822 Anong master's degree? Pano magkakamaster's e kakagraduate ng nursing? Unless fastrack na RN Master's program. Not bashing Carol. I actually admire her kasi iniwan ang limelight to live a simple life. Pero nashushungahan lang ako kay 822 hirit ng hindi alam pinagsasabi.
@1;10. ASSOCIATE IN NURSING DITO EH RN NA, THEN NEED MO MAG BSN, WHILE DOING THE BSN PROGRAM MERON DUAL NA PDENF IDERECHO NG MASTERS. ONLINE LANG MOSTLY KAYA MINSAN MABILIS BASTA MATYAGA.
Nope. It's not easy coz this is mostly actual application of knowledge. It's not classroom/by rote anymore. They are big on evidence based/research and the essays!
This is such an ignorant and negative comment. BSN is not offered in community colleges here in the U.S. But that is beside the point. Achieving such a high honor is still a feat and she should be praised for that.
FYi napakahirap po mag apply and magtapos ng community college sa us or canada.. do u know why?? Kasi publicly funded ng government kaya low ang tuition fee.. parang UP, kung low ang tuition fee, only the smartest and well deserving students can join them
Nursing school in the States is incomparable sa Nursing school sa Pinas. A 2 year-ADN program lang ang inooffer sa Community Colleges but it's very competitive. You cannot just apply in the program just because u want to. Salang sala, GPAs, volunteer and caregiver experiences are important before you get accepted, sometimes 100 students lang per semester ang napipili tas kalahati na lang ang nag gragraduate sa sobrang hirap. Only nurse's here in the states can understand the hardships you will go through kaya it is a big a deal if you get honors, dahil teachers weed out the weakest sa first semester pa lang. Pero, in all fairness naman nurses grads sa Pinas have great skills though.
congrats carol! Not everyone can finish a nursing degree in the states or Canada. kokonti lang nakakapagtapos ng nursing degree at nagiging Filipino RN especially sa Canada and states.
Very inspiring, she really worked hard to get this after so many years of studying. Being a nurse is really a tough job! It takes a lot of courage, guts, skills and knowledge. specially here in US dapat malakas loob at thick skin para kahit masigawan ng mga pasyente at doktor hindi panghihinaan ng loob.. compassionate nurse pa din kahit sobrang hirap ng trabaho!
Bakit ADN grad lang? Mas ok sana kung tinapos niya BSN na lang.. mas tinatanggap sa US hospitals pag BSN -RN kesa RN.. pero congrats pa din, wow summa cum laude!
According to the article I read, Carol just graduated with an Associate Degree then she will take the board after that, then moving on to finishing her Bachelor's and continuing on to a Master's Degree. That is her plan.
Whooaaa?? Kala ko matagal na siyang nurse sa Tate, ngayon lang siya nakapagtapos? Congrats anyways
ReplyDeleteI think she started as a nurse aide then worked her way up to get her degree.
DeleteWow Congrats!! Hirap abutin ng summa cumlaude!! Happy for you!!!
DeleteNaka graduate ng Nurse at nag master degree. Mahirap kasi makahanap ng kursong tinapos mo kapag hindi ka nag master degree.
DeleteOh wow!!!! Super gv. Congrats!!!! :))
