As the season of breakups ushered the Yuletide, the gossip mill has been generous in producing various reasons to explain why couples have opted to separate. Keeping quiet has been the norm until one party intentionally or not hints that the separation rumor is true. However, for one of these couples rumored to have gone their separate ways, silence is loud.

The silence is loud enough for rumors that could shock the public. So far, neither Male Half (MH) nor Female Half (FH) has publicly made a statement to confirm nor deny the status of their relationship. Many fans still hope that the rumor is false as MH and FH have amassed a following throughout the years. Those fans have followed the ups and downs of their relationship and look forward to their posting of their adventures as well as sweet moments.

While MH seems to be pinpointed as the one who has caused the breakup by the rumor mill, a story that is making the rounds is the other way around, that is, FH might have discovered something about herself. One surprising story in the grapevine is the possibility that FH might have fallen out of love despite the length of time she and MH have been together.

Allegedly FH has shifted her attention to a Third Party (TP), who could have unleashed certain feelings and the need for something new. As FH kept her supposed relationship with TP a secret, someone close to the camp of MH got wind of what FH was hiding. Everyone thought fidelity was thriving in her relationship with MH, but apparently, it could only be for show. Incidentally, TP is of the same persuasion as FH, which made the detection even more shocking.

Demanding Actress

Network Actress (NA) can be considered lucky. She was chosen to soar by breathing life into a most coveted role. From an unknown lingering in the talent pool, NA became a household name. The iconic project and her appearance were awaited. Together with NA’s becoming the chosen one was the emergence of before and after photos, which eventually died down. Regardless of intrigues, the endorsements came her way until her true self emerged.

Fresh off, NA has been officially dropped by prestigious Medical Services (MS) due to her inconsiderate and ethically questionable demands. MS usually enjoys amiable relationships with clients and endorsers, and serves them with the expertise of highly competent professionals. However, NA seems to have, short of, abused this relationship.

MS has gained a reputation of trustworthy services over the years and clients have expressed high satisfaction for the results. Moreover, the public has witnessed and praised the results of such services. NA has benefitted from the quality services of MS but her attitude has ended their relationship officially.

Apparently, whenever NA wants a treatment, such as having nose fillers, etc…, she demands the medical personnel to do so. However, MS carefully evaluates if the request is feasible. The problem starts when clients, like NA, avail of the services of another clinic to fulfill their wish that was deemed unreasonable by MS. Then, when an infection occurs, they return to MS to fix the new problem. In the case of NA, MS refused to touch the infected treatment, which the team did not do in the first place. Medical ethics and professionalism are prioritized by MS, of course.

Unfortunately, this reality happens in the medical field. Later on, former endorsers like NA, would eventually move over to another clinic. What the public does not know is that endorsers who are no longer connected with MS are often the ones whose contracts were no longer renewed for various reasons.

Experienced Actress (EA) has an extensive range of life’s rewards and challenges. When she started her career, she was packaged to change the course of the cinema. She was young, fresh, and attractive. Banking on her assets, EA’s projects proved to be box-office winners and critics noticed her from the beginning. EA then proceeded to establish a career that was indeed admirable.

As she was becoming popular, EA became the apple of the eye of several personalities. Subsequently, EA fell in love and gave birth to kids, who eventually ended in the same business as well. EA, however, was someone who found love as fast as the heartaches it gave her. After a breakup, EA often bounced back with a new man in record time.

Settling down enabled EA to gain familiarity with various areas of the country. As she has a famous face, locals immediately recognized her wherever she went. Unfortunately, one area she frequented shocked residents. EA was spotted too often at an alleged gambling area. The talk was that EA was a regular and losing huge amounts of money on the gaming table was not an issue with her.

The question is if EA has changed for the better these days and has shrugged off her expensive habit. Unlike then, EA now has work and is visible in the showbiz arena.

Female Talent (FT) has been in the entertainment industry for quite a while. Sadly, unlike her contemporaries, FT has yet to make a major impact in her career. She started with a lot of promise as she was considered a fresh face, and was able to attract the attention of viewers by playing mostly supporting roles. However, FT was unable to extract her acting skills nor sustain the following needed to become a household name. Still, FT was a familiar face given that her showbiz circles comprised popular and named celebrities.

