    1. FIRST OLYMPIC GOLD. Let that sink in to us. Wow!

Congrats, Hidilyn! Hope private companies can also financially assist all athletes sa sports sa Pinas.

Most of them are struggling talaga sa financial support. Training expenses, board and lodging, coaches, etc.

    2. aba! tumigil ka nga. deserve nya

      Delete
    4. Hoy 12:22 wag nega at bitter. Kasalanan ba niya na may naghihirap na Filipino? Bakit gusto mong i deny sa kanya yung incentives?

      Delete
    6. Pinaghirapan nya yan ng maraming taon. She deserved them. Getting the first gold for Philippines in Olympics is a mark in history. Yung mahihirap na Pinoy do not deserve any prize kung hindi sila magsisikap.

Kaya well deserved niya lahat ng sinabing incentives pinaghirapan niya yung 🥇…👏👏👏

May tinatawag tayong charity, limos, at pagkakawanggawa.

      Delete
    12. Wag inggit. More than a decade na syang nag wweightlifting and laki din ng sakripisyo nya. Not her fault ba gusto sya i-reward at lalongbdu nya kasalanan naghihirap karamihan sa mga Pinoy. In fact, even before the ein nag give back sya sa community.

      Delete

      Delete
    14. She deserve every cent. she earned it.

      Delete

      Delete
    16. Ay wow 12:22 gatekeeper ka ng incentives?

      Delete
    17. Bitter mo nman. Deserve nman nya lahat yan.

      Delete
    18. Communism mentality yang sinasabi mo.

    19. You know the first thing she mentioned about what she's going to do with the prize money? Tithe.

Napakautak ipis nyo!

      Delete
    14. 2:56 nakakalungkot diba? Kailangan niya pang mamalimos ng financial support sa poon mo and then na red tag pa siya ng amang nazeraan pero tingnan mo naman ngayon, kakapal ng apog mag congratulate. Hypocrites

      Delete
  8. Nakakalula naman ang laki ng incentives!! Congratulations and well-deserved! Who knows kung kelan tayo makakasungkit ulit ng Olympics gold medal.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I'm so happy for Hidilyn. All the hatd work from Asian Games, Sea Games, Rio and now this. She gave up everything for this dream. Pati mga nanonood sa kanya from other countries naiyak when she got the medal.

    ReplyDelete
  10. over flowing ang blessings pwede na syang mag retire..

  12. She deserved all of those and more.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. True.

Also, Pacquaio was never an athlete who played to represent his country sa Sea Games, Asian Games, and Olympic Games.

He's a professional boxer in his personal capacity, unlike professional athletes in other countries who still join Olympics to represent their countries every 4 years.

      i.e NBA players, tennis players

      Delete
    2. So very true anon 12:43 AM! Noon pa man hindi supportive si pacquiao sa sports & its advocacies and to think alam niya ang hirap na pinagdadaanan ng isang atleta. Super yaman niya kaya that and with his power & influence, dapat siya pa nga ang nangungunang tumulong sa mga atleta kaya very disappointing si pacquiao

      Delete
    3. I don't know the details 1:22, pero pro boxers are not allowed to compete in the Olympics. In other sports like basketball and tennis allowed, pero sa boxing hindi.

      Delete

      Delete
    5. boxing is one of few Olympic sports na puro amateur lang dahil bawal ang professional athlete. delikado yung maraming laban in a short amount of time

      Delete
    6. magbibigay yun, tatakbo yun sa upcoming elections. baka inaantay lang na tapos na ang lahat ng pinoy athletes sa events nila since marami pa tayong chance to win medals para siguro parehas ang maibigay kung may gold pa tayo since sa boxing buhay pa tayo and so golf mag compete pa si yuka saso. sana nga madagdagan pa gold natin

      Delete
    7. Naisip ko din yan. That Pacquiao missed the both in forging a more lasting and meaningful legacy sa larangan ng sports. Sayang yung fame, wealth and influence niya. Or makapunta at makapag-compete sa isang international event.

  14. Ang saya saya! Congrats! Deserve mo yan girl!

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'm really happy for her that all her work paid off. Sana din aside from incentives, all these fund yung training and development ng athletes kahit di pa nananalo.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Tama to, you have to prove yourself talaga by winning. Investment kumbaga ang sports. For the other athletes I think we can support them naman pero I think we should also consider their winability. Like the case of Michael Martinez, kamusta ba ranking niya?

    ReplyDelete
  41. 2008 siya nagstart. Dami niyang napagdaanan. 13 years in the making ang Gold medal. Sobrang deserve niya yan kasi kahit sobrang tagal hindi siya naggive up! Ang galing mo Ms. Diaz!
