Actor Gabby Concepcion, Gabriel Arellano Concepcion in real life, is facing falsification of public documents case filed by his younger brother, Miguel Concepcion, for the alleged fraudulent sale of an 890-sqm lot owned by their mother in San Juan City.

Tyrone Cimafranca, lawyer of Miguel, said Mrs. Maria Lourdes Concepcion Arellano could not have sold the piece of land located at 3736 P. Guevarra St., in Barangay Addition Hills for P4.45 million for she was out of the country when it was notarized.

“Their mother was in the United States and could not have signed the documents nor appeared infront of the notary public as stated in the acknowledgement page submitted to the Land Registration Authority (LRA),” the lawyer told reporters.

Cimafranca said they submitted copies of Mrs. Concepcion’s passport, showing her departure and arrival in the country from the US during their appearance before the Criminal Investigation and Detective Group—National Capital Region (CIDG-NCR).

While the signatories in the sale of the land were residents of San Juan, the notarization was done in Tagaytay City, and the one who notarized the document was not listed in the registry of attorney’s of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), the lawyer pointed out.

Miguel said he learned of the transfer of the ownership of the land to his elder brother upon his return to the country two months ago after retiring from his work in the US.

It was learned that a school is presently renting the lot and its buildings.

The younger brother of the actor said he tried to reach out with Gabby, yet, he ignored him.

  5. Nakakalungkot yung ganito. Magkakapamilya naglalaban nang dahil sa pera. Sana napag-usapan na muna nila in person.

  6. This is so common in pinas. Families stealing from families. Our nephews and nieces did the same to us. We spent so much money and wasted so much time just to fight them in court.

    3. 7:55, may will ang parents namin.

We’ve been living in the States for over 20 years pero nagtataka kami why when we inquired through a cousin, na iba na daw may ari. To think that we were up to date in paying taxes and arrears, pinapadala sa Uncle ko yung pera. Anyway, iniiwasan kami ng Uncle ko, and my Mom doesn’t want to sue him kasi kapatid niya. Pero sobrang grabe diba?

    2. Hindi rin. Depende pa rin yan sa tao.

    3. You can file a case on the buyers of the land.

    7. Very true. With us, it’s our greedy nephews and nieces who want to steal our land from us.

    8. Very true. Napakarami nang ganitong case sa pinas. Our lawyers told us it’s too common kahit na may will pa. Kasi they are allowed to challenge us in court.

Bwisit talaga and relatives namin. Gusto nila Puro libre lang.

  8. With the stature of Gabby Concepcion eh parang small time lang naman ang 4.45 million pesos and yet nagawa nya. Umayos ka naman Mr. Concepcion.

    1. Very true. It’s impossible to have a relationship with your relatives when they lie and steal from you. It happened to us.

This is same problem with my family. Exactly same thing that happened to my family. We want to get rid of the land pero yung isa ayaw.

    1. Sadly, this is true. Yung sister ng husband ko na ealang alam kundi manlamang, hindi sinasabi na may money every month galing sa land nila sa province, tapos ultimo mo ulam nya everyday sa amin pa iaasa, to think na lahat kami including her, may work naman. Meron talaga sa family na magulang noh?

  14. Hay naku, common problem among siblings. My parents had the same issue but with their inheritance naman, kaya nadala na. Ayaw nila mag-iwan ng will dahil kahit daw may will nachachallenge pa din.

    1. You're saying 890sqm lot isnt worthy enough??? That is worth millions if it's in the city or well developed area.

Point is, Gabby is accused of fraudulently transfering somebody's land to his name. That's just gross!

      Delete
    2. How can it be 4milyon lang? Maybe what was sold is just Gabby's part not the other siblings.Hindi buong lupa.