Meanwhile, Non-showbiz Businessman (NB), although having showbiz connections, values his privacy despite being dragged in controversies once in a while. NB can be considered influential given his connections in the business arena. His business interests are considered prime and significant.

At the moment FT and NB are assumed to be single, as they have not been publicly linked with other people. However, keen netizens have been noticing the frequent appearance of Female Talent (FT) in photos involving NB. FT was spotted in photos showing private, family and friend gatherings of NB. Thus, netizens wondered if the two are already an item given that they were always next to each other.

Another Devastating Breakup Between 2 Known Personalities

Has trouble hit paradise? The grapevine is abuzz with rumors that the relationship of Dashing Personality (DP) and Kindred Beauty (KB) is rocky. DP and KB have been together for quite a time. Their relationship on and off the camera has delighted the public and their management. In addition, DP and KB have enticed the creative department of various production companies to come up with fresh and innovative ideas for their projects. Hence, their reel relationship is well taken care of. Their families and friends have shown support for them to end up with each other. Thus, their reel and real relationship is perfect.

Although the two have undergone several trials, as DP cannot seem to shake off his bachelor image, he and KB have matured and patiently built on what they have. The two have made plans for their future together. However, their forever is becoming cloudy as KB allegedly learned that DP did something someone in a committed relationship should not have done. KB found out DP might have been unfaithful for a moment.

Apparently, KB obtained information that DP spent special time with Always Bubbly young actress (AB). Despite both DP and AB being committed to their respective partners, the two supposedly rendezvoused. No secret can be kept forever and the incident reached KB. AB is not new to controversy and like KB and DP, she has invested much of her years into establishing a career in the entertainment industry and social media.

Despite the rumors, the social media accounts of DP and KB have yet to show signs that a storm has hit the couple’s relationship and their paradise has become a dream.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa is an artist that needs no introduction. Soon, all eyes were on the 25-year-old star, and she proved not long after that her talents went beyond making TikTok videos.

In 2021, Bella released her first single called “Build a Bitch.” It became a global success, with its music video getting nearly 400 million views. This is no surprise, as the song is catchy, fresh, and calls out the unrealistic standards that women are told they must live up to. It’s clear that Bella uses her music not only to entertain, but also to go against problematic ideologies in today’s society.

Saweetie

From uploading a now-viral freestyle video on Instagram to creating countless hit songs like “ICY GRL,” “High Maintenance,” and “My Type,” Saweetie is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with.

Outside of music, she released an ICY jewelry line and collaborated with UK-based fashion retailer PrettyLittleThings for her very own collection. Hard work and independence have obviously always been in Saweetie’s blood, something that her Filipino-American family taught her at an early age. She’s proof that working for what you want pays off, and we are here for it!

Much like Bella Poarch, this Gen-Z artist blew up on TikTok after sharing her hit song “abcdefu” on the platform. Since then, she’s been receiving much deserved attention and acclaim, whether it’s being part of Billboard’s 21 under 21: The Ones To Watch or being a guest performer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

GAYLE recently released her debut EP “a study of the human experience volume one,” which touches on her insecurities, desires, and raw emotions. Her relatable and nuanced songs embrace vulnerability, while also empowering others to be unapologetic about their feelings.

Avril Lavigne

Rounding up this list is none other than pop-punk princess Avril Lavigne. The multi-platinum singer recently released her highly anticipated album “Love Sux,” sending fans into a frenzy. The album was well received, with a number of critics praising Avril for sticking to her nostalgic pop-punk sound while making sure it’s current and in the now.

Avril is set to go on her Bite Me 2022 Canada Tour this coming May, and will be part of several concerts and music festivals for the rest of the year. Show Actor 1 (SA1) was so impressed with Show Actor 2 (SA2) that she said if they weren’t wearing the mandated masks and shields, she would sniff him. SA2 was flattered.

As their work progressed, SA1 realized her initial assumption was turning into a nightmare. There was something she could smell when doing scenes with SA2. SA1 thought the smell could be the result of stress or an internal body problem. However, her dilemma was how to let SA2 know without offending.

