@1:51 I agree. Huling El Bimbo The Musical Team should file a case against the Musical Production Team of CJ Villavicencio. I personally listened to both tracks and it sound 97% ripped from the Musical in my opinion.
Funny thing is, the musical covered the song from Eheads' original hit and then a contestant covered the version of the musical.
To be honest? The original still stood on its own. The song came out in the mid 90's era, it made great history in music and gave so much pride - winning the 'International Viewer's Choice Awards for Asia' at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards. The Eraseheads band's popularity was exceptionally well.
I still hope that OPM will create more original music than ripping or making some sampling from famous original work.
Future OPM musicians should always remember that originality still matters than recycling.
