    3. Anon 5:46PM. 100 percent agree with your statement. I'd rather spend my US dollars vacationing in the Philippines.

    4. Thailand is using poop as fuel and electricity na!

Kasi doon nakakagala ako mag-isa without fear.

    9. 1:41 are you sure about that? I've been backpacking alone in the phil. Safe kaya! And i've met fellow travellers (lone and par), safe naman as for them. Kita mo? You don't even know your own country kasi you really never tried to travel in your own country.

    10. 1:41 True. I walked on HK downtown with no fear nung nagbakasyon ako. 1000 daw from airport to Malate. Leche sila! Mas bet ko mamasyal at magrelax abroad kesa dito.

    8. Some Filipinos never appreciate the true beauty of the Philippines until you try living elsewhere. It is known as the Pearl of the Orient for reason. Just like in any other country, there are parts that you should not go but overall, The Philippines is PARADISE and majority of its people are very warm, happy and friendly...the BEST FOOD!

  3. When I went to Thailand last March, Mario's face was everywhere there. lol Thailand is a great country with really good food and beautiful landmarks. Di kailangan gumastos ng malaki to go on a really good vacation abroad.

    1. Food is the only thing that's good in Thailand. Nothing else sorry. Philippines is a lot more beautiful and truly a paradise.

    2. 10:02 So sad for you to think that way. Each country has something new, exciting & interesting to discover.

    1. Hopefully he truly is. Based on my experience, Thais are not nice at all. Full of insecurity and rude.

      Delete
    2. Not all naman 9:57. I had a coworker na Thai, and he is nice. Even shares his extra spicy food and very eager to learn our culture. Same as foreigners think that all Pinoys are DH or sex workers. Unfair diba. No hate on your comment.

  9. Been there 3x at napakababait nila kahit taxi driver wala kami na encounter na rude ang salbahe talaga mga taga China.

    1. Grabe during my stay in Thailand, minsan lang kami sumakay ng taxi kasi they insist on a fixed price instead na gumamit ng metro. You really have to tell them na magmetro sila bago ka sumakay.

    2. Hopefully anon 10:45 am, the new got cab improve the Philippine Public Transport system. But in terms of beauty and it's people, the Philippines is still much better than Thailand!

What we are pointing out is that Pinoy should discover their own country first before going to other countries!

      Delete
  17. You have to travel local first but then again we can't compare Thailand from PH in terms of developments, they have subway, sky train, airport link that would make your travel easier. You have to travel around to make an impression. You can't generalize everything if you have no experience of traveling around both countries.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Anon 10:49 am. Not much difference really as Thailand is still considered a third world country. Kaya angat SILA ng kaunti in terms of development is because of decades of corruption dito sa Pinas! But Kung ganda Lang pagusapan..angat Ang Pinas!

  21. Been here for almost 10 years already...all I can say is, if tatay Digong would continue to go on with his plans and advocacies, then Thailand would be nothing compared to our beloved country...I prefered to live and work here because back then I can't see any hope in our sinking country, on the other hand, Thailand gave me the oppurtunity I need, here I felt security and convenience but it seems that the table has been turned...Thailand is following the footsteps of the Philippines on the negative side, if they can't fix their present situation, sooner or later Philippines would be the first choice of the foreigners either for tourism or business.
