Eugene Domingo and Pokwang are in top comic form as BFFs-turned-rivals in the newly released Full Trailer of BECKY & BADETTE. An entry to the 49th MMFF this December, the trailer shows Eugene and Pokwang as two women who are down on their luck and branded losers at their alumni homecoming. But suddenly a viral video catapults them to fame and fortune, but is it going to cost them their friendship?
This film by award-winning director Jun Robles Lana features a star-studded cast. Summer MMFF Best Actor Romnick Sarmenta takes a comedic turn as the man who comes between the BFFs. Agot Isidro plays what seems like the school bully from Becky & Badette’s past. Adrian Lindayag also stars in the film with special guests Iza Calzado, Sunshine Dizon, Karylle, Ice Seguerra, Janice de Belen, Moira dela Torre, Christian Bables, Gladys Reyes, Sheryn Regis, Sharlene San Pedro, Via Antonio, Joross Gamboa and Empoy.
“BECKY AND BADETTE” opens in cinemas nationwide on Dec 25, one of the 10 big titles participating in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
Parang Romy and Michele's High School Reunion
ReplyDeleteI came here to comment the same thing. Pero sana as funny din to.
DeleteVery interesting. Similar to the Romy n Michele movie but with a twist.
ReplyDeleteWatch nyo muna the lucky one, if 90s baby kayo mkk relate kayo s mga movie guy and vilma sobrang laughtrip yun, parang sequel ito
ReplyDeleteSinu naman kaya manonood nyan?
ReplyDeleteMadami na kabataan na cinephile ngayon di tumitingin sa mga bidang artista kundi sa director at pelikula mismo. Try mo umattend ng Qcinema or Cinemalaya.

ReplyDeleteKinda like r and m but not really. They dont get “famous” and r and m is mostly at their hs reunion. Anyhow this looks promising but the trailers got 85%of the movie it seems
ReplyDeleteAuto pass po kay mamang pokie
ReplyDeleteHard pass basta kasama si Pokwang. Kahit ilagay pa sa free TV yan.
ReplyDeleteI will watch this, I want to laugh and be happy this Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI don't literally take it personal if whatever lives or true characters the actors have, what important to me is I get to entertained for the money I will pay watching their film kasi yun naman talaga trabaho nila.
Kung ano man personal nila, wala na kong pakelam.
True that. Kung ano man personal life nila wala na tayo don hahahhaha sila pa ata yung bitter hindi naman nila buhay