SA1 asked Show Actor 3 (SA3) if she noticed something during her scenes with SA2. SA3 admitted there was something in the air but it was tolerable. Nonetheless, the two planned on letting SA2 know that they were uncomfortable without making him embarrassed.

During their break, SA1 and SA3 talked about oral hygiene within hearing distance of SA2. The two talked about their hygiene routine before coming to the set. They agreed on brushing and gargling prior to facing their co-actors. One of them suddenly turned to SA2 and asked his opinion on good oral hygiene among actors. SA2 replied that having undesirable hygiene is irresponsible and insensitive. Then, SA3 asked about his mouthwash brand. SA2 said the brand and vouched for its effectiveness.

The following day, SA1 and SA3 noted that something changed with SA2. He was smelling fresh and desirable. The suspicious smell was no longer around. SA1 and SA3 smiled in triumph and the shoot proceeded smoothly.

With the showbiz market getting smaller for talents, scrutinizing new co-workers happens. When Loyal Talent (LT) found out details on Newcomer (NC), she was shocked. Despite the effects of the pandemic and other issues, NC was bound to be compensated way more than LT.

LT asked her talent friends if they learned about the move of the management on NC. Her friends were speechless at how little they were earning compared to NC’s package. Fueled with feelings of injustice, LT talked to producers and managers to raise her concern. However, they defended the bosses. New faces always generate interest and create a fresh environment for every production. LT explained that if awards were the consideration, she has her recognition from prestigious organizations. If low ratings were the concern, then that is the issue of the marketing department and not of the talents. LT emphasized the need to uplift the morale of the loyal artists first before opening up to other talents, who may or may not deliver expectations.

When the top bosses heard about LT’s issue, the reply was that no one is indispensable (except for an elite few) and the unhappy ones can explore other options.

Creeping Insecurity

Once among top contenders, the pressure is to rise above the rest or maintain the position. When fame and fortune are involved, as well as new entries coming in, competition for the top position can be very stressful. Such was the realization of Top Contender (TC).

As soon as TC and the team noticed that her position was being threatened by a new Resourceful Maker (RM), they had to reassess their vision. The team assessed the strategy of RM and the ways she managed to catch up with the top players in a short time. They realized that the strategy of RM had been done before by TC and her team, except for an idea that could stir up her family. Thus, they embarked on reaching out to popular figures. The plan worked, but seemed to lack something that RM had. The team suggested doing a deed that would touch the hearts of the supporters. Allegedly, although RM is helping out, the profits are still comfortable.

A Member (AM) suggested doing what RM does but with a twist so their work would not look like a copycat. They could level up what RM is doing. Unfortunately, TC does not want to spend too much. TC fumed and lashed out at AM, who seemed to have defended RM. TC said that the team was hired and paid to raise fresh ideas, not recycled ones. TC added that she finds the work of RM tacky and too scripted. Hence, TC decided to drop the idea of cloning what RM has done. Later, AM received a text indicating his services are no longer needed.

Who is David Chua and Why is He Being Linked to Kelley Day?

 

During last week’s sendoff press conference for Kelley Day, the country’s official representative to the forthcoming Miss Eco International 2021 pageant (to be held in Egypt on April 4), tongues were wagging when one of the special guests, actor/producer/director David Chua dropped by the venue to wish her luck. 

Many were wondering if David is courting Kelley, who openly admitted that she had broken up with her non-showbiz boyfriend last year.

However, as Kelley and David’s manager Arnold Vegafria pointed out, the couple’s closeness may just be an offshoot of their getting-to-know-you phase before they start buckling down to work on their forthcoming movie and TV suspense thriller project, which also stars world-class actor Raymond Bagatsing.

Despite being linked to the Kapuso actress-turned-pageant queen, David just shrugs off the intrigues. After all, he isn’t exactly a stranger to showbiz and the gossip mill.

Prior to his showbiz career, David was a Fine Arts student at the UST, where he was discovered via Mr. and Ms. Ideal Thomasian, the campus-based personality pageant (2006-2007). This led to modeling stints, where he became a staple in high-profile fashion shows and print ads.

