    2. binyahe po ng client si cochi, delivery addresses may be within accpetable areas pero marami po sa client ang binyahe o pinaghintay si cochi bago kinain, so talagang magsa suffer ang quality. ang sa atin lang nasanay kasi tayo na kapag may reklamo socmed agad pwede naman magcomplain muna sa supplier. magrarant tayo eh kasalanan pala natin. at kung di talaga tayo satisfied wag natin iconsume ang product at ibalik para marefund. kaso inubos na eh pinaksiw pa tapos refund...

Madaling magsabi na move on na kasi kumita sya eh paano naman ang mga taong naperwisyo move on din ang remedyo nya eh di ba dapat refund? Ireklamo kasi karapatan ng tao yan at yang mga nagmamarunong eh kayo na lang umako sa refund kasi nagmamarunong din lang kayo.

    6. We had conchi galing sa ibang supplier. Na deliver sya ng maaga, so ilang oras pa bago sya kinain. Super crispy pa naman at masarap. So i think hindi lang talaga sya sa delay.

  30. Walang accountability to 20 years in the business pero walang ethics. Sinisi pa mga rider, kahit matraffic ang rider kung sunog or hilaw yan ganun talaga dadating yan sa customer. Yung mga lechon nga sa cebu na pinapadala dito sa manila nakakarating ng maayos. Marvin is so unprofessional. Sana mga ganitong negosyo hindi na sinusuportahan. Second kahit di ako vegan I refuse to buy cochinillo napakabata pa ng baboy for that brutal process.

He’s not pointing fingers or blaming anyone, he admitted his mistakes and now he’s moving forward by not delivering kasi in his opinion his product is best straight out of the oven. True naman ang sinabi nya na its out of his control once na ideliver so its best to keep running his business within his limits at controlado so kung may nagcomplain, resolve agad diba.

  45. Me delivery service kami at direct client namin mga company
    Nitong ber months halos ang delivery namin ay cochinillo from (Umami Kitchen) nag 15-20 a day kami na pick-up and delivery all over metro manila

    So far for the last October/Nov and Dec wala naman kmi natanggap na complaints from our client na yung order nilang cochinillo eh nasira dahil samin

    Tingin ko nasa management ng restaurant yan considering na iisang location ang pinagkukuhanan ng mga tao ko

    Maayos kasi dispatch ng restaurant na yun at managed pareho ang agreed pickup and target time for delivery

    So mag move forward ka pero never blame 3rd party delivery para sa mga sunog na cochinillo 🀣 taga implement lang kami ng delivery di kami nagluluto sa kalye

  46. Humbling kay Marvin yan. Sa totoo lang me kayabangan yan kahit sa pg post nung cochi nya. At kaya pala kaya nya kumain ng halos 2x a week ng cochi, napakamura lang pala ng live piglet raw mga 2k lang tapos sell nya sa 9k pataas. Sobra mahal mgbenta. Pati sa restos nya, mahal d naman ganun kasarap. Pandemic na ganun pa rin wala awa mgpresyo. Pumalpak sya kasi imbes na i cancel nya o refund yung mga hindi nya nakaya na orders, pinilit nya dahil sa laki pala ng kita nya kada cochi. Imagine, mas ginusto pa nila na mabulilyaso ang pasko ng mga umorder kesa nga naman mgrefund sila. Hype lang sila sa lahat ng bagay. Inuuuna kasi ang kikitain kesa sa satisfaction ng customers. Tsaka yung bad customer service ng staff nya? Di naman mandeadma mga yun kung alam nila na particular si marvin sa good customer service. Makikita mo tuloy tunay na ugali nya.

  49. Di ko naman pinagtatanggol si Marvin but if you own a food business, alam mo pag kaya ng kusina mo ung dami ng orders pero di mo marerealize agad na yung delivery di kakayanin kung third party. Di nakakastress ung luto, sa totoo lang ung courier ang nakakastress kasi that part is beyond the seller's control. Dapat nung simula palang e di na niya kinommit ang booking ng delivery. I learned that the hard way nung nahirapan ako magbook holidays last year and mega tinalakan ako nung umorder kasi nalate. Ung distansya ng delivery is qc to ortigas lang pero sa tagal ng booking, di napickup agad ung order, ang mahal pa ng delivery fee.

    1. 9:48 PM - if you own a food business, you would know that you have to factor in delivery options during peak seasons like holidays. you do this at the start of the year and finalize at the start of the quarter (of the peak season concerned).

      wag kang magdahilan ng nakakastress ang couriers. legit food businesses would make prior arrangements with riders - mostly contracted with just for the peak season. or join the delivery platform para di problema delivery. the scenario you described sounds like someone who just made something that needed to be delivered during peak season. so yeah, you're just defending Marvin. you don't sound like someone with an actual food business. specially with the dismissive di nakakastress ang luto. that's ridiculously incredulous.

      And yes - I'm a small food business owner.

