  3. Importante talaga 2nd 3rd 4th opinion bago mag surgery.

He didnt make it.😥
Hindi talaga natin masabi ang buhay eh.

    4. Tama. Nung sinabing operasyon, yun agad ang tinanggap nila, they never considered 2nd or 3rd opinion. Stage 1 nung inoperahan, naging stage 3 weeks later dahil ginalaw yung tumor. Ayun kumalat at lumala pa. Months later... nag-farewell na. :(

      Delete
    6. Need to have 2nd opinion .10 yrs ago grabe din sakit ng tyan ko daming findings yon pala nabalisawsaw lng buti hindi ako pumayag operahan

      Delete

      Delete
    8. True. May friend ako appendicitis daw buti kumuha ng second opinion yun pala hindi appendicitis at no need for operation

    ReplyDelete

    1. 1:22, yung iba sa kanila is not because hindi pulido mag diagnose but sinasadya talaga na yun ang treatment na ibigay para lang makasingil ng mahal. Andami nang unscrupulous doctors ngayon

State of the art pa. Less incisions.

Ex. medications then observe for days Months at repeat tests pag walang pagbabago yng next nman na approach at last option ang surgery.

    2. Yes! Younger doctors are more aggressive with their approach.

    3. Sis i have gerd din! Tapos naapektuhan naman yung vocal cords ko. Nagkaroon ng nodule at came to a point na 3 months paos ang boses ko at halos mawala na. Took 1st, 2nd and 3rd opinion din. Pero surgery ang ending. Goodthing lang is yung doctor na nagsurgery sa akin eh nasa 50s na and hindi naningil ng mahal. Almost wala akong binayaran dahil sa health card.

Im still suffering with Gerd! My doctor is asking me to have endoscopy, hindi na muna ako pumayag kasi wala pang 6months yung surgery ko.

    4. Protocol says always start with first line of treatment, if medication can be avoided, much better. Only use medication when necessary. Most competent health organizations are gearing toward health promotion and disease prevention using this approach. Saves them millions.

Second line and proceeding more invasive procedures come when prior approach does not work. The problem is, many healthcare providers hate the amount of time, effort, and resources required to test and observe the patient to ensure efficient approach to yield maximum outcomes, especially when cases require elimination of differential diagnoses.

Older physicians are conservative because they’ve learned how to use the lack of resources back on the day. Younger healthcare providers tend to abuse modern medicine to a fault. Most are poorly trained and self-absorbed ones even refuse continuing education. Many are in for the money and prestige. If you could find a good primary provider who actually cares and gives a sh*t, keep them for life.

    5. Tama ka 2:34. Galing mo 6:35 👍👍👏👏 Buti okay ka na. Biruin mo hihiwain ka pa. Pwede naman palang hindi. Dapat mali maling doktor ang isurgery muna. May kakilala ako namatay sa sepsis pagkatapos maoperahan. Di biro ang surgery.

I have GERD din, napaos din ako at ngkaron ng chronic cough, i was treated first for allergy & asthma, GERD pala. I’m taking omeprazole ( prilosec) for 3 mos, once a day 30 mins before breakfast, umookey nman na. Nawala na yung ubo medyo may paos pang konti pero i feel way way better than before. Prilosec is just an over the counter medicine, but you still need to consult a doctor on how long you need to take it.

  7. Calling all doctors question lang. Diba kita sa xray ang volvulus? correct me if I'm wrong ah.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes puede mag necrosis, that's why the 1st surgeon could have suggested direct to OR na to prevent further complications. But some surgeons would prefer to observe first, but it does not mean that there would be no need for further surgery hence the next doctor. If it was me, I would directly suggest surgery kesa naman saka mo pa sya I open Kung marami ng complications and unstable na vital signs. Medicine is not absolute, hence it is an art. Situations vary per person. Doctors also have different approach towards the disease, ok lng naman meron variety as long as it follows the guidelines of practice.

      Delete
    3. Xray is not limited to bones alone, you see mass, and water such as infusion sa xray 😊

      Delete

      Delete
    5. 6:51 thanks. Iba kasi when it comes to small animals. Actually it’s life threatening for them kaya after blood tests and blood gas analysis, x-ray then gastric emptying, then surgery kagad.

2:15 kita siya. Hindi lang bones pwede makita sa Xray. For example fluid, air, minsan nga diba foreign body pa or kidney stones, even to diagnose cancer if nag spread na sa ibang parts ng body. 😊