The "accidental celebrity" was thrust into the showbiz limelight in 2008, when he was cast in ABS-CBN’s ‘My Girl,’ the Kim Chiu-Gerald Anderson starrer, where he played the twin brother of Alex Gonzaga and Kim’s close friend.

During his 10-year tenure with Star Magic, he appeared in over 30 teleseryes, including Imortal (2010), Saturday Night Chills (2013), and Love Thy Woman (2019), his most recent project. He won Best Supporting Actor in the Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival 2013, where he played the role of a gambling lord in Saturday Night Chills.

He may have started off doing drama roles, but David finds more challenge in character and kontrabida roles. His role models include local celebs Christopher de Leon, Joel Torre, Bembol Roco, John Arcilla, Albert Martinez, Tirso Cruz III, Eula Valdes, Maricel Soriano, Sylvia Sanchez; and Hollywood A-listers including Clint Eastwood, Leonardo diCaprio, Joaquin Phoenix, Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman and Viola Davis. He also admires Korean actors Kang-Ho Song, Gong Yoo, and Ko Kyu-Pil.

When not busy with his showbiz commitments, goes full blast with his athletic pursuits, including biking, mountain climbing, swimming, boxing and running, especially while listening to his favorite rock groups like Bon Jovi, Phil Collins, Led Zeppelin, The Script, Guns and Roses and Maroon 5.

David always falls back on his painting to balance out his high-adrenaline pursuits. He idolizes local artists Ronald Ventura and Ben Cabrera, and dreams of mounting his own exhibit soon.

Because of his extensive acting experience, David has taken a keen interest in taking creative control over his acting medium, and seems equally as interested in working behind the camera as producer and director. 

“It’s high time we move away from clichéd storylines,” David asserts. “There are so many genres worth reinventing, and the same goes for staid, one-dimensional characters who are so painfully predictable.” 

Fortunately, David was able to lay down his blueprint for a TV and movie project, and was feels equally lucky to have gotten his manager’s nod to enlist Kelley and Raymond Bagatsing for his pilot project.

“It’s a great honor to work with kuya Raymond, who is definitely one of our A-listers and a globally-acclaimed actor, whose depth and intensity are just so unreal. Kelley is just as promising. Hers is a fresh face that definitely deserves to be a fixture in teleseryes and movies, because she’s got a vast reservoir of talent waiting to be unleashed.”

Over the past months, showbiz fans witnessed the moment of talents as a direct effect of the pandemic and other issues. The talents who moved cannot be blamed given that they were presented with lucrative offers and opportunities for career growth. Most talents who transferred needed the financial gains or visibility of their new station. Those who stayed put were lucky to be given work and thus merely took advantage of what was presented to them. Still, others opted for loyalty more than anything else and they remained optimistic that they will be given assignments soon.

Meanwhile, talents who made the move are realizing that the grass is not greener on the other side. Their efforts were futile in drawing viewership and advertisers. In a snap, things changed and the real picture was clear. Regardless of previous reputation in gaining fans, many talents were proven wrong. Despite good intentions for an industry that has been severely affected by the pandemic, the bottom line is still the return on investment. With expectations on viewership and advertising not met, heads started to roll.

The grapevine is abuzz that another program will soon be on the chopping block. Apparently, a program can be terminated any time if it does not generate revenue and the production will not have any liability. Hence, the talents and the team need to be on top of their game. The said program comprises talents who made the move despite having roots at where they left. Competition in the slot is tough and only the show that catches and sustains the audience dominates.

Surprise Me

Whenever Versatile Actress (VA) and Resourceful Beau (RB) go on break, rumors of who pays for the trip reach the grapevine. Allegedly, VA usually foots the bill, as she does earn more than RB and has a stable career. VA already anticipates something to happen, and thus, she prepares for the surprise.

One time, VA and RB booked a hotel room. Prior to their arrival, Secret Friend (SF) had already arrived and stayed in the room next to theirs. Meanwhile, RB continued with his routine of keeping in shape even while on vacation. VA also noticed that RB disappeared every night. RB likes to explore what their location has to offer and sometimes, he checks out the red-light district, among others.

