    3. They probably are but it's not enough. What people here are failing to see is the huge financial cost of the whole situation.
I work sa health care and it surprises a lot of people how expensive prolonged conditions/hospitalizations can be.

    4. true.

    5. Huh? Heart attack ung kay Doris. Nasurgery nga e..

    1. Probably yes to all pero mahal ang heart surgery.

    2. There’s a cap in how much they (insurance) can pay. Limited lang to a certain amount.

      Delete

    4. How did you know na walang tulong ang kapamilya? Wag putak ng putak if d mo alam

      Delete
    5. Tama dapat covered. Lalo na with the nature of her job risky talaga.

      Delete

      Delete
    7. true. di ba may sagip kapamilya.

      Delete
    8. probably maxed out the maximum benefit limit

    9. The HMO coverage may not be enough to cover all expenses especially now that we are on pandemic. I was hospitalized before for 5 days for a simple allergic reaction but my hospital bill reached 110k, so how much more a major operation like hers

    10. We have to sell our house at isang lupang minana pa namin para masupportahan si mother she has cancer. May kapatid kami ngaaral pa.

    11. Malaki max limit ng reporters with their line of work, how come tahimik network nya to helping her out. Malaki laki na rin siguro naipon nya throughout the years.

  4. Aww does it mean in serious condition sya? Grabe rin yung dedication nya ah. Parang kelan lang during the pandemic e sumasabak pa sya sa mga live coverage. Prayers for her.

  5. I hope i-enforce sa Philippines na lahat ng companies should provide their employees medical or health insurance.

    1. No government can force a private company to provide health insurance. It can only be done if the government takes ownership of health care, in which case the private companies will become partners with the government by paying for the health premiums of their employees. That’s what they do in many western countries.

    2. Meron yan kaso may limit per illness amg HMO. Mukang wala kayong alam or trabaho? Ang mahal kasi pag heart ailment ang sakit

      Delete

      Delete
    4. Meron sila lalo na sa network nya but it doesnt mean kaya ng insurance bayaran lahat lalo na yung sakit nya sobrang mahal

      Delete

      Delete
    7. Where is it stated that it has not been covered? I am curious. But I know limited lang paminsan ang covered and hospitalization can reach up to millions.

      Delete
Kulang pa siguro kaya sila nag aask for help.

    9. companies are already paying for PhilHealth contributions

      Delete
    10. A lot of companies have this pero sometimes limited or na eexhaust din ang coverage lalo na sa mga sakit na mamahalin and/or long term.

      Delete
    11. 2:35 meron n girl ang issue lng is may limited amount lng n pede isupport sayo. Maybe she already reach the max limit

    12. Meron na yun. BAKA ANG GUSTO MO E SAGUTIN YUNG LAHAT NG GASTUSIN HANGGANG SA GUMALING? MAWAWALA MGA KUMPANYA PAG GANUN. Me mga health insurance na yang mga yan pero ANG HINDI NAIINTINDHIHAN NG MGA TAO E ME LIMITASYON LANG YUNG PERANG MAKUKUHA. AKALA KASI NG LAHAT E PAG NAKAINSURED E HANGGANG SA GUMALING SAGOT KA NG INSURANCE. NOPE!!!!!........

      Delete
    13. Harsh mo naman sumagot 5:05! Di ko alam ang health insurance coverage nyo dyan because I live in a different country where there is better health coverage.

      Delete
    14. 5:05 bakit ka galit? Loyalty pa more at the end of the day business decision ang mananaig compared sa pagiging kapamilya kuno.

      Delete
    15. Kaloka si 5:05. High blood ka kaagad? Ingat ka baka ikaw ang atakihin dyan!

      Delete
    16. It’s not good to rely on the health insurance provided by the company. Dapat personally meron din kayo to augment the one provided by the company in that way pag na exhaust na ang sa company, you can claim from your own insurance company.

    1. yeah it's online funding so pwede. Ideposit lang sa organizer but I think if hindi na raise ung target amount ibabalik ang mga donations.. Heart surgery is very expensive so hindi nmn fully covered ng insurance yan so there's no problem if they will raise funds for her Hospital bills, if gusto mo lang naman tutulong if not then it's fine.

      Delete
    2. No. It’s only open to 14 partner western countries according to their policy.

      Delete

  9. Grabe sa Pinas if hospitalized million abutin ng medical care pero HMO coverage ng regular employees between 80k-15Ok lang, Philhealth will cover between 15k-40k, majority parin ang costs shoulder ng kawawang Pinoy. Sobrang ganid ng private hospitals and sometimes you don't have any choice because ang hirap maadmit sa government hospitals. Sa UAE for example, ordinary sales clerk sa malls HMO nila between 1M-2M PhP depende sa company, sagot pa ng card yung meds wala ka isipin kung magkasakit ka. Tapos di ganon kamahal mag-charge hospitals unlike sa Philippines

  12. Gofundme is not a life insurance nor it is a medical insurance. Malaki ang sahod nya sa network, alam nya sa line of work nya mataas ang stress. Dapat nagprepare for possible critical illness. It's time na alisin sa isip ng pinoy amg may mahingian naman ng tulong. We should all be financially independent.

  13. yes why not start a go fund me in Face book !! you can kasi FB is world wide coz they send the money thru a bank account or an international remittance

    ReplyDelete
  14. I don't know if this applies to all companies but I think the company will only shoulder medical bills if the reason for your hospitalization is within the companies premises or while on duty. That's why it is always important to get a separate medical insurance aside from com issued health card.

  15. I am not sure if she is regular employee of Kapamilya.
From what I know before is under sya ng Magandang Gabi Bayan production ni Kabayan Noli. Or baka inabsorb sya ng Kapamilya nung nawala ang MGB, pero baka as contractor kasi bihira lang naman maregular lalo na sa News and Current Affairs department.