No offense to 9:48 PM, but if delivery is included in your food service then it SHOULD be included in your plan. kung di na anticipate na mahirap magbook during a busy season or mas mahal ang bayad sa delivery, those are due to POOR PLANNING and mahirap gamitin palusot sa bad service.

      On a broader point, I'm really baffled sa mga nag order kay Marvin and then nagrereklamo na di satisfied sa quality ng food. He's not a chef nor a cook by profession, artista lang na nagluto, so why have high expectations sa quality ng food? dami namang ibang tried and tested restaurants selling suckling pig, bakit di dun umorder?

    5. Ako din naman small business owner, kaya nga ako nagcomment lol. I know my capacity, and I've been selling since the time nagsisimula palang ang Lalamove at Grab. I don't take orders more than I can handle but delivery booking is a different story. Ngayong pandemic lang namimili ang mga riders ng bookings kasi malakas talaga online selling ng food. At one point, I had to add priority fee up to 200 pesos just for the courier to pick up the order from me. So no, I'm not defending Marvin. I'm just stating my experience and it's a learning experience for everybody. While my food business is just my side gig, I know myself enough that my strength is in the kitchen, hence, nasabi ko na hindi ako stress sa kitchen. Mas stress sakin ung administrative side of it. Di naman puro luto lang ang food business, may marketing side and administrative side. Inaral ko naman po. Okay na? Kalorks. May pa you don't sound like someone with an actual food business ka pa jan. Sandukin kita jan.

    7. LOL WHAT? You sound like an asumerang frog. I am no way related to Marvin Agustin. I sell graze boxes that I assemble myself and desserts I make and bake MYSELF. I take the holidays into consideration which is why I only sell a fixed number of graze boxes and desserts. I MAKE THEM MYSELF out of my passion for food. It is not my main source of income but I like doing it because I enjoy it. My business may not be as big as yours as you seem to make it sound, but you have no right to talk down on people. You make it seem like I'm the one who is nagmamagaling but I'm just stating na sa food business kanya-kanya ng assignment based sa strength mo. Kung nagtrabaho ka sa industrial kitchen or nagenroll ka ng culinary, magegets mo ung sinasabi ko. Di ako naghahire ng delivery because graze boxes are a seasonal thing and my other business does not require a delivery person. Expense lang sha sa amin. Sa totoo lang di na dapat ako sumagot dahil madami akong work but I want to because it's people like you that make the internet toxic. You don't want to open your mind kasi mashado kayong feisty over someone's blunder. Lahat ng business nagkakaroon ng errors. Yung kay Marvin, obviously, they took more orders than they can accommodate at walang plan B. Okay na ako. Sana okay ka na din. Mashado kang angry, high and mighty. More power to your "food business". LOL.

    8. 9:32 PM - Haha I'm angry pero you're the one who threatened me with physical violence via your sandok. :D And graze boxes - that's why you're not hassled with the cooking part. And focusing on one's strengths - that's common sense. And fine your boxes and desserts are not you're main source of income - you kept repeating this to what end? it was never a factor in our discourse but okay since you put it there and lurve to stress on it.

      I'm no longer going to argue on how you don't want efficiency and streamlined processes.

      Finally, Marvin's lack of accountability doesn't merit open-mindedness when he himself makes it clear he will never hold himself accountable. The blunder isn't what set people off, it's his refusal to be accountable for it.

      I've always been okay. I draw the line with those who refuse to be accountable. Good for you that you're willing to compromise on these things, while I can be okay I kennat accept such comprises under the guise of being open-minded.

  56. Kailangang magpahumble nalang si Marvin ok na sana dahil sa apology niya nung una pero now may biniblame na siya. Hindi lang naman yung cochi yung kinocompain pati yung ibang dishes na napanis.Yung ibang restaurant pag hindi nagustuhan or hindi naluto ng tama ang order they refund the customer eventhough it's not full refund or papalitan. From the start walang appeal ang cochi ni Marvin sa akin dahil I still prefer the authentic filipino ingridients mas masarap at malasa compare sa mga herbs na gamit niya, even yung sauce (olive oil with herbs) niya ay hindi din appropriate para sa cochi dapat suka or mang tomas. Cebu lechon parin ang pinaka masarap para sa akin.

    1. Noon, isa ang lechon s star tlga ng fiesta or any happy celebration. Part n ng tradition natin ang lechon eversince. So i kinda understand why pinoy serves lechon despite hndi ako mahilig dito.

      As for marvin, YES!. Overrated nga sya

  58. Mga chismosa at chismoso lang tayong lahat. tama na yang pag gamit ng marites mariposa at iba pa nakakaumay and no hindi yan ang name ko nakakaumay lang puro marites sinasabi kahit saan. Overpriced ang cochinillo talaga at mas masarap pa at sulit ang lechon o lechon belly pero to each their own. Sana busog ang lahat sa chismis at sa mga nakain lechon
