ReplyDeleteFor those who don’t understand why this is important: here in the U.S. professors, teachers, and coaches are typically required to pass background checks and should not have a history of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, or any other form of abuse. These safeguards exist to protect students. If Ateneo failed to properly investigate Coach Tab’s background before hiring him, then the institution may need to answer questions about whether it was negligent in fulfilling its responsibility to protect its students.
ReplyDeleteThis is true. Same here sa UK. They are making noise to let the people know that they have warned ateneo. Wala naman kasing investigation. Sinabi na nilang accident eh. So meaning walang mananagot.
