I'm glad she's getting a lot of projects, she's a good actress. Nakakasalubong ko sya sa Cash and Carry supermarket. First time I saw her nawindang ako hahahaha, I did not expect that she would give off this Madam aura kasi nga I always saw her play roles of less affluent people. I think she was with another companion and she was speaking in straight English with a kolehyala accent.
The Africas are a very academic family. Her grandfather, the late Francisco M. Africa was the Dean of Arts and Letters at FEU. Her aunts were also teachers in the same school.Dr. Candido Africa, her uncle, was a great microbiologist, and the family Africa Street in UP campus Diliman was named after him convent bred, having studied in St. Theresa’s College, Quezon City from kinder, grade school to high school where English is spoken all the time so she grew up speaking the language. In college she took up Fine arts at UST and graduated in 1981 as CUM LAUDE.
I actually watched Susan Africa sa play na ang language eh pure English. Required to watch by our high school teacher during the 90s. Nagulat nga ako eh dahil kilala ko siyang mahirap pero mabait na nanay sa Mara Clara. But she can speak English fluently and dance as well. Wala nga ko nagets that time kasi English eh hahaha charot. Sina Leo Martinez theatre actors sila
Natawa naman ako dun sa "hindi mahirap". Pero may mga movie naman sya na hindi mahirap role niya eh. Kaso nakatatak na talaga sa kanya ang role ng mahirap at ubuhing nanay. Sa Mara Clara nagsimula yan.