Thus, when RB stepped out of their room, VA asked where he was going and he replied he wanted fresh air. VA saw nothing wrong with that and fell asleep, not knowing when he returned. Come morning, VA saw SF step out of the next room. She asked RB if he knew he was staying at the same hotel as well. RB said he did. VA refrained from asking more questions, as she had seen SF come out of RB’s bedroom at his home. RB introduced him as a friend.

During check out, VA was shocked to see that SF’s bill was included in their statement. RB said he lost a bet to SF, and would pay VA later. Rather than make a scene at the desk, VA paid the amount.

Just Being Convenient

Network Actor (NA) has been placed in lockdown by His Wife (HW), as she has noticed that he would be out of their home nightly. NA’s excuse is that he would just be in a friend’s home helping make food packs for frontliners. HW was not convinced and suspected that NA might be having a secret affair with a female neighbor. As the legal wife, she should do what she could to protect their marriage. Moreover, HW stressed that NA should spend more time at home to make sure he’s around to take care of the young one, especially now that they do not have a nanny.

When NA was starting out, he showed much promise to be the next important actor of the network. After all, his looks were fresh, his acting was superb, and his appeal catered to women and gays. Thus, the network had that actor that could raise the bar for the talents. However, as fast as he rose, the quicker he was suddenly out of the picture. The potential to become lead did not materialize, as competition was indeed tough. Controversial issues hounded his career, as well, and settling down diminished interest in him. Thus, his projects were scarce and although he had acting jobs, these roles did not pay as much as mainstream avenues. With no work happening these days, NA could feel the pinch in his pockets, as his savings were slowly depleted.

HW, meanwhile, continued with her investigation as to the whereabouts of NA when he leaves their home. Her discovery was shocking. NA was not going to a friend’s home to pack goods nor to another woman’s arms to find solace. HW found out a hurtful truth.

Before HW entered the life of NA, he was with a Healthcare Practitioner (HP). HP and NA broke up when the latter decided to settle down. HP was also the reason behind the breakdown of NA’s previous relationship. HP followed NA and setup his home in the same village as that of NA and HW. HP is wealthy and works in a prestigious healthcare facility. This time, HP was giving NA an allowance to help him with household expenses.

HW realized that the nightly excuses were meant for NA’s visiting HP. Subsequently, HW confronted NA over HP. NA said that he and HP have been friends for the longest time and he does not see anything wrong if HP continues to help him out. Of course, NA would never admit that the help has strings attached, which are alleged bedroom moments with HP. When HW said that they could always ask her family for help, NA refused and said that he would take on the sole responsibility of raising his family. HW should not interfere with his ways so they would not have problems.

Marriage Crisis

Sometime ago, Retired Talent (RT) was on the verge of making a stable career. She was a fresh face amidst the usual singers and dancers, and her name had recall. Soon, she was in various programs and movies. Such was a sign that she could make it big in the industry. Typically, with the space for fame once again occupied by wannabees, RT had to find her own opportunities and had to take a break from acting.

Meanwhile, RT found love with a Showbiz Personality (SP). SP, who is related to a controversial Network Personality (NP), tried his luck in showbiz. However, his career remained at a certain level, as being in the shadow of NP did not do much wonder. Thus, SP had to strike on his own and explore other opportunities. However, acting offers would come once in a while and SP would make himself available. With his work came the balancing act of maintaining a family life with RT.

Although often away from the limelight, the state of marriage of RT and SP is making its way into the grapevine. Apparently, the rumor revolves around an alleged Health Professional (HP) who is fancying SP even if she knows he has a family and kids. HP is familiar with showbiz insiders, as she has participated in various functions that touched on a bit of the entertainment industry. Age was not an issue between HP and SP. SP was pursued.

Friends who are hearing about the rumors started to worry for the marriage of RT and SP. After all, the two seemed like an ideal couple and a third party might not be a welcomed factor in the life of RT and SP. What troubled their friends is that HP has an image, which makes her a role model of sorts. Thus, having the alleged affair with SP does not speak well for her professional and personal reputation.

