    3. I think lahat naman ng phones and cameras ngayon may timer na. And I think can afford sila bumili ng tripod. If not, they can just as easily mount their camera over anything, really. 😅

  3. Sa Pinas ba applicable ba lower salary wages for women? Sa alam ko equal footing at opportunity meron, mas marami pa nga ngayon career women with higher salaries.

    1. Wala namang gender wage gap dito sa atin. Besides, myth lang naman yung gap. It boils down to the job preferences of women and other variables.

    3. Yes. Lalo na sa mga probinsya. Since hindi nationalized ang minimum wage, per region iba iba. At may mga probinsya talaga na mas mababa ang sahod ng mga babae kaysa mga lalaki.

    5. In paper, yes it’s equal footing. In the actual corporate world it’s completely different. Dating boss ko na Pinoy dito sa abroad napaka patriarchal type. Mas gusto maghire & magpromote ng lalaki. Nung magresign yung 3/4 ng team niya and wala siyang makuha, nakiusap na bumalik kami and nagbigay ng empty promises. Sorry na lang siya ‘cos we’re so done with him 🙄

    6. Agree kay 1125. Some might really not know about the wage gap pero meron talagang mapagsamantala lalo na sa mga probinsya. Lalo ung mga nasa agri sector. Ung mga farmers na nagwowork for landlords. At hindi totoong across the board ang minimum wage ng DOLE. Matagal ng laban ng mga manggagawa yan.

    7. kung pinaglalaban talaga natin ang karapatan ng mga kababaihan dapat wag tayong pumayag na palamunin ang mga lalaki sa bahay. May mga ibang babae na mas malaki kumita kesa sa lalaki at sila ang main source of income sa kanilang pamilya. Ang mga ibang lalaki ay palamunin ng babae. Ito ay isang pang aabuso, Economic abuse.

    8. ay naku, natatawa ako sa mga ibang Women's Rights Advocates kuno. May mga iba dyan na tapang tapangan pero palamunin ang mga asawa nilang lalaki. This is very insulting for me, if the guy is not sharing in the expenses. Babae ang nagtatrabaho then there's this gender equality card. Magising kayo, nakakabwiset yung mga lalaki na palamunin sa totoo lang.

  4. Women tend to rate themselves lower din kasi. We just work and do the same things as men but we rarely negotiate our salaries causing the pay base to be lower for women than in men for the same type of work and position.

    1. especially if the woman allows herself to be economically abused. Meaning walang financial contribution ang lalaki sa kanilang tahanan. Ka swerte naman di ba, hayahay ang buhay habang ang babae ang kumakayod kasi equal rights naman daw. This is not equal.

    8. 2:59, I agree completely. Women should not be allowed to stay at home just to take care of the kids and spend the husbands' hard earned money. Both of the parent should work. Equality for all!

    Esp kapag kailangan ng strength sa trabaho or whatever, woman card ang gamit ng iba
    Im a woman but i know my limits
    Tanggapin kasi na di lahat ng bagay equal
    May pros and cons bawat gender
    Oa ang word na equality

    1. Susme.Women should not be limited ti just staying at home and doi g all domesticated work.Ang dami ng mga babae ang may mga trabaho at contribution sa pamilya.Maging productive! Wag umasa lang sa lalaki.

  9. so kung women empowerment, bakit pumapayag ang ibang kababaihan na sila ang breadwinner at palamunin ang lalaki? hindi ba ito ay pang aabuso din sa mga kababaihan. This is a form of economic abuse, kung free loader ang lalaki sa babae. Dapat pantay lang silang breadwinner.

    1. Exactly! Men should also not allow women to just stay at home while they are slaving away to provide for their family. And stay-at-home moms should be ashamed of themselves. Wala kayong financial contribution sa family. Nakakabwesit din yan!

  10. Do not play this women empowerment on us kung pinapalamon ang mga lalaki. Meaning there are those who make women empowerment as an excuse for the spouse not to contribute financially to the household. Nakakainsulto sa mga kababaihan na nagtatrabaho habang pasasa lang ang mga lalaki sa Bahay. Kamusta naman.
