Ano kayang klaseng film yun?!

    2. Korean movies explore different themes and genres. It works. Audience, both domestic and international, are enjoying their films.

Their filmmaking, visual effects, storylines are improving, in fairness to them. They took the risks and reap the rewards.

Try lang ng Pinoy filmmakers. We get stuck with HUGOT MOVIES na.

    3. Well, he just admitted that they just keep doing the same stuff, ergo: basura films.

    1. Hahaha sa dami ng sinabi mo, out of this world nga gusto mo. :)

    2. Yung totoo, ano talaga hinahanap mo? Mukang confused ka eh.

If you’ll charge us the same to see it, better make sure it’s at par with what Hollywood is offering.

    1. True. Yung matinong story, casting, acting, cinematography at direction sana.

    2. Exactly! Good point there, baks.

    3. Happened to watch that indie movie of Erich on cable. Jusko, suntok and stunts ba yun?

    4. Mga inday, you can never expect our movies to have the same special effects kagaya ng sa Hollywood. Kaya nga namatay ang action movies eh. We can be capable, but financially, NO. It's also the reason why they can afford to pay their actors 20 million dollars for a movie. And you have to admit, nag-iimprove naman effects natin sa movies kahit papano. sa acting, we'll never improve kung laging ginagawang basehan ang muka kesa sa talent.

    4. True lalu @2:23AM i so much like Kindgom series. Galing ng story, makeup and effects. So worth watching... so waiting for the next installments

    6. personally, there's nothing wrong w the loveteam system. It's part of the Pinoy pop culture. may sariling culture and Koreans sa showbiz, tayo rin.

    1. Yung movie nya na Birdshot is one of the best movies in Philippine cinema, imo. I hope more people watch it. Ito un kakaiba pero sobrang quality

      Delete
    2. Birdshot was ok. The protagonist girl is an idiot shooting that eagle so everything went down because of her. To think that she's a probinsyana who is so close to nature.

    3. @920, symbols and metaphors

  8. Manunuod pa rin ako ng Filipino movies. Nakakarelax at magaganda ang aral ang ibinibigay nito sa audience... and they are so real and praktikal to viewers.

  9. Our romantic films are too melodramatic. The lines are full of hugot, the actors keep on crying, etc. Horrors turn out to be comedies. Comedies turn out horrific. Fantasies are both laughable & horrific.

    1. Minsan kasi, Filipino movies are not spontaneous, very "cinematic" ang acting and execution and halatang dub ang convo. I was even happy to find out na may Filipino movies na nga sa Netflix --- and i clicked a couple or two, but i stopped. Just my two cents....

  11. Mahal na kasi manood ng sine eh.

  12. Last 3 Pinoy movies na hindi ko pinanghinayangang panoorin sa sinehan are On The Job, Honor Thy Father, and Kita Kita. Thought provoking yung una, napaiyak ako sa pangalawa, and namesmerize ako sa beauty and simplicity ng pangatlo. Most people will say basura na ang mga Pinoy movies kasi nakikita nila na ang tumatabo talaga sa takilya eh yung gawa ng Star cinema.

    1. mga quality movies; on the job- brutally honest, Honor thy father-superb acting, at tama ka sa kita kita simple lang sya pero nakakatouch pa din, reminds me of that japanese movie, heavenly forest, sa huli ka mapapaiyak.

  14. Of course manonood kami if you make something worth watching. Again, example is Heneral Luna.

      Delete
  15. Last few pinoy movies i saw were goyo, kita kita, larawan and heneral luna. Except for goyo, all in cinemas. Pinull out. bumalik sa cinemas after public clamor. Word of mouth.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Lol is he talking about the zombie movie he’s making with joshlia? It’s still a loveteam movie even without the loveteam storyline and he chose a flop loveteam so the answer is no, no one will watch his new movie🙃

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  20. Wala naman problema kung Loveteam ang mas pinapanood ngayon the last movie I watched is The How's of us & Alone Together their both good movies and very recomended to watch maganda storya. Not just Loveteam na pakilig lang may storya siya.

    ReplyDelete
  21. A case in point is Heneral Luna. Not a formula movie, no big stars, but did very well in the box office.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Another direk Erik matti🙄 will complain about the movie industying dying when really he’s just bitter no one’s watching his movies.

  23. Try mo muna gumawa ng quality film, Mikhail. Baka nga manood na kami sa sinehan. Dami mong satsat eh.
