domestic violence should never be tolerated, whether the abuser is a man or a woman. There also women that are abusive to their boyfriends or husbands like hitting them all the time and accusing them of stuff even if they didn't do anything. Staying in an abusive relationship is a major no-no and not a reason to keep up appearances and for the sake of public acceptance. Ask for help from a trusted friend if you feel like you are not in the situation to leave abruptly in an abusive relationship. The world is so big there are other men for you. don't believe in the saying that you only have one soulmate. Don't settle for less than what you deserve. Don't be a punching bag.
