker so it was easy for him to converse with her. They talked for about 20 minutes. SA even said she listened to his show.

The second incident happened a few days later when RP saw SA again. This time, RP was in his Honda Civic. He pulled over near SA, got down, and said hello to her. SA looked at him from head to foot with no expression. Then, SA walked away. RP was stunned at the attitude of SA. A few days ago, she was so gracious but now, she did not even recognize him.

Other than dabbling in radio with two other jocks, RP has modelled for certain advocacies. SA is known for her behavior in public, which some people attribute to her attempts at being accepted in the social circle. Incidentally, her partner and RP have something in common (and this has nothing to do with cars).

Is it true that the head of a talent agency got arrested for not paying employee dues to a government agency? According to a source, the head posted bail to avoid spending the weekend in jail. The family also wanted to keep the event a secret and not have the press prying into what transpired. The said agency is still active and handles the career of a few talents, including some relatives.

This story comes as a wonder because apparently the political connections of the head did not stop the court from serving the warrant. Hopefully, the head can clear and hurdle this legal battle without expending too much energy.

She's Popularly Stingy

Sometime ago, this once immensely popular celebrity couple, (girl GC and boy BC), now separated, put up for sale their conjugal home in a subdivision somewhere in the south. Another couple, movie director/producer, known for true-to-life, sensational movies offered to buy the mansion for close to P40M.

Transaction was done quick. BC was unbelievably over-generous, didn't take a cent from the proceeds of the sale, and gave everything to GC and their kids.

The very lucky GC, whose star had already dimmed for years, not only pocketed the big pot. Known in the industry as very stingy even during her heydey, GC also sold most of their appliances, including the personal belongings of BC, from his shoes to his undergarments (even those that were too old to be sold).

BC's career also dimmed for a while, but is now so back having projects left and right - big thanks to his new management. Which could probably explain why he chose not to dip his fingers anymore from the sale of their property.

Out in the Open

These photos of a gay performer (GF) with a basketball player (BP) are making rounds in the net. GF is known for supporting the team of BP. In fact, GF was often seen rooting for BP's team last year.

These photos show GF with the family members of BP. Rumors have it that GF and BP share something special. Perhaps, GF can be really extra-friendly to people and behave in the exact opposite of the stories about him being so unlikeable. BP might even be enjoying the attention given by GF. Hopefully, they are happy together with each one getting what he wants from the other.

Gracious Exit

For the past weeks, the media was having a blast in airing the sides of Female DJ 1 (DJ1) and Female DJ 2 (DJ2) regarding the latter's leaving their morning show. DJ2 hinted that she was removed from the show because DJ1 told the management she could not work with her anymore. Then media played up statements like DJ1 was power-tripping because of her recent status as the constant date of this powerful man. While everyone hoped DJ1 would just keep quiet, she behaved otherwise. DJ1 answered publicly the allegations of DJ2 several times. Even the other co-hosts got into the fray as they actually discussed on air what happened to the relationship of the two DJs and the management.

DJ1 finally made a decision that caught everyone unguarded. She filed her resignation early this week. She said she suffered from emotional distress over the last few months and that she realized she could not handle the format of the show anymore. Lately, listeners were more interested in finding out more about her love life. However, speculations have it that some higher-ups from the riverside advised her camp to avoid making comments regarding the issue.

Later this week, DJ1 will say her farewell to their listeners, ending the good times she shared with the people and listeners of the show.

Incidentally, in relation to the Unhealthy Rivalry story posted last February 22, other sources say that the reason why management had to let go of DJ2 was that she had allegedly gotten into a tiff not just with DJ1 but also with other members of the station.

The Menace of a Manager-Lover Scorned

The prolific talent manager (PM) fell in love with this drama hunk (H) at first sight. PM took charge of the career of H and immediately brought him to a network and a film producer. With the persistence of PM, H got his share of good projects, endorsements, and awards. H was elevated to leading man status in no time. Meanwhile, PM showered H with special attention and extra care. H, in turn, noticed how much PM cared for him and he reciprocated.

In one out of town trip, H gave PM what he wanted. After spending the night with H, PM felt more in love with his talent. Then, he forbade H to have any off-cam involvement with women for the sake of his career. Away from the public, PM would confront any actress linked to H. It came to a point that PM asked H to choose between a sexy actress (SA) or his career. PM even hired a reporter to do the demolition job on an ex-lover of H. Despite these failed relationships, H is a ladies’ man. Within weeks after ending a relationship, H is already dating or is into a relationship with another woman. His latest companion (LC), shown in the photos, comes from the network’s reliable talents.

It seems that H is enjoying the company of LC even if both of them give ambiguous answers when asked about their relationship. Now, will PM allow this relationship to continue? What will happen to the love of PM for H? Will PM let go and take the role of the martyr-lover? Or, will PM give in to the fury of the scorned lover? Let us wait and see.

The sexy actress was quite demanding and choosy in the clothes she was going to wear in the show. When her scene was over, she asked for a new set of clothes and returned the clothes she had used. The assistants noticed a fishy smell pervading in the air.

Eventually, they realized that the source of the indescribable odor was from the set of clothes that the sexy actress had just returned. It must have been a very bad red letter day for the sexy actress, they concluded.

Exposing Unsportsmanlike Conduct

While most universities are having difficulties finding sponsors for their sports programs, this team from a university has found a solution to this problem. The team consists of A (primary team) and B (secondary team and pool for A). Most players coming from B are encouraged by the coaching staff to have gay sponsors (GS) in exchange for more playing time and possible inclusion in A. The GS and the B players are then invited to dinner, where negotiations happen.

The GS are allowed to watch during practices for a fee ranging from 2 to 3k. If the amount cannot be raised, the coaching staff will throw out the GS from the gym. If the GS is very generous, the coaching staff gets freebies and even a monthly allowance.

The coaching staff actually encourages this culture of having a GS. Rather than provide the allowance for the players, the staff will look for a GS instead. The players coming from the provinces have no idea of such a practice so most of them get shocked when they learn that they have to go beyond sports as well.
