When I was reviewing for a board exam. I pumped while the class is going on and while taking the mock test. I have to stay sa pinakalikod but I did what I have to do. Breastmilk is good 6hrs in room temp.
We should be encouraging this people. Post kayo sa fb or instagram Or wherever, let people know na hindi losyang and may life ka pa while exclusively breastfeeding.

Haha tell me when you're working as frontdesk on a holiday (christmas season) in a hotel. Ayaw ako bigyan ng break kahit pa mandated by law. I still managed to pump while in the frontdesk. Di naman halata kaya lang may hose. 😂😂 di ako papansin pero 1. Masakit na breasts ko and 2. I need to store milk for tomorrow's shift ulit. I was encouraged because a victoria's secret model posted on her social media habang nagpapasuso at minimake upan. Buntis pa ako nun kaya sinabi ko talaga na pag labas ng anak ko magiging katulad ako nung nakita ko. Breastfeed baby kahit busy.
Do you think Bianca pumps milk in public ALL the time? Given the choice, of course, a breastfeeding mom would prefer na sa private gawin. But there are instances that you can't really avoid to pump in public dahil kailangan ma-sustain ang milk supply. And btw, I also pump on my desk, in front of my co-workers, during a meeting, if needed. And I also experienced mocking at first, but very thankful that my officemates opened their minds and appreciated the beauty of breastfeeding/pumping milk.

The pump bag has cooling packs. You can store the milk for 24 hours in ref or freezer. By the way, there are other ways to promote breastfeeding. Ang ginagawa nya is papansin.

Pumping isnt about "appropriate places". It's about needing to pump kasi schedule mo un kundi masakit kasi puno na and you want to keep up your supply.
Posts like this can raise awareness about breastfeeding and that it is okay to this anywhere because it is our right as lactating mothers.
Sure meron halonh humblebrag yung post but it really depends on you if you choose to view this positively or through green tinted lenses

Pero I wonder how she keeps the milk fresh di ba madali masira milk pg di niref? Or did she have to do that dahil masakit na dede nya sa sobrang production ng milk and then dispose of the milk?
The pump bag has cooling packs. You can store the milk for 24 hours in ref or freezer.

ReplyDeleteparang di nga maganda na i-post pa ang pagpa-pump ng milk lalo na sa ganoong venue or event...yung mga ganitong bagay private na lang sana at wag nang ipangalandakan sa social media...
ReplyDeletePumping isnt about "appropriate places". It's about needing to pump kasi schedule mo un kundi masakit kasi puno na and you want to keep up your supply.

Okay sana ang advocacy ni bianca pero mas kilala na kasi sya na self righteous at ksp. If other celebrities like Marian did this, okay lang sa mga tao. Marami na kasing papansin moves si Bianca dati pa... feeling magaling masyado.

ReplyDeletesa mga ipinipilit na okey lang magpump dahil masakit din naman sa dede yan. may halftime ang basketball game pede nya wait un tsaka sya pumunta sa restroom. hindi naman tumatagal ng 1 hour ang 1st and 2nd quater eh. so kaya nya magwait ng halftime para gawin yan or kung nsa 3rd&4th edi after ng game bago umuwi.

ReplyDeleteTrying to be cool, feeling westerner. Desperate to set a trend in the Philippines? Respect other people who feel awkward seeing you pump. I am a mother, too and I breastfed my kids but never in public nor pumped my milk while out and about.
