  1. As far as I know minention lang na he used to rent/own the house before, hindi naman sinabi na he's directly involved in the manufacture of drugs. Pampam lang yung mga reports. Kalma lang Binoe.

  2. If this an on going case shouldn't the person accused shut up and let his time in court together with lawyer address it? Or was this an investigative report on part of Inq7?

  3. I Googled the news and as per online posts, GMA has already removed the portion wherein the actor's name was mentioned.

It was reported as "Ang ni-raid na property na ito diumano ay dating pag-aari ng aktor diumano na si Robin Padilla"

In my own view, the report did not directly accuse Mr. Padilla as the previous owner of the house by using the word "diumano." It only means that GMA was aware that this could be or could not be true.

The deletion of this portion could be an indirect admission that they were at fault or they have reported an unverified story. Issue a public apology to close the case.

However, Mr. Padilla's reaction was uncalled for. It was actually an overreaction. He could've clarified the issue instead of resorting to challenges like this.

Also, since President Duterte has been elected, a lot of people are overusing him and his name to challenge other people even toward the simplest issues in life.

  4. I'm confused, sinabi bang sa kanya yung ballur? Bakit sya defensive?

And Binoe, please lang, hindi ka ganun ka-importante na si Duterte pa ang magtatalaga ng punishment sayo if ever. Wag feelingero.

  7. "Sinabi ng Inquirer/GMA7?" Hoy binoe, they're news outlets, they only report. Like WTF, where's he coming with this BS.

  14. Again. We have the proper government agencies to handle issues like this. Mag sampa sya ng kaso. Di sa presidente agad. Presidente un, mas maraming bigger issues to handle!!

  15. To mention the former owner's name should not have been included in their news article. This is what you call 'guilty by association, and that's why Robin is reacting. Get it?

    1. Agree. Daming keyboard warriors na walang alam. Kaloka!

  16. If you're doing a news article/report, you should say EVERYTHING that needs to be said. I didn't see anything wrong with the report. Bakit "guilty by association"? Napaisip tuloy ako when Robin reacted -- baka guilty nga.

    1. As an example-if you already sold your old car and transfer the title to the new owner, any future events (like the car was used as a getaway car in a crime) the previous owner should not even be associated with the car.
I hope you get it this time.

  17. What I don't get is why suddenly this guy is acting holier than thou? Up to this day, he still isn't credible and should never be emulated.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Not necessarily. As a reporter, you need to find an angle in order to make your story sell. Would you have cared to read about the drug raid article if his name wasn't mentioned?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Exactly my point. The reporter was using Robin's name to sell the story at Robin's expense. That's totally unfair for Robin and his family.

Mr. Padilla, sabi po sa article, "THE HOUSE WAS OWNED" please intindihin mong mabuti, and there's nothing in particular in the said article that alleged you to be the one behind those siezed liquid shabu.

    ReplyDelete
  21. The PDI report states that the house owner used to be Robin Padilla. So if that is the case, how is this news relevant to him. Perhaps, some people are malicious enough and quick to find faults especially to Duterte and Robin Padilla. A simple "past tense" in a sentence can give so much clarity to an issue

  22. Gusto ko yung idea na nainspire ni Du30 yung mga tao to speak up about the change they wanted during his campaign.
