  1. the roles dictated on the husband and wife are a bit troubling. Both can protect the & provide for the family, as well as take care of the children and household.
And both the people in this commitment SUBMIT to EACH OTHER and not just one person. Why does it have to be a hierarchy between two people in a marriage to make it work?

    7. Ayan tayo eh! We ask for equality pero pag dating sa marriage hindi equal. Anebenemen?

      Delete
    8. read 1 corinthians 11:3. napakasimple naman ang pagkaka-state dyan para ma-misinterpret. men and women are created equal but they have different roles designated by God. nasa sa yo na lng yan kung gusto mong sundin o hindi.

    2. 12:26am, 12:49am -- TRUE.

That's the problem kasi when you always feel the need to justify "all Bible verses" in detail. There has to be a leeway because you will go crazy once you take it the wrong way most of the time.

Nourish yourself with the words of God in a way that it does not turn into a "cult" way of living.

"pabibo" kasi minsan mga "pa-Christian na V" na yan. Instead of promoting equality, understanding and faith, annoying ang approach nila. Mas feeling superior pa sa Bible and priests mismo.

They think they know everything in the Bible because they "read" all of those things, and interpret in their own way.

      Delete
    3. I couldn't agree more 1:36!

      Delete
    4. How can God's Word turn your living in a ''cult'' way 1:36am?? Her post is not from her, IT IS FROM GOD HIMSELF, shinare nya lang. At FYI, CCF church nila. And also, Catholic ka ba?

    1. +1000000 12:43, i am a Roman Catholic (Kramers are Born Again Christians) but i understand the illustration and the meaning of it. it is truly how it is designed by God. and hindi yan dahil nasa ilalim ng husband ang wife magiging sunud-sunuran na lang ang wife sa husband palagi and her opinions won’t matter anymore. nakakaloka yung mga nag-comment, mga nakapag-aral pa naman pero masyadong literal ang translation sa picture na pinost ni cheska! my goodness leave her alone! she did not bash nor maligned anyone, so pls stop!

    4. On the contrary, the netizens have all the right to voice out their disagreement to her post because her post is public and she is a public figure. If she doesn't want to get reactions whether positive or negative, then she shouldn't have posted it. After all, when you share a post in social media (not to mention earns from it) and the post especially religion (or politics) is made public, it's open to criticisms. The reactions naman are mostly civil. She's sharing her opinion and they are sharing their opinion on her opinion. All is fair.

    1. Guys, at the end of the day, when Jesus comes back, what our opinion or feelings towards God's Word won't matter. Because God will do what He knows is right, He will judge as according to HIS STANDARDS, not us humans. Whether if you believe Him or not, still, it doesn't change the fact about God's Word, that He exist.
So better read the Bible now, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and repent before He comes back for the final judgement.

  22. In Islam, the wife’s role is to be her husband’s equal partner. However, it does not mean they are identical. Both were created by God with unique physiological and psychological attributes. These differences are embraced as vital components to a healthy family and community structure with each individual contributing their own distinctive talents to society.

PS: In Islam, the only way for you to enter heaven is through your mother who brought you in to this world.

  30. I don't really agree with this marriage framework. I was also raised in an old-fashioned and religious family with the same kind of framework. Why can't a man be equal to woman? Will a family crumble if there's no husband? But at the end of the day, this is her belief and if it's working out fine, then good for her. I don't necessarily agree but this is her family, not mine, anyway.

  32. I think this design, or drawing is not part of the bible. Maybe it is the reader's interpretation. Wala pong drawing na ganyan sa bible. Which is why men and women are created equal, yes there are roles, but the man is definitely not on top of the woman in terms of diagram. She is a helper but she is not a blind follower of her husband. It depends upon one's interpretation, I am also not buying the drawing thingie, we don't see that in our bible.

  54. Marami kasing di nagbabasa ng bible. Sinabi ng diyos na magsubmit ang wife sa husband, not as a slave but bec of her love for Christ. Husband should love the wife too...

  56. Maybe nagkulang lang sa explanation. But with doug's statement. This image does not mean submitting yourself like a slave to your husband. For you will never be called wife but.. a slave. So husbands do not expect your wives secondary to you, they have done a lot that you did not even realized have brought you where you are today. Society should never dictate your relationship
