They had to bring in the hottest and most talented performers today like Hasht5, so naturally there has to be some cuts. Also, they need to come up with original segments like that one where they go to different baranggays and choose a household they would give prizes, too. NEVER been done in a noontime show. Plus, the show is already loaded with singers who could perform live like Kim, Maja, etc.
Meron naman syang new show, yung I Love OPM. Mas okay nga na judge na lang sya, di na sya bagay sa ASAP. I still love ASAP, sana more dance numbers nga lang and bawasan yung mga karaoke and LSS portion.

10:21, I agree. Mga foreigners nagsusumikap magsalita ng pilipino at may tamang accent pa. Yung iba nga pati mga dialects natin mas marami pang alam kaysa sa akin, ako tagalog lang, sila pati ilocano, bisaya, etc. Sa youtube ang daming banyaga na kumakanta ng opm na maayos ang diction.
ShowBUSINESS nya diba!? It can happen to anyone, the network does not really know loyalty unless the said artist is still loved by the public and still a money-making personality. Many shows on TV is not for the arts- like good singing & good music or good script & good actors, it all depends who can amass public clamor and money.
Sa mga shows na napapanood nyo, ilan doon sa tingin nyo ang nag-audition just to be cast on a teleserye? O mga kumanta at sumayaw muna bago naisali? Karamihan wala. Kasi dahil na rin sa ating manonood, basta alam na mataas fan base kahit mababa ang kalidad ng pinapakita basta kikita yun ang maipapalabas sa tv.

Martin is one of the few good singers who can host sensibly and keep the flow of discussion lively, funny and witty and not all about himself.
ASAP segments are no longer well thought of, and production numbers show the same talents doing more than one performance. Although admittedly, Martin's wit, humor and singing does not suit that well anymore in today's version of ASAP.
Sana ibalik yung mga dating segments na masaya pero may saysay pa rin, at tantanan na ang mga hosts na laging nakasigaw, dependent sa prompter at walang spontaneity sa pagsasalita, di sanay ng hindi scripted o di binabasa. iilan lang ang mahuhusay sa verbal exchange like MArtin and Luis :)
