  1. OA ng mga tao ha. Madami naman talagang pasaway - not the commuters who need to go to work - the ones running away kahit may sakit, the ones na gagala lang sa kapitbahay, magmamahjong lang, etc etc

Now, matatanggap mo ba na as a rank&file employee eh iaawas un sa sick leave m? Na 15days sick leave lang allowed from the company im working with? syempre hindi db.

    5. But she was referring to the commuters who are going to work. Her tv was on and watching the news and cursing them.

Ung iba kasi, as in wala talagang paid leave. pag di pumasok, walang sweldo baka matangggal pa sa trabaho. un ung nakakadesperado kasi virus vs gutom ang choices nila.

      Delete
Did she really have to curse at people?

Salamat. Ingat po tayong lahat.

    14. Yes Cat, this is just a REFLECTION of WHO YOU REALLY ARE. So easy for you to curse people without knowing why they are out there because you are quarantined in the safety of your home with food on the table and not worrying because you have a lot of supplies. If you're not helping them then shut the m🤬f😡r up! This just shows that not all rich people has the breeding, brains and class. And mind you, you may be rich but you can not buy brains, kindness and respect.

    1. Do you think does people who can’t afford to stay at home because they don’t get paid if they don’t work are not concerned about their own safety? If they have a choice I’m sure they would rather stay home with their family and not spend their day figuring out how to get to work or walk just to get to work, just so they can earn money to feed their family.

    4. It's easy to see where her comments are coming from. If you check her IG feed, she posts a lot about her ostentatious lifestyle, plus her friends are mostly 'braggers' pa.
She's indeed very much out-of-touch with reality.

    5. 11:04 & 11:07. Alam ko yan. What I'm just trying to say is alam ko pinanggagalingan nya. Alam ko na concern lang sya sa mas nakararami (trying to understand her apology) Pero yung way ng pagexpress nya ay maling mali. I never said na tama sya. I said, I understand her but it's still UNACCEPTABLE.
For those peple outside, it's their employers who are inconsiderate that I am blaming.

  3. She's so privileged na she's so out of touch of reality. Di sya maka relate sa ordinary people. Kung afford lang sana ng masa na di mag work for a month di naman lalabas ng bahay yan. But they need to work.

    1. It's mostly because they are forced to go to work dahil wala naman directives na walang pasok. ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Apparently, you missed the whole reason of this whole conversation.

      Delete
    2. Correction: the rich CAN be vulnerable to the virus (because they can just lounge around their homes, watch the news, and yell at people who don’t follow the rules); the poor ARE vulnerable to the virus (because they are said people who go out to work and/or buy food for their families because they have none).

      Delete
They just want their families to survive amidst this crisis.

      Delete
    4. 9:46 Rich and poor are vulnerable to the virus, but poor needs to earn each day so they can eat, while rich can afford to obey and stay at home because they already hoarded a month's worth of essentials. See how it can also be a class struggle?

      Delete
    5. True though put yourself in their place. In essence, no one wants to go out but if you dont have money for food then no choice talaga.

      Delete
    6. I disagree. This is, in every level, a class struggle. Who gets to practice social distancing properly? Who can afford to buy in bulk in groceries? Who can afford WFH or staying inside their houses for long periods without having to worry about their next meal? Who gets tested for covid-19? Who will get to have immediate, ample medical care if they ever catch the virus? Think about it.

      Delete
    7. HOW IS IT NOT A CLASS STRUGGLE OMG GINIGIGIL MO KO

      Delete
    8. I'm pretty sure that if those people have a real option to just stay at home, with their family, eat their meals without worrying about the next one, they'd GLADLY stay at home. :(

I'm sure Century Properties employs a lot of daily wage earners so nakakalungkot and galit this elitist outburst of hers. 44. I think her intentions are good but the way she delivered it with cursing, para namang patay gutom kung murahin nya yung mga motorista. I'm sure if they have a choice, they would prefer to be in the comfort of their homes. But they have to be out because they need to make a living for their families. Di nya naisip yon because she doesn't belong to the same class like these minimum wage workers.

    2. No sis. Her intentions were not there to begin with because she’s so privileged that she can’t fathom or even try to picture to be in those low-wage earners’ shoes. She doesn’t understand them at all.

That’s why she can rant like this. She JUST doesn’t understand. It’s 100% privilege showing.

Emotions are running high. Correct her and cancel her from youtube but refrain from spewing insults. Now more than over, we need kinder acts and kinder words.

Wala silang kakainin if they don’t go out. How about calling out the government on wha their clear plans are to help those in need para mas kampante sila na manalagi sa bahay nila?

You have obviously never experienced hardship and poverty. Desperation can force a person to do drastic things without regard for their health.

  66. Go Agot!

  68. If they have the choices that she has siguro wala sa kalsada ang mga taong yan. Im sure gusto rin nilang magpahinga kasama ang pamilya nila while in quarantine. 75. Privilege + ignorance = Cat Arambulo. Education can only do so much. How we use our education remains a conscious and personal choice. Cat obviously left whatever education she gained on the steps of her schools after graduation. And now she only has her lululemons and limited m****rf*****g vocabulary.

  76. Ms. Antonio, perhaps you can tell your husband and your rich friends to implement a stay-at-home-and-be-paid plan so workers don’t have to risk their health and yours too by coming to work to earn the minimum wage they are paid. I tell you, if your husband’s or friends’ companies do this, I’m sure the workers will be more than happy to just stay home. Oh, and while you’re at it, you might extend the same to the staff working in your condo. I don’t think you will die if your lobby or your pool is not cleaned in 1 month. And more importantly, they deserve to stay at home as much as you do. With all this “let’s do our part” sentiment you are trying to send out, I think you should do yours as well.

    ReplyDelete
  77. She is wrong, obviously. We can correct and criticize her without going down to her level. Huwag na po natin syang murahin. It doesn't make us better people when we do that.
