  1. It's so sad and disturbing. While we tend to worry about little things, let's not forget there are other people whose lives are ten times worse than ours.

    1. It's so hard for me to post happy thoughts of Christmas when photos and videos of Aleppo pops on my timeline. There's a site where and how we can help. But lets double check muna if those are legit. Let's do something for the people of Aleppo kahit in a small way lang. Haaayy, if only we can adopt the families up until war is over.

Bakit ba with all their technology and highly trained and professional soldiers eh hindi pa nila maligpit ng malinis ang ISIS?

    1. Its the govt bombing its own people. Alleppo is the last frontier of free syrian army(backed first by US) anti govt forces and joined and worsened by isis.

assad does not want to be ousted so alleppo was destroyed with the now help of putin.

alleppo falls. People are asked to return. Some are glad and relecutant but just the same they start moving in. But it doesnt end there. Cleansing of suspected supporters or the FSA, isis and those who are after assad's fall are killed.

theres no win for the syrians. Assad is vicious also. Un has proof that he gased on different occasions his people.

lets all pray for victims of greediness and of power. Leta pray for peace middle east

    1. So? Just because she shows concern for such a cause doesn't mean her social life has to stop.

Did it stip you from attending parties and get together too?

    2. The power vacuum that gave rise to the daesh started from the time US invaded Iraq over non-existing weapons of mass destruction. So blame George W Bush.

      Delete
    3. Right 2:17 it started with the G. Bush down to the Clinton's and obama.

    5. Hey 2:05 you are ugly ignorant..mag-research ka! Hindi yung puro left wing media pinakikinggan mo.

    6. 2:05 anung nkakatawa? Masaya ka ba sa nangyari? To too naman sinabi ni anon1:17 ah.

  6. Dear Karen, it was Putin who ordered to stop the bombings. He is supporting Basher Al-Assad from IS taking over Syria. It is not a civil war as the western media projects it to be but a war that the US started. Just cause Al-Assad did not bow to Obama, why did the US supported the IS?

      Delete
    2. True 1:23. Western Media spin talaga yan eh. Kasi hindi "nag bow" si Al-Assad sa USA, kaya "they had to teach him a lesson." But that another story...anyway, I'm glad to see that there are those like you and 2:13 who are well aware of what's going on and not just taking the "news" spun by certain quarters at face value.

    3. At ok na sana pero talagang may hirit about Duterte. Nawalan ng credibility itong si Karen for me. Parang tiga basa nalang sha ng news at pahapyaw lagi against duterte. And not to forget her social climbing achievements. Meh. Buti pa si Ces Drilon. May hirit din kay duterte but I feel her sincerity more as a journalist than Karen.

  10. Obviously, karen davila is ill informed about the war in Aleppo..It is US thru Hillary which aggravated the situation there by financing the rebel ISIS forces in their attempt to overthrow Syria's President Assad.

  11. Ms. Know it all ka Karen!!!

  12. Right wing media Pinoy version.

"Russian backed bombings" but this doesn't reference the fact that in this day and age only Putin is addressing Radical Islam Terrorism.

Anyway that is coming to an end.

  13. Mag alternate media ka karen. Wag puro cnn, fox etc sources ng info mo. Mag wikileaks ka for a more informative news.

  14. meanwhile, all the UN does is to be "concerned".

i stopped watching the videos na after omran. all the children dying from the bombings, ang sakit sa puso.

now, karen, if you're going to post stories about syria, please let us know how to actually help because empathy and outrage are not enough.

  15. Dear UN/US,

This is the biggest human rights disaster thereis. Why not address this first before ranting about EJKs in our country?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well Karen, you're in a hopeless tv station that spread information that tows the line for US interests. You think we don't know that? Abscbn news is a joke. We all know how the US wants to bring Assad down because he doesn't bow down to the whims of the West, and blame the bombings on Russia.

    Real talk about Aleppo:
    Heroes = Assad and Putin
Villain = ISIS and the US govt, with the US govt as the main devil but dressed as an angel.

  19. Please help in whatever way you can... Since the onset of the War, four years ago, I was sending 100$ to UNICEF for children of Syria, every salary (monthly), unfortunately, about 2 years ago, my remittance was blocked for unknown reason until now.. Good I managed to continue to help, I sent a displaced 5 years old Syrian Girl to school sa International School in Al Khobar, KSA. Balak ko sana sa Philippine International School dahil mura kaya lang malayo, when both her parents were unable to find a permanent job.. I paid the full year tuition, bus fee,uniform.. etc. Now that the father has permanent job, back up support na lang ako.. Guys am not bragging, just i want to inspire you guys kung may sobra, any amount share it..
