DearLord please extend your healing hands to our loved ones in need.
Praying for your Papa Ms. Jona. My papa also suffered stroke and heart attack last year, he is now half paralyzed and bedridden. but whats important is that he is still with us.
Fathers/Papas are strong. Your papa will get better soon. He knows how much you've been praying for his recovery. He will not let you down, our Lord will guide him to his fast recovery
This is definitely not an easy time for Jonalyn. I, too, have gone through worse ever since my Dad suffered from stroke. Though I am financially down today, I am happy that he recovered as early as three months. Now, I have to endure paying debts while sustaining his maintenance and our daily needs. Oh, and the countless rants and curses from people I borrowed money from. But I believe that this too shall pass. I may not know how to pay debts but i trust God and His help.
I know what it feels like to have sick parents. You are torn between caring for them and gathering funds. Though I am now in big debt, no money can replace the happiness of my parents. I hope your father feels better soon. More power to us, breadwinners!
When someone is sick in the family, it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be as down as him, too. My Mom who is normally anxious put on a happy face when my father suffered from stroke. She cannot be depressed in front of him as it will hinder his recuperation. I continued working and living my life normally. I cannot let myself wallow in too much sadness because at the end of the day, I have hospital bills to pay and daily needs to sustain. Not because she is in social media means she cares less. Perhaps, voicing out what she is going through somehow lightens up the baggage she is carrying. Also, if she is the breadwinner, this could also be a cry for help. Please, don’t be too quick to judge.
Nag rerequest po sya ng support through prayers. And di po bawal mag soc media sa hospital, hindi naman sya ang gagamot sa tatay nya. Maka bash lang. Eh di wow.
Last time I checked wala namang rule na bawal na mag online if you have a family member na nasa ICU.
Maybe mag-react ka ng ganyan kung yung post niya is nagwawalwal siya while her father's condition is what it is right now. Eh hindi naman ganun, she's asking for prayers nga eh.
Jusko paano ba sya makakahingi ng prayers kung hindi sya magsocial media? Eh mas malawak ang reach ng social media. At may mga kamag-anak at kaibigan din na nakikibalita online kasi hindi sila makabisita. Gamitin mo utak mo teh puro paninita alam mong gawin!
Ang kilay ang nagdala

ReplyDeleteTrue. More than a month in the hospital means that the medical expenses and bills are so expensive na yan. Tsk!

DeleteYou can use social media to ask for support. Masama bang humingi ng prayers para sa mahal mo sa buhay.
Delete1:58, as you said Tatay nya ang nasa ICU, hindi sya. So bakit di pwede magsocial media?
