  1. As it should be... thanks, SC!
A lot of women suffer psychological and emotional pain bigtime because of their husbands' infidelity.

    1. A lot of men also suffer psychological and emotional pain because of their wives’ infidelity. Just saying. From personal experience.

    2. parehas yan mapababae or mapalalaki. Case to case basis.

    3. True 1:36 at 3:55 men experience that too.

  3. As it should be.

    1. It's for everyone. Man or woman.

    3. Marital infedility, it explains itself.

It’s for both.

The news/caption was like that because they were refering to a certain case na ang nanloko is yung lalaki.

      Delete
    6. The Anti-violence Against WOMEN and CHILDREN law applies to women and children only. Dapat amendahan yung batas to include all gender.

      Delete
But if this is a law, covered ang babae at lalaki. Mas maganda kung pwede yan grounds for annulment.

      Delete
  5. I applaud the supreme court! Naku yun mga nangangaliwa dyan mas lalo gagalingan ang pagtatago with the kabit.

      Delete
    2. correct kasi dati hindi tinatanggap ang marital infidelity as grounds for annulment.

      Delete
    3. 8:39 Not all FP readers are Catholic so trash your "hindi nagbabasa ng Bible" counter argument. Yan ang hirap sa mga taong walang awareness or sensitivities with other religions.

Hindi lahat ng nagbabasa ng bible eh Catholic, so thrash your “not all FP readers are Catholic” argument.

    5. 6:38 Galing mag proof read. Thrash is different from trash/bin/throw.

  7. Ang dami rin babaeng nangangaliwa

      Delete
    2. Comprehension naman. They “upheld” a certain decision na coincidentally lalaki ang nangaliwa. If the case is reverse ano sasabihin niyo? KNOW THE LAW.

      Delete

      Delete
    4. Correct me if I'm wrong but the SC decision pertains to RA 9262 or Violence against women and children, so it only applies to women and children.

      Delete
    5. 10:38 this is a different scenario po. When filing for annulment hindi kasi pwedeng cause ang marital infidelity noon pero ngayon pwede na. Buti naman because this is a FACT of LIFE.

      Delete

      Delete
    7. hoy 2:56 law the law ka ja . basahin mo ang law na yan. only applies to women

      Delete
  8. How about women leaving their husbands for another man??

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. pantay yan.Kasali din sa batas.

      Delete
    2. 3:53 magbasa ka ngang mabuti. vawc ang kaso. Violence against women and children lang nagaaply ang psychological violence. Walang proteksyon para sa mga lalake. Unfair na naman

      Delete
But if this is a law then it should be used as grounds for annulment.

      Delete
  9. So puwede na ba ito maging ground for annulment under sa " psychological incapacity"?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. dapat lang. Kasi yun din ang totoo. Wag na magimbento ng iba pang rason. Isali dapat ang infidelity as grounds.

      Delete
    2. pabor ako dyan na isali sa grounds. Right now hindi po kasi kasali ang marital infidelity as grounds for annulment.

      Delete
Life is too short.

Not all marriages last. Sometimes people just grow apart or they fall in love with some else. It happens in life.

      Delete
    2. even if there is no third party, any type of separation causes psychological anxiety to the person.

      Delete
    3. 5:06 the premise is marital infidelity sa article na ito but I also agree na may iba pang causes ang paghihiwalay ng mag asawa.

  16. Pwede bang divorce naman

    ReplyDelete
  17. Meh, that’s nonsense. These judges are not psychologists. It takes two two ruin a marriage.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. sa annulment , you need to hire the expertise of a psychologist at i cross examine din siya sa korte.

      Delete
  18. Ridiculous. A marriage that doesn’t work anymore is not a psychological violence. It happens 50% of the time according to divorce statistics. Both parties should have the option to separate with no hassle.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. darling you cannot just say that in court. When you file for divorce or annulment, you need to write down the cause, then support with evidence etc. Otherwise, the court will not accept the petition.

      Delete

    1. An expert witness who is a duly recognized psychiatrist was called to the witness stand. The wife in that case was having an ongoing consultation with the psychiatrist. Besides the wife, being a witness herself also released her testimony to the court and she was consistent with her statements din.

      Delete

      Delete
    4. All good points 10:47, 3:44, 3:46.

      Delete
  20. Hay naku. You don’t need a law for that. Just have a divorce and move on with your life. You can’t force anyone to love you forever.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Teh walang divorce sa Pinas and if you mean annulment - magastos, matagal ang proseso at yung iba nga took years & years bago ma grant. Kalerks ka.

    2. Which makes me wonder - why bother getting married at all kung hindi naman long lasting?

Serious question from an unmarried FP reader

      Delete
    3. 5:08, Hmmm, Tama ka. People change over time. Some fall out of love. Nothing is forever. Why be miserable in a loveless marriage, diba.

      Delete
    4. 9:57, marriage is no guarantee to last a lifetime. Everything in life changes over time. Everything has an expiration date.

      Delete
    5. Yes 3:45 since nothing in this world has a guarantee, why do people still want to get married?

Serious question from an unmarried FP reader

      Delete
  21. That’s very backward and third world mentality. It assumes that women are always the victim and are helpless.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Lol, you can’t charge anyone with a crime because they don’t love you anymore. Kaloka naman yan

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  24. And for me it goes beyond pa nga dyan eh just watch the Chris Watts case on netflix it can happen to anyone. Manipulation ng mga kabit could lead to something fatal and tragic like that.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sobrang damage talaga naidudulot nyan sa babae man o lalaking naging victim. Tapos papakatatag ka nalang dahil bukas will be another day to endure na naman. Magpapakatatag ka para sa anak mo. Pero deep inside you're badly wounded and badly bleeding. Tapos the other party masaya, dahil nasunod ang gusto nila.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Nice. I guess ny biological father is guilty of concubinage and psychological violence. If only my mom would press charges but unfortunately she still cares for that bum.

    ReplyDelete
  27. i agree dito, cheating is catastrophic not just emotionally but huge part of it affects the mental well being of the victim.and more at fault is the spouse or the partner who commited the infidelity, ang kabit is just an accessory to the crime kahit usually sila ang pinagiinitan pero ang dapat managot talaga sa yo is yung asawa mong makati.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Hindi patas to. Walang katumbas na proteksyon sa psychological at emotional violence against men.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. yan lang kasi ang cite na example pero sa mga nagpapa annul , it applies to both gender.

Salamat.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Humans are not designed to be monogamous. That aspect was just invented and forced on people by religion. Fact.

    ReplyDelete
  35. That’s a backward law that serves nobody. Why not have a divorce law instead. Would a woman or a man be happy when they already know that their spouse no longer love them and that the marriage no longer works. You are just forcing yourself to stay in a very unhappy situation for life. In the end, it’s a wasted life for both.
