    7. Kahit siya chubby maganda mukha niya. Daming payat na chaka ha

    1. Goodness isa ka pa. As if ikinaganda mo ang pagtawag ng hipon sa iba. Stop shaming everybody whether mataba o payat.

    2. Kawawa ka naman friend napaka shallow mo. Beauty is subjective alam mo ba un?

      Delete
    3. Wow ikaw na ang soulmate ni rider @12:47

      Delete

      Delete
    5. 12:47, Pero ang payat nga hipon will not cost more gas kasi. That’s the justifiable reason.

      Delete
    6. Hay naku, paano naman pag hipon ka and taba pa? Hindi ka pwedeng umankas? Kaloka.

      Delete
    7. 7:11 lol alam mo ba ang hipon?

    ReplyDelete

All of those people who made fun of my weight back in college sila na ngayon ang sobrang lusog at una hirit sa akin pag nagkikita “ginawa mo, kumakain ka ba”??? So pag pumayat na Hinde kumakain hidne pa pwede sabihin nag exercise ako ? Haaaay.

    1. Lol, this is the sad part. A lot of these folks who peaked in high school had nothing else going on apart from their slim body and good looks, tapos pag nawala all of a sudden daming self affirmations sa facebook.

    2. Sis naranasan ko rin yan. My classmate texted me “baboy” sa new # Nya. I saved the message and anonymous number...Then after few months, hi this is kr..... hahaha sya pala yun. 10 years after sya Na ang super baboy... pero I wasn’t really mad at her at Least I knew who called me pig 🐷

  16. Judging by this pic alone, I don't think I would call her obese. She's curvy yes but not obese. Shame on that driver.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. True. Hindi naman sya mataba tingnan talaga.

      Delete
    2. though I see and agree on your point of no to body shaming, let me correct you by stating that obesity is measured through combination of weight height age, so basing it purely on picture makes your judgement wrong

  17. Bukod sa good manners, sana part ng orientation ng riders ang good hygiene. Yung iba kasi mabantot.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I know Saleema, went to internship back in college with her before and can say she is one of the sweetest people I’ve met. She didn’t (nor anyone else for that matter) deserve to be treated this way. Let’s all try to be kind, everyone; it doesn’t cost anything to be kind.

  19. Motorcycles are not meant for public transport.

    ReplyDelete
  20. This is lady is gorgeous!

    ReplyDelete
I may sound body-shaming but that's only some facts.

    ReplyDelete
Pero to rub in somebody's face na they are too fat to be transported? Lahat tayo may karapatan to avail any modes of transportation. Ang branding nga ng Angkas is to beat the traffic. "Helping tackle transport mobility for Filipinos where country traffic is some of the highest in the world."

Filipinos. So, for all. Is it safe to say na lahat ng riders nila of normal weight range? Paano pag may mga overweight rin, how do Angkas deal with them?

There's a fine line between being honest and just rude. Fatshaming will never be about honesty and "just wishing someone well" kasi when people undergo extreme, unhealthy diets almost no one say anything na it is bad for them. When people lose weight, people immediately say it's good, but they don't even know if the weight gain and/or loss are symptoms of health problem/s. It's not about care, judgmental lang talaga maraming tao especially based on looks. That's it.

And since Angkas is in the service industry, dapat nag-roll out sila sa mga riders ng specific spiel had they need to deny a passenger. The spiel should not focus or downplay blame the passenger for being "fat/overweight/obese" but their system. Nasa data gathering pa lang sila so they still can't automaticay assign suitable rides to passengers.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

Okay?

Hirap sa inyong matataba sa halip na mag discipline kayo for the betterment of yourselves, you take the lower road para magpaawa.

      Delete
    3. 3:38 ~betterment of yourselves?~ who are you to talk about discipline? Let me guess, payat ka? And hey, you don't care about fat people. You care about you and what you think. It's all about you and who thinks the same as you, fat shamer.

Walang nagpapaawang mataba. And even Angkas said that they are working to automatically assign bigger bikes to bigger passengers in the future. The problem is fat shamers (again, like you) who think that being fat is all sole choice and lack of discipline. Educate yourself further on this matter please.

And why can't I talk again? Kasi kamo di ako marunong magmotor? Paano ka nakakasigurado? Your logic is flawed to its core. Sana mareevaluate mo non-progressive opinions mo.

  25. to be frank, yung pagiging mataba kasi nako-control yan eh. not body shaming pero may effect talaga yan eh. like kung nasa jeep ka at may sumakay na medyo may kalakihan at pinipilit talagang isiksik sarili niya tas ako na nasa tabi niya naiipit. wawa naman ako nasa-sandwich eh maliit lang ako. tas minsan yung mamang driver, gusto 12-12 eh kay nakasakay na medyo malalaking katawan eh di na magkasya di ba? pinipilit pa ni konduktor na maging 12 para makuha yung exact amount ng 12 passengers eh hirap nga. hehehe kaloka

    1. 5:58 "NoT BoDy ShAMiNg PeRo"

You are indeed a classic example of a fat shamer!
So your point being maliit ka so dapat maliit rin lahat para di ka maipit? Blame our kulelat transportation system, not the fat ones. Di regulated number of passengers in PUVs! It's never gonna be one size fits all! Why don't we notice them more???? Lahat tayo may right na makasakay ng transportation so don't be selfish dahil nasa 'affected end ka' due to these fat people. 2020 na, jusko. Please widen your understanding of things.

    2. Huh..easy for you too say..hindi nmn yan ganyan kadali..minsan kahit anong gawing control tumataba pa di nbcoz of health issues like s medicines nla or sa unknown illness nla..

  28. "Madali lang magpapayat, kontrol lang"

Haha. Gustong gusto kong pumayat. Carrot, celery at cucumber lang kinakain ko. Oo nag lose ako ng weight. Pero onti lang. Pero healthwise I am in good health. Chubby lang.

My sister has a natural slim body. Kahit anong kainin payat pa rin. But she has high blood pressure, diabetes and lifestyle acquired illnesses but she is the one viewed as healthy kasi payat sya.

Ang hirap hirap magpapayat. Nagpunta ako sa doctor to ask for medical advise kasi baka medical issue ito. No need for tests na daw kasi taba lang daw.

  30. imho, weight issues today probably started a generation or two ago and did not get better as the years went on likely because of a steadily sedentary lifestyle and unhealthy eating habits. domino effect.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Not all ay may privilege to buy food like fresh produce, may time magluto pa. Or may kakayanan magsiksik ng oras mag exercise habang kumakayod for money and other responsibilities (taking care of fam, studying, et al). Also consider different body types and existing medical issues, genetics sa ganitong usapan. Kasi in our fast paced enviromnment, we consume what is cheap and readily available. So no, it's not just about choosing sedentary lifestyle or unhealthy eating habits. It tells a lot about our society as whole - unstable economy, poverty, shifting culture, etc. Actually, 'yan ang totoong donino effect. The weight gain of the population? It's just an outcome.
