THE NERVE!

They put the pressure on the next person to fulfill their dreams. Parang mga magulang. Kung yung nanay o tatay mo bigong maging doktor, ipu-push nila na maging doktor yung anak nila. Depende sa perspective mo, it can be a challenge to push your limits, or it can be unfair and a huge burden to carry.

    3. Andon na tayo 10:18 but you don’t walk out naman on somebody who failed the you did also diba?

    4. Well naka 3rd runner up si Shamcey.

    2. Sabi-sabi is sometimes true. SUPSUP can is allowed to talk

    3. 457 correct! it could be more than that! celeste is a strong candidate, very strong kahit sabhin pa ng mga bashers dito na malamya sya at weak! she deserves a spot more than those other ladies na nakapasok sa top 16. MUp might have the reason to walked put dahil alam nilang nabardagul sila

  4. The Philippines have been known as one of the good sports in all competitions. Sadly, we did not make it, but the loss should be a key indicator of where and how the MU PH org will lay their game plan next year for the improvement of their candidates.

AGAIN, a candidate should have established a solid of what she can share to inspire women in the world. That’s not only mean that the candidate should master or perfect her walks (Passarella), but she must have a real-deal experience in life, a sense of purpose that can empower and encourage other women as well.

Advocacy is the strongest tool to convey a purpose, mission, and vision to be seen by the world. The candidate will bring her advocacy and let the MUO hear what she can do for the title that she is competing for. She must have the skills to communicate to express her thoughts clearly.

Physical beauty and fancy gowns are secondary plus value, still, a candidate must have all these factors in one. At the end of the coronation, it is a job, a responsibility to fulfill.

    1. @222 well said! Hope pageant organizers read this.

    2. And now there's such a thing as a 'fake advocacy', because beauty pageants reinforce it.

Pageant candidates SEEMINGLY NEED to have advocacies so that they'd appear purposeful, but people could see through the fakeness.

Biglang may advocacy kasi sasali sa pageant. Toink!
That's what separates Catriona and R'Bonney Gabriel from the others.

Kaya pasok din talaga yung mapipilitan kang magkaroon ng project sa community or any good deeds initiative bago ka sumali.

      Delete
    4. 5:27 di ka sure kay Catriona behh pero Rbonney’s advocacy is true and geniune talaga since yun yung passion/work nya.

      Delete
    5. R'Bonney has a fashion advocacy pala in Pangasinan for 5 years.

She's helping women sa pananahi. As per her video sa Top 16, victims of domestic violence/abuse.

She's also advocating for sustainable fashion.

      Key words: TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP.

Miss USA emphasized that. She's similar to Catriona regarding preparations.

She works with Pinoy designers pa. She works with them for years.

Celeste siguro is not good sa communication.

      Delete

      Delete
    7. 5:27 Cat still continues her advocacies. She helps out small local entrepreneurs and she really patronizes and lromotes their products. Partner nga sya ng DTI eh.

      Delete
    8. R'Bonney has had an advocacy since she was fifteen.

Pero tama kayo, they look into this na. they also want strong stories. Everyone had a great story to tell.

    9. Gone are the days na ganda lang ang focus ng MU. Kailangan talaga may advocacy at mahahalata mo na through their interviews, itong R bonny mukhang encouraging to other women.Yan ang personality na hinahanap.Spokesperson.Wag panay ganda.

      Delete

NKKLK K!

    1. Lesson learned for the next girls who want to join—— work on yourself first- study, travel, read, do yoga etc... whatever that will make you feel empowered and be the best versions of yourselves. Also, If you live abroad and want to join the pageant, join in your home country it is more authentic that way... I know C did her best but she isn’t really a true representative of our country. She’s more Italian and I’m not going to sugarcoat it...MUPH failed in a sense that they chose a woman to compete with no actual credentials but a beautiful face and body. Also, they focused on glamming her up and teaching her how to speak English more fluently rather than making her mind rich....her basic knowledge about our culture and life- nada. Truth is she lacks life skills, general knowledge and grit.I watched her q&a during miss earth pageant and you will see what I am talking about...and her YouTube with her boyfriend—4 years in our country but can hardly speak Tagalog. Her bf even speaks better which tells me she has no intention to learn or just lack passion...a Miss Universe-Philippines but can hardly speak the language and hardly know the culture...4 yrs in our country and did 2 pageants already but still cannot speak in full sentences. To me that’s a turn off I’m pretty sure the judges figured out something is off...

    3. True. For someone who travels a lot, she looks inexperienced.

Read and watch the news, culture and history.

  13. Ang OA na nag walk out. Sore loser? Hindi naman all the time nasa top 16 or top 5 or top 3. Mayroong pwedeng mag stand out over our candidate. Celeste did her best and let’s thank her for that. May next year pa mga sis. Tama na sisihan haha

    1. di pwedeng isama si Celeste. di pa tapos eh, she's required to stay. mas sore loser cya tingnan if she walked out, too. It could be the muph org felt really bad at unacceptable sa kanila ang result that Celeste didn't make it kaya nag walkout. but they could've stayed, be sports enough to accept defeat.

  18. Baka may attitude din? Saw a post here on FP that she hugged her mom while at MU venue. It may looked heartwarming and emotional pero bawal pala yun na lapitan or mag break sila ng line. The Miss Universe Org is also particular sa behavior of someone who wears the crown. Kahit simple rules, dapat e follow..

    ReplyDelete

    1. Hindi marunong sumunod sa rules.

    2. 8:29 Hindi naman attitude, she saw her mom na Hindi pa niya nakikita since nag train siya for MU.
