  3. Ang defensive. Kung talagang may sense ang movie and ma jujustify ang poster then go! Prove us wrong. Pero kung poster lang ang titignan, it was done in bad taste kasi and sadya na ganun para mapag usapan

    2. 1:02 so pang clout nga at yung mental health naging light issue yun.

    3. 1:02 yes need mo ng catchy na poster para may recall and mag click yung movie pero need mo din ng balance..memorablr, creative and as much as possible hindi ganun ka offensive.

    5. 1:02 baks basahin mo official statement ng mental health advocates group to enlighten you. You need to educate yourself.

Wag na i-justify ang meaning ng “Tililing” when it relates to mental illness.

Satire, artistic form, chiefly literary and dramatic, in which human or individual vices, follies, abuses, or shortcomings are held up to censure by means of ridicule, derision, burlesque, irony, parody, caricature, or other methods, sometimes with an intent to inspire social reform.

    1. 1:03 AM - are you saying mental disability is a vice, folly, abuse or shortcoming? tsk tsk. if this were true satire, folks like you who treat mental disability as a joke would be the proper subject and not mental disability itself. kaya it's just offensive. it's not art. it's not satire.

      Delete

      Delete
    3. Wait...you defined the word Satire because you are saying that the movie is a satire. LOL

But you missed how Yap defended their position on why they used the Title and had the poster laid out the way it does. In no way, did Yap clarify that the movie is satirical in nature. In fact, he implied that the film has purpose and the story is carefully told by the director to advocate for the plight of those who suffer from mental illness, that their use of the term “Tililing” was not meant to offend. That in the end it will be clear why the derogatory term is not to be deemed derogatory at all.

      BUT..
The word itself connotes a derogatory meaning towards another, intended to make someone feel inferior or inadequate. It also doesn’t help that people with mental illness or “Tililing” are depicted win the poster as people with involuntary facial tics. 🤦🏻‍♀️

At any rate, the film is set to come out, people can decide if the movie is indeed a satire or just another offensive film meant to undermine the greater public’s sensibilities where mental illness is concerned.

I don't think may magandang hangarin sya to educate people sa mental health

    1. tuliling is the term para dun sa mga partly baliw, partly hindi haha! Parang you deliver it in a pa-joke way diba? So i think swak na swak yung poster talaga. Masyado lang kayong sensitive. LAHAT NALANG TALAGA

      Delete

  8. I find this comedian corny, sobrang pilit tapos may pagkafeelingera din. Same with Wacky Kiray. Im okey na with Lassy and MC. They’re natural comedian at alam mong mabait.

  21. Liza has a point. The tone of the poster was obviously done to be “funny.” The stigma has to stop, yes.
But can’t they also have a funny and light movie shedding light to mental illness? I get both sides, no need to polarize the issue.