The Reality

The struggle is real and reality is a painful truth, that is, one’s success is not a guarantee that the subsequent one will be as big. When Popular Celebrity (PC) was given another solo project, his management had high hopes for ratings and network traffic. PC was fresh off a project and his Next One (NO) was expected to do well. However, as time passed, NO was not where it was expected to be.

The network’s think tanks could only scratch their heads at the failure of NO to meet expectations. The supporting cast was commendable and the script was unique. However, one factor seemed to continue to hound PC. Regardless of how the network has tried to veer away from focusing on a love interest, apparently, viewers find this factor important. In the case of PC, a leading lady is crucial to gain support, a reality that his management refuses to accept.

While working on NO, the network tried to pair off PC with Beautiful Girl (BG), who is considered a fresh face in the industry. Much was pinned on PC and BG. However, BG’s acting skills were too raw and could not match that of PC’s. Then, to the shock of BG, her character was killed off. This end was unexpected as prior preparations indicated that BG’s character will be until the end of NO. Other female leads suffered the same thing – the lack of chemistry with PC. Worse, fanatic followers of PC would lambast whoever is close to the actor on social media.

Finally, the creative team broached several ideas to improve NO. First, the team made a hard decision to make PC’s character unattached. Hence, no female partner will be included. Second, the entry of a controversial Senior Actor (SA) was seen as a possibility to boost interest in the show. SA would bring a different dimension in NO and challenge the skills of PC. However, SA has to wait until the fans are pacified, as he seems to be unwelcomed by the social media community. If strategies fail to lift NO, then the project would have to fold-up, as the network cannot afford to incur losses simply because PC has to stay afloat in his career.

Arguments Over Agreements

Cute Contestant (CC) of a reality show is in the midst of a tug-of-war between his Original Manager (OM) and Possible Pirate (PP). Long before CC appeared in public as a wannabee celebrity, OM had already seen his potential and signed him up for a number of years. Thus, when CC started becoming visible in media, little did he and his camp know that he had caught the eye of PP.

PP is a veteran personality in the local entertainment industry, who has earned the respect of colleagues for doing his job for many years. Allegedly, he gave CC that second look and made his heart feel younger than reality. PP watched CC from afar until introductions were made.

As PP has been in the industry for many years, he already has an extensive network of contacts that could help CC gain fame and flourish in his career. Not only is PP connected to a management, as he also has many friends who can give CC publicity. Meanwhile, OM is a small fry compared to PP.

PP approached the camp of CC and promised an Influential Relation (IR) possible gigs and endorsements for CC. His intention was to manage CC and get OM out of the way. IR was overwhelmed at the possibilities of CC if they take the offer of PP. Besides, PP has been giving gifts to CC to expand his wardrobe.

When OM was asked if CC could get out of his contract, the answer was, of course, negative. OM stressed that he has a live contract.

According to the grapevine, IR and OM are no longer talking to each other. CC, meanwhile, is in a quandary. He is still considered a fresh entrant in the industry and yet, he already has the weight of controversy hounding him.

Ruining Justification

Prodigal Talent (PT) approached Influential Insider (II) if he could be given another chance with her network. Allegedly, PT was worried that he could fade into oblivion without the backing of a stable management that can assure him of projects. After all, as breadwinner, he needs to have a strong career to support his family. Competition was getting higher and PT, without the right connections, might not even be hired as an endorser.

II, thinking of potential gains by having PT in her turf, agreed to take him back. After all, PT has a following and with the experimenting strategy these days, PT can be partnered with any leading lady. II welcomed PT with open arms and soon after, his first major project as a returnee was ironed out.

II was all for innovation and fresh start for PT and thus, hired Charming Lady (CL) to be his partner. Getting the services of CL was a dent in the pocket and the high investment has to result in high return of investment. II instructed the staff to come up with a strategy to drum up the team-up of PT and CL. As usual, they had to think of ways to create noise for PT and CL.

Meanwhile, someone was not excited for the PT and CL team in the camp of PT. Saddened by the turn of events was Suffering Woman (SW). SW feared that the PT-CL move would wipe out her partnership with PT. PT had to explain that he needed work and by getting into the fold of the network, he had to follow the rules and play along. He cannot afford to lose possible economic gains.

PT confided to II the predicament of SW, who seemed to be left behind with his move. Besides, SW has no regular projects and lack of work is not good for her professional growth. II told PT that a show can be set for SW.

Things turned unexpectedly when the followers of PT and SW started to overreact to the introduction of CL. SW asked PT what she could do, as their fans were uncontrollable with their reactions in social media. PT said he will take care of everything to pacify the fans. He did and his action placed him in hot water.

One statement in social media made the team of II look like fools. The post, which was not made known to the staff, put a stop to whatever promo the team was planning. Consequently, PT was called to explain why he did what he did. He reasoned out that it was his way to prevent a boycott coming from fans who are supporting him and SW. He was told that his partnership with CL was for a higher market and not just for the people he intended to pacify.

The chain reaction did not end with PT, as II was told by higher management to fix the mess, as the money they were investing in the new move was hefty. Getting CL was not cheap and if the project fails, II will severely be reprimanded.

A Secret

Missing Talent (MT) has not been seen in any show or movie in the past few months. It seems that MT just dropped out of the limelight without any explanation or a major controversy that could easily explain her lack of visibility.

Sometime ago, MT was among the promising batch of talents of a network. Her looks easily made her stand out from her peers and the management saw potential in her. Followers easily gravitated and she was deemed as their idol. The management gave her the breaks by casting her in various dramas that were mostly on primetime. Although she was still part of the supporting cast, her roles were marked and integral to the plot. This exposure led to endorsements and MT had the fresh look that can add attraction to a product.

Moreover, MT was entrusted with a love team. Her Counterpart Actor (CA) played along and the two of them were well-received by fans. The production had plans for the two to be elevated to a major loveteam. Unfortunately, gossip started to leak out that CA and MT could not really get along behind the cameras. Instead of having a harmonious relationship, their personal attitude toward each other affected their professional team.

As competition is tough and many talents are waiting for that break, MT was perceived to be taking things for granted. Thus, MT was hardly given any projects and soon, her presence was only felt in posts in her social media account. She promised that she would come back and her fans were appeased.

The guessing game, however, has begun as to the reason MT is hardly seen and her posts are not up-to-date. When a female celebrity leaves the limelight, many stories start to emerge and verification only comes later. In the case of MT, nothing has been said except that she’s on vacation overseas. The recent development is that one of her endorsements was requested to hold her contract for a few months. Allegedly, MT might be in the interesting stage and thus, changes in her physique might affect her endorsement of the said product. The question now is if MT will verify if such rumor is true.

Cheap Attitude

Eager Newbie (EN) suddenly turned into fan mode upon seeing Respected Personality (RP) at an event. While the two are together in the same project, seeing RP was a dream come true for EN, much more was the possibility of working close to her. During the event, people from the production and the press were fussing over RP. The moment was also their chance to make sure that RP would be pleased at her new role. After all, RP is one of the most sought-after personalities in the industry.

Because she could not resist, EN had to make a scene. EN approached the group with RP and blurted her thought while RP was talking to the group. EN expressed her desire to be among the personalities who have recreated a scene from a film. Her comment shifted attention to her, and RP was caught off-guard. As laughter ensued, RP was teased to give EN what she wanted. However, RP knows how to handle such situation and politely said that another time would be more appropriate.

After the event, RP called for the Person-in-Charge (PC) and asked who was that gutsy unknown person who had the nerve to join her party. PC apologized and explained that EN was among the new talents the network was building up. RP then said to PC that such newbies should be taught manners and not just approach any senior celebrity and join in. In the case of EN, she was not even properly introduced to RP. Besides, to be in a scene with RP means one has earned his/her space and she will not just give that honor to anyone. Moreover, RP said that she should not be used for such gimmick, as she knows that EN’s dream might be picked up by the press who were there.

PC kept quiet and listened. RP was not yet done. She told PC to tell EN not to resort to any stunt that involves her. Who knows, the next time EN does anything similar to RP, she might be banished from their project.

EN was a fast learner and has learned to stay clear of RP, so as not to created any awkward scenes. After all, EN knows that young talents, like her, are many and if she keeps her fresh attitude, she might just end up turning off more seasoned celebrities.
